All through my childhood we waited with great anticipation for 7:00 PM on Tuesdays to see Red Skelton. We never missed his show. The funniest man of all time. I saw him twice in person and never stopped laughing for his entire performance.
Truly a gentleman, genius, and just a flat out decent guy. No foul language for his humor! If you need to be vulgar to get a laugh, then you're not a comedian. It takes true talent to do what Red Skelton has/had spent a lifetime mastering. He is still sorely missed.
America's Clown Prince was blessed with the God given talent to make folks laugh....and that is why he got to stay around for such a long time....cuz folks need to laugh more.....especially is today's world.
Before my time. But i watched with my dad and grandfather red skeleton episodes. Hes a genius. Wish Hollywood and comedy went back to this and tv nowdays! This is what America needs!!!!
God gave Red Skelton the ability to make people laugh....a great gift and talent....and even though we at ImaSportsphile web page who are responsible for posting this video along with 2300 more were not around when he was alive....we will forever be indebted to America's Clown Prince for the popularity that he has brought to our site....for with close to 2 million of our 6 million views in our first 2.5 years....he is by far the star of www.imasportsphile.com
Few people realize that much of the music we hear during his acts he actually composed himself ...this man was not only a comedy genius but also a musical talent beyond the norm for the music he wrote was perfectly suited to catapult his comedy acts to give it more expression in just the right measure and feel. . . It is not just the comedian we must appreciate here... but the superb musician he was as well ! I sure miss his top quality shows but the human being inside as well. . .
RoyalSnowbird, thank you so very much for your comment....for it gives me an even greater insight into the man....beyond the incredible ability to make all folks laugh without ever degrading or demeaning anyone...beyond the incredible artist who created many the finest collection of "Clown Art" that has ever been painted....and beyond his 70+ years that God allowed him to bring joy to folks all over the world....even beyond the rolle that Red Skelton will play as the most viewed video of the 11,000 vintage sports, comedy and music videos that I will post at www.imasportsphile.com (with 1500+ currently posted)....which will hopefully build Imasportsphile Academies all over the world to help orphan children have a place to grow up using the tenaments of sports as a teaching and developing tool.....for I have come to realize just how special this man truly was, is and will be....and your comment has broadened my scope....so, thanks!!!!
We at ImaSportsphile webpage really appreciate this comment....and we are sorry it took so long for us to read it....for Red Skelton was a genius at life....as he was a man who continually developed his God given talents throughout his entire life.....as a clown, as a comedian, as an artist.....and now we learn as a musician and composer. Simply put, we were not even a gleam in our daddy's eye when Red walked this Earth....but after posting 1800 vintage videos on our site over the past 2 years....we do know how much this man was loved....for his videos have been watched some 1.8 million times out of a total of 4 million hits on our site.
We at ImaSportsphile webpage agree 100%....and we didn't even know about him until we posted the dozen or so Red Skelton videos in our comedy section of our site....but now after 1.5 million views and thousands of comments about Red....we not only know him as a legendary comedian....but also as the most beloved human being in our 2300 hours of vintage content that we are in process of posting.
BrettBowerActor, thanks for your comment.....for at the core of my purpose for posting 1500+ vintage sports, comedy and music videos at www.imasportsphile.com ....is to bring back fond memories of days gone by....and to give the artists, entertainers and athletes of the Baby Boomer Generation a place in video history for generations to come....cuz these extraordinary talents deserve to be remembered....and if you click on my Comedy section...you will find many more clips of Red.
dan cordosi, thanks for the comment....and glad you liked one of the 1700 vintage sports, comedy and music videos that have been posted at www.imasportsphile.com over the past year and a half....and with 9,000 more to be posted, we recommend you bookmark our site....do not rely on utube....for we have 100 different tube channels that we use as "video weigh stations" for the 2300 hrs. of vintage content we are posting in it's entirety on our site....so, you will surely miss some "nuggets of gold" from our treasure chest of vintage "memories" if you don't bookmark us and visit regularly…cuz we post new old videos almost every day.
That was a bummer. Not the show, not getting to hear his song at the end. that is a heart felt song he wrote that tops off his shows. Its like a day without sunshine.
Jack Travler, thanks for your comment....you need to click on www.imasportsphile.com....where over the past year we have posted 1500+ vintage sports, comedy and music videos....with lots of Red in our Comedy section....and since we have 9,000 more videos to post....you might want to bookmark our site and not rely on utube....cuz we have 100 different channels under different names to support our 2300 hours of video we are posting.

Clem was a perfect example of how Red to develop a common everyday person into comic genius....for we at ImaSportsphile are indebted to his popularity which has driven our webpage to 4 million view in just under 2 years.

There will never be another Red Skelton, I'm afraid. He was a wonderful human being and a funny man!

i think he was the greatest of them all.
LOL.!! Imagine if Red were still alive and performing today, what would he be doing with KFC & Mc Donalds etc. The mind boggles. 🤣🤣

I love Red's "Donut Dunking"routine..I wished that he did a "Verbamime"..with a plate of "Hostess Twinkies" and a glass of milk.
I still don't know who Clem Kaddlehoffer is. Now, Clem Kaddiddlehopper I've heard of.

Folks loved Clem.....for he was America's Clown Prince most popular character
Why the reference to drinking? Clem was never a drunk! Clem was an Icon from the 70s!
7 Red Skelton good night and God bless
Clem *Kadiddlehopper* is how you spell the name. Why won't you acknowledge this in your replies? *You got it wrong!!*
