Not sure "smashing" is the most propitious word to use to describe the stained glass window...
How did they change the color of the leather
You can get dyes for leather.
How did all the red leather furniture in the study change to black leather furniture?

@@carolburke9153No. Go to 44:02 and LISTEN. "By revamping some of Gemma and Shaun's original furniture" is said as the newly black leather furniture is being shown. Clean your ears.
did they send out the ugly leather chairs to be painted or reupholstered?
I'd say that they had them painted...reupholstering leather is expensive
You can PAINT leather furniture? Sounds awful!

So glad to see people discovering, appreciating and using vintage & antique furnishings & decor. The quality, appearance, value and satisfaction of owning "real" pieces is something that cannot be had from mass produced "throwaway" things, made to be disposable.
I'm so proud of that couple how they worked together. Their whole home will be beautiful.
My Dad made stained glass pieces for years and he is now teaching me how to do it. I live in Northern New York where the majority of old homes are from the Victorian era. And many of them have lost their stained glass over the years. There has been a demand on replacement stained glass in recent years, and I would like to be able to make and sell pieces in the future.
Great show!!! Finally, people are seeing the beauty & value of using, repairing, & repurposing/upcycling items from the past!!

This home is lovely! It has period features but modern style. So warm and inviting! It is refreshing to see character in a home. I'm tired of bland gray one room living spaces....too modern with no warmth and character.
Thank you for this show, it gave me so many ideas! We‘re moving into the house of my grandmother build originally 1848 by the end of July 2021. I can‘t tell you how much my grown up boys and I are looking forward to make it pretty and functional after having rented our whole lives 💖.
I'd never know from the finished hall and study that the house had fallen into disrepair. They did a stunning job.
