I have been a fan of Kirstie Alsop since the first time I saw Location, Location, Location, dubbing her "Our Lady Of The Sledgehammer". This series has only increased my admiration. I love how she gently encourages people to follow the design precepts of William Morris, who opined that good interior design need follow but one simple rule" "Have nothing in your home that you do not know to be useful or think beautiful." Follow that rule and your home will always feel right and distinctly your own.
So enjoying watching this again a real escape from Covid and politics
Muy cierto 😃
We could always use an iron on heart. Frown...Just get on with it. Haha! That lady melted her with a glance.
My goodness I'm addicted.
I wish this show had done so many more episodes. I love the content. The way she talks about fabric is exactly the way I am. I have to have a walk in linen closet in the next house.
My mother needed to have a walk-in house in her next linen closet. She was that way too.
I hope Kirsty gets a chance to do another series. I love Kirsty she’s got an amazing talent and so lovely 😊
Agree, and I adore that aquamarine ring too!!
You prolly dont care but does anyone know a way to get back into an Instagram account?
I was dumb lost my account password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Simon Aaron Instablaster ;)
@Blake Kaleb thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out atm.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Blake Kaleb it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my ass!
I loved this episode, it's my favourite one. I love the DIYs, the couple and there unique home. So glad I found these series. ❤️🏡
Hello how are you doing 😊😊
Beautiful couple creating their ideal home. 😍 TFS
Well I loved these series and Kirstie, I am so envious as I don't live in Britain and have access to these wonderful markets.
I'm almost embarrassed to write that when I went to London 4 years ago, as we flew over the city, was I thinking Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, River Thames etc, etc? No, I was thinking Kirsty and Phil! Greetings from Australia!
That's THE BEST!!!
@@andreaandrea6716 😂
Kirsty is the best. Loved the outcome.
yes, she is!!!
I couldn't believe my luck when I stumbled upon this channel today...gotta love it when UA-cam get it right! I swear Kirstie doesn't age😲
I know!! She is lovely!! (3:13) I back to re-watch them all.
I really enjoyed this episode. I like repurposed items, old and hand crafted. I want my home to be unique. Often the decorating programs have a lot of new items, I treasure the character of the older pieces.I found it interesting to watch the frame decorating.
I greatly thank UA-cam for presenting your series to me today. I love it that you see the value in used items and in adding self-made artistic touches. The world needs people to switch to your mindset :-) Now I'm going back to Series One, for happy viewing :-) (From Louisville, Kentucky, USA)
Kirsty , you bring me joy Great time to chill & watch your programme. Happy new yr. Maureen 🇮🇪❤️❤️
Extraordinary. I wouldn’t know where to start and they made it look sooo beautiful.❤️
I’m with Kristy. Secondhand furniture is just the absolute best, with way more character than todays boxy boring furniture.
This was a fantastic episode. What a great home, so reflective of the couple.
Love you Kirstie, and I love this couples home! I know this was 2 years ago, I only hope that you can do another series like this?! Love and Blessings from a forever fan in Devon, England. xxx
Their home is beautiful
Such a brilliant series. Love it!
I love your videos. So interesting and different. Well done 👍 x
Fun, to see Tony Gering, seen on Salvage Hunters with Drew Prichard and restoration artisans.
We use to go to all the jumbles, and any other indoor sales, but people in our area don't do it anymore as it's too expensive to hire the halls.
Those markets are making me faint with JOY... I always dream of going to the UK and bringing back a container load of things but may need more than one hahahha I keep making noises every time I see something I love hahhaha ...drooling all the way from New Zealand!
This is just a great series....
Simply awesome video with lots of Information and knowledge
Enjoy

Love these❤
‘It’s much greener! I’m passionate about this sort of thing…” she says, driving a Land Rover
I want those fabrics like one's in your pillow. Old linens and scrap fabrics my weakness too.
So much more fascinating to learn the craftsmanship than to make the more common DIY projects!
I told myself years ago that I either had to unpack and use the things I was saving - if I loved them - or get rid of them. Many of the boxes contained things I had forgotten I had, but loved. Some were things I kept because I thought I should, but didn't really care for. It was very freeing to clear out the boxes, and delightful to display the things I truly enjoyed. Now the trick is to keep up with the dusting!
Loved the.benches and the.cabinet x
I’d have taken both of those cabinets and stacked them! @14:00
Oooh! Knew Kirsty from Kirsty & Phil's LIOLI. This show's the part I love to watch from LIOLI and more! And I don't have to watch listed homes!!
the other 8 videos are STILL BLOCKED in Australia!!! >:(
Yes make it your home, Not the trend of the day,
It's good to see some multicultural influences.
The way British people say, '7AM in the morning,' like 7AM could be in the evening, if you're not keeping a close eye on it.
why are some fully available, and some blocked in Australia???
humongous aquamarine on her finger, couldn't pay much attention to the video...
It is awfully large! Could be Topaz, as well. Easier to find in that size.
Hind left hoof has an issue. =( Poor baby!!
Kirstie may say she's green, but look at the gas guzzler she drives!!!
Do you drive an electric car?
She does live in the countryside and has a bunch of kids. At the end of the day, I think the fact that she thrifts for second hand items, evens out the score..
@nova00boss how else would you be able to buy the 2nd hand stuff without that size vehicle? she needs a reliable car for her family & something large enough to put furniture in.
I hate this decor🤦♀️
I find it a bit cluttered
Verre eglomise
Is this the unsellables lady?
No, but she acts, talks and looks very similar to her. I was having the same impression. The other show is from Canada 🇨🇦.
@@slonecznikdoniczkowy thank you. Somebody else meant in another episode that this is her sister
@@Stoffmonster467 That would be interesting 🤔. Who knows, but I really like Kristie. I'm in the US and really enjoying UK shows! I was binge watching it today!
@@Stoffmonster467 This is so interesting that we both had the same impression by just watching her, so...yes, they are sisters I just google it.
Love this show. ❤❤
