These are just some of the last titles to come in towards the end of 2022.

The whole scene between Conan and Lupin at the vending machine is great fun. The Astrores upscale is really good for the special, can barely tell it isn't native HD.
You know for sure I picked up Dead or Alive, just an absolutely fantastic Lupin film and my personal favourite of the theatrical releases. So pleased to finally got that on Blu Ray.
As you saw I watched Lupin vs Cats Eye over the weekend and really enjoyed it. Did you get around to watching yet? It makes me want to rewatch Cats Eye soon and I'm hopeful it may even allow for the girls to get something new. But the special does work pretty well as a final outing for the girls too.
Princess and the Pilot is a beautiful film, I love avation anime and this stands pretty high on that small list. It's great and I'm sure you'll like it. Shame that Discotek didn't get to use more key art from it though on the packaging. The older NIS edition has lots of extra artwork so it certainly exists.
I've not got to watching my own copy of Like the Clouds, Like the Wind just yet. Hopefully it's good though it is a shame that the license expired as the film got a remaster over the last year or so and is a pretty substantial upgrade on the original HD materials available that Discotek used. Could see this film landing with GKids one day, perhaps even with a dub.
Loved Flying Phantom Ship, it's by far the best 60's anime film or indeed anything from that decade I've seen thus far. It just never stops being fun, the story never stops moving and the animation never stops being amazing. Just a great time all round. The new dub was brilliant and I really enjoyed the commentary, worth the time if you haven't listend to it.

It is a great scene! I just really like the lupin/conan crossovers so much, and I agree, the blu rays really really look great!
Same for Dead or Alive, I feel like you and I were hoping for it for so long, and now we get too enjoy the blu ray, what a time to be alive ^^
I haven't had a chance yet! I will though, I'm pumped for it, and yeah, I know thats whats going to make me dive into back into Cats eye, because I seriously need that rewatch ^^ I would love if it gets more Cats Eye from it, as you said, bring the girls back!!!
Thats right, it did have an NIS edition, I totally forgot about that! Yeah it really was a "I'll get this why not" in the last second of prordering other things, and I'm so glad I did. I need to pop that in one of these nights now : D
I swear, it's so funny you mention how Gkids might be a good candidate for putting out Like the clouds like the wind, because I kept forgetting it was a discotek release, it really looks like a Gkids thing ^^ It's really pretty, from the few scenes I have watched, I still need to do a proper sit down and watch. I filmed this the day before a plane ride, so a lot of these are just sitting on my shelf still ahahaa whoops.
Flying Phantom Ship is just great. I had such a good time watching it, and YES the animation, for the time it was made? Stellar. OH shoot, you are right I should've mentioned in the video that it has commentary. And yes I did need the reminder, I love commentary ^^

Dead or Alive is so good!! I need to get more Lupin when I have funds again.
It's so funny how fast things go out of print. "This is going out of print." Literally five minutes later it's sold out.
Flying Phantom Ship was really good! It was a lot darker than I anticipated.
I'm still so so happy you were able to pick up Dead or Alive, it really is one of the ones worth picking up ^^
Yeah, you are right about that, I know it has to happen but it's always a bummer when its something you have been meaning to buy. I would rather hear about something going out of print vs. it quietly leaving, and then the price jumps to 100 or something high like that. Funimation titles seem to do that a lot a somehow.
Yes! Flying ship is! It's why i think of it as more an adventure movie than a 'kids movie' still stunned we got that one over here lol

I still need to pickup Lupin vs. Detective Conan blu-rays. Remember seeing the vending machine scene was really enjoying it.
Cats Eye I've been quite interested in picking up the Blu-rays recently. Especially with the Lupin the 3rd vs. Cats Eye release. Which I did enjoy quite a bit.
I really need to pickup Dead or Alive. Heard always great things about it. So much lupin releases I need to check out lol.
Seen some clips of Princess and the Pilot. It looked like a really interesting and emotional movie.
So tempted in picking up Phantom Ship too. Heard so many great things about it.

Ever heard of Ultimate Muscle? Because Discotek has re-licensed the anime and they're releasing the dub in it's entirety on Blu-Ray this year
