Missed your blu-ray hauls, some fantastic titles there. I adore Haruhi, Gunbuster, One Piece Film: Red and the Violet Evergarden movie. Miss Hokusai and Goodbye Don Glees are a couple of great movies as well. I've also been really slow on my Sailor Moon watch though for me it's my first time watching the original (I started with Crystal) and loving it so far, only 12 episodes into the first season but looking forward to getting to the rest of it eventually. I have upto season three already and need to order the fourth season now it's out.

OG Sailor Moon is great! But it's just so many episodes, I think you are doing the right thing by taking it slow ^^ Enjoying things at your pace is important (something I have to keep relearning somehow hahaha). YES season 4 is out and I completely missed preordering it, but I will be picking it up as well : D
I'm so glad to read the love you have for film Red and Evergarden the movie, those are a couple of my favorite things I picked up last year

Oooooo GUNBUSTER!!!!!! I LOVE GUNBUSTER! I ended up getting the UK limited edition as well as the Discotek bluray.

The art on the inside wrap and the discs for The Vampire Dies In No Time is great. I like the comedy in this show quite abit and the dub was great, especially Frank Todaro as Dralc.
Need to get back to One Piece now that Wano is over. I stopped exactly before the Film Red filler episodes. That Foil cover is amazing, I've once again fallen behind on One Piece physical releases, something I'll have to try and rectify eventually.
I just bought all of Violet Evergarden as the series and ova were on sale, so I bundled them together with the movie too. Really looking forward to finally watching this modern classic, obviously heard and read you gushing about it for awhile along with others so really excited to see it.
Gunbuster is sci-fi perfection. That ending absolutely got to me and on so many levels as well. One of the best Anime endings ever and frankly endings in fiction period. Absolutely blew me away.
Literally will hit 2000 on MAL within the next couple of weeks and I've still not watched Sailor Moon, I'm abit ashamed about that lol. Especially since I have it too. Anyway I'm sure I've mentioned that everytime you've talked about it so hopefully one day I'll get to it. Maybe before 3000 lol.
It's maddening to me that I've still not watched Miss Hokusai since I've had it for years and I love Japan historically set anime. It looks beautiful.
Not really heard much about Goodbye Don Glees myself but looking into it right now it seems like it could be really good. I especially like the character designs.
I made the grave mistake of doing my watch of Haruhi Season 2 aka the same as the original but expanded and I watched it up to the next episode being the endless eight arc and I stopped and now I'd certainly have to start over.
I started watching the series of Ashita no Joe last year but actually fell off it as I wasn't enjoying it. I plan to go back but it didn't quite meet my expectations. I found Joe really unlikable at first or annoying anyway and that is the point and I know he and the show will get better but idk I just wasn't feeling it. I will certainly give it another try because of how iconic it is. I think once it actually gets to the boxing show it's destined to be then I will enjoy it but 16 episodes in and it still wasn't there so I dropped it for something else. Maybe I should just watch the films instead.
Robotic;Notes is pretty cool, certainly the most gentle of the science adventure shows though it still has its moments. I've only seen it the one time but it was good and I still remember it pretty well.

I'm so glad you have Violet Evergarden! It caught me off guard, so I hope I didn't oversell it to you, but I genuinely believe you will enjoy it. It helps that its gorgeous on top of everything else. Let me know when you do give it a watch, I'm so curious about your reaction to it all ^^
I would've put money on you having seen gunbuster before, because it's SO an anime I knew you would love. It's funny, seeing it years later and the ending still gives me goosebumps, it is indeed perfection as you say ^^
Nahhhhh, Sailor Moon will ALWAYS be there, you can watch it whenever and still have a great time with it. It's fun with some crazy designs, so I wouldn't worry about having not seen it yet. I feel bad that I haven't seen Haruhi all the way through and I lived through that hype (and had so many friends tell me to watch it, so I will do that this year I think) and OOOO so happy to hear you hit your anime milestone of 2000 anime! I'm terrible at keeping track but in no way do I have an anime count like that. And See? It makes sense why you have stellar anime recs my friend ^^

I love getting more mech series. So I might have to check out Gun Busters. It looks like a fun one. I need to pickup Ashita no Joe movie. Always been a big boxing fan. Plus I loved the spin-off Megalo Box. Always wished we would have gotten an English manga release for Ashita no Joe.

Oh! Ronin I think you would love Gunbuster, it's fantastic : D Same goes for Ashita No Joe, it takes a bit to get going though. OH I have Megalo Box and just haven't sit down to watch it yet, I know you and a couple of friends recommended it to me a while ago, I really need to get to watching that. I'll let you know when I do : D
I'm also surprised we didn't see an english manga release for Ashita no Joe, I know it inspired a lot in other manga. Thanks Ronin!
Love it how I picked Goodbye Gon Glees cause of your recommendation and yet you haven’t seen it? Hahaha did I have another fever dream 💭 lol anyways I watched it and loved it! I cried! Great haul as always
AHAHA ah well, to be fair, I filmed this a few months ago and have seen it in the in between XD aaaaaand this is why I really need to stick to editing right after filming, but Yay! I'm so glad you liked it : D

I'll be curious what you think of Miss Hokusai! I'm a very big fan of the director and it really plays into his strengths.
I'll talk about it in an upcoming video! I am so behind on the videos and the anime I want to talk about, but it's great to be getting back into it ^^

I'm getting a big tax return this year, so I think I'll treat myself to Gunbuster.
I also have not seen Haruhi Suzumiya. I wasn't the biggest fan of Lucky Star when I tried watching it a few years ago, and I kind of was worried Haruhi would be the same thing. Maybe I'll like it more, though.

Oooh Dylan you aren't too off from that, Vampire is very similar, just more working adult silly-ness rather than school silly-ness (both are great)
Gunbuster is totally worth picking up if you have the chance, it's part of anime history ^^
