Funny, at first I didn’t like his dubstep, but I listened to his most recent stuff and I gotta say I am shocked! He has grown, he has refined his music skills and making some killer tracks! I salute skrillex, he’s a musician!
I was a fan of FFTL way back in the day and this dude was so popular in that scene at the time because he was 14,15 from California and his parents let him drop out of school to be the new lead singer and he was amazing.. and that’s when the band truly blew up in that scene. He was one of those popular my space scene kids before he became the singer with thousands of friends. A lot of those popular my space dudes joined famous underground bands that way and it would usually make the bands a lot more well known and successful.. he was one of them at the time. I’m his same age, so I saw them on their first tour with him at HOB when I was 15. He killed it too. Anyways.. it blew my mind because many years later when I was already a fan of skrillex for years at that point.. I found out he was actually Sonny, truly blew my mind

I have pictures where i can't tell which one is Sonny. We could go to any shows we wanted to for free. I don't think they keep in touch anymore as far as I know.

In my 8th grade poetry we had to break down a poem or a song and describe it and explain what type of poetry it was… I chose Note To Self by From First To Last. Still my favorite song besides Emily and the when he covered Seven Years by Saosin. There were other great songs such as Ride The Wings of Pestilence, The Greatest Plague, Secrets Don’t Make Friends, and Kiss Me, I’m Contagious… There are other songs but these are the best ones to me. They’re all good though. Sonny as Skrillex is good but Sonny in FFTL is the best!
