    In this video we show you how to properly perform the shoulder press machine in the gym. This is a great alternative for the traditional barbell and dumbbell press video, especially to keep constant tension on the shoulders. However, we often find this is done improperly, so we hope this video helps you all out.

    You guys are some of the very few competent ones who actually advice the correct technique and ROM for a shoulder press. So much half reps (machine and free weights) makes my eyeballs pop. And alignement of the joints it's SO important, no one talks about it. I just see a rotator cuff injury coming at 80% of the gym goers.

    • @Jay-qt6xu
      @Jay-qt6xu Рік тому

      If you can't lift it without arching your back it's definitely too heavy. Could also mean the handles are too low for you if you are arching at the bottom. Quality matters more than weight. My right shoulder is messed up, but I'm stronger than ever from controlling every rep with care

      @funs8582 dude, I talked to my trainer for this. This is about training for a long time. Train your shoulders with lightweight dumbells but more reps than usual. If one of them is weaker, train it more than usual. Give yourself a month before trying on a machine. Do shoulders on a bench first for a month.
