I filmed this about a month ago, and then went and became busy ^^
I hope it was an amazing collecting year for all of you and I want to Thank You for being part of mine. I collected a lot of gundam this year somehow as well, lol. I will be with you guys as I continue my videos this coming year!

I've seen Gundam Seed three times, so I'm shocked you have never finished it. SHAME.
I say that, but I've also not finished G Gundam. haha It's fun but didn't captivate me at the time.
I love Gundam Seed Destiny. The first episode made me cry, it's such a good series opener.

SHAME on me then XD Yeah, never finished it, even though I liked the characters, BUT I will remedy this. I intend to watch all of it, and I will talk to you about it for sure XD

I loved the Castlevania series! It made me wish we could get more series like that in the West. They are going to continue making more with a spin-off series.
The more gundam the better lol. I rewatched G Gundam maybe a couple of months ago. I had a lot of G Gundam action figures as kid lol. The animation was really beautiful. Some of the Gundam designs were pretty funny looking. It's like street fighter/Dragon Ball Z meets Gundam lol. Very different for the franchise.
Yeah your right Gundam seed destiny was definitely controversial lol. I remember enjoying aspects of the series, but was annoyed by the new main protagonist. I did love the soundtrack to the series.
OH! What good news, i didn't know they were also going to make a spin off series, thats great : D Like you said, I also want more animation in this style, so i will continue to support it ^^ It's also a goal of mine to get through it this year.
I went heavy on gundam this year LOL not sure why, but as you said, the more Gundam the better~

I want to give more attention to seed and destiny, I never did have a final opinion on seed. What I did watch, I look back on fondly, so it'll be a fun one to dive into for sure ^^ Thanks again Ronin : D
Castlevania is truly incredible, a great example of what the west could be producing in the Animation world more often that it does. The story is captivating and the 'dub' is so well acted.
BL games and the like are so frustrating for me as I LOVE the art more often than not, same for all things Otome too. But often don't find myself likely to enjoy the shows or games etc. I wish this sort of artwork and design was more popular in the mainstream too.
Normally prefer a mix of both Mech and Pilot art but given the choice unsurprisingly I lean Mech. I'm totally with you on that cover for Destiny, I think it's because Kira is leaning slightly and his torso at a glance looks elongated. But the lean with the relatively straight horizon behind them is a weird look.
G Gundam is my next stop on my Gundam journey and I'm looking forward to it alot. For one the art and variation in designs is exciting, the opening is top tier ("Shining Finger!") and it has a proper dub which'll be my first for a Gundam series since 79. Also finally and slightly bitterly it is not directed by Tomino YAY! lol

I have to make sure I complete Castlevania this year, because of all the little things I have seen from it, it looks amazing. Part of why I bought these is because I want to support animation that looks and feels like this show ^^
Yes, I completely understand that feeling! BL and Otome really is some of the most stunning design you can find in anime and gaming, but some of the stories are hair pulling frustrating! I say this with love, and as someone who enjoys those genres, but man, some it can be hard sometimes. For me the ones that shine are real gems and the ones that fail are 'car crash fascinating' which is one way I would describe dramatical murder. At some point I want to put up a video listing some of the best ones in my opinion, because they really are beautiful.
I'm glad how I feel about the seed destiny covers makes sense LOL when I was editing, I kept thought: Now Val you didn't describe your issues well enough here... but I left it in anyway lol. I just love seeing really good mech art, but you are actually right, a mix of both really is the best of both worlds!
Ahahaha! OK cool, I will have to talk to you when I watch G gundam : D If you don't mind me tweeting at you a bit, I'm also looking forward to it too ^^
