Ive been looking for a way to make my enemy characters disappear when they die for so long and somehow this video that isnt even about about that subject was the solution for me. I didnt use Event destory and just attached 'Spawn System Attached' to my death animation node and I used a niagara fx that covers the enemy when it dies. Then I used a delay of 10 seconds (thats how long the fx last) before destoying the actor.

You tag them and put them in an array.

Make sure you have "Simulation Generates Hit Events" ticked else none of this works. It's not ticked by default.
