This car is truly the most luxurious EV! While I am not a fan of the exterior styling, the interior is beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. The biggest takeaway for me was how relaxed I was driving this no matter where I went! What would you guys buy in this category: Model S / EQS / Taycan / e-tron GT / Air?

@@humushumus2219 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I think it's fair to say many if not most people (would) find the EQS ugly. A big part of that is how they designed the 'fake grille', it just looks so cheap and tacky, really missed the mark there. I get the same feeling with some of the elements in the interior, such as those light bars and the 'hyperscreen' that doesn't even try to hide the fact that it's a piece of glass with three displays underneath. Personally I think it's the most uninspired EV design I've seen, the only uglier one I can think of is the BMW i3, but that at least has some form of character/creativity.

This video cost me $100k when I bought the EQS 450+ based on this review in June. I am in love with the car, especially features that are not available with Tesla, like a sunroof that opens and has a motorized screen plus Apple CarPlay and SiriusXM radio. The adaptive cruise control works great and you can change lanes with a simple flick of the turn signal. The 4 wheel steering is insane and makes the car feel like a compact when making tight turns. My only regret is the poor quality of the free Electrify America chargers that are frequently out of service and make me cautious about taking a road trip. Thanks for the tip, Kyle!

Good video and no need to pander to Lucid because they invited you to see their car. The top of the line spec models for the electric sedans with 100kwh to 140kwh battery packs and 230 to 520 mile range:
    - Porche Taycan is $185K
    - Lucid is $170K
    - Audi E Tron is $140K
    - Tesla Model S is $130K
    - Mercedes EQS is $126K
🤔 just not sure if the range of the Lucid with the large 140 kwh battery will push the Lucid over the other sedans as the interior/tech imo was not impressive not to mention with no air suspension as its standard when compared to others for the price and Rawlinson did say it's just not about adding more batteries I guess that changed!

I enjoy watching your videos, seriously how many are willing to spend 100,000 dollars for an electric vehicle not me. Then the hassle of charging how much charge does an electric vehicle lose if it doesn’t move or on a charger for a week or goes only a short distance daily. Even though the government wants to eliminate ICE vehicles what about the population who street park don’t have a garage or live in an apartment or condo without a charger at every parking spot. It’s hard to imagine rush hour traffic in downtown Atlanta and every car is electric and everyone needs to find a place to charge.

This is exactly the issue. In NYC charging is mad as it is. Trying to find a place to charge your car on top of that 😡😡😡

31:40 PM2.5 means particulate matter that’s around 2.5 microns in size (PM10 is particles that are around 10 microns in size). And the unit for measuring it is microgram per cubic meter.
So you had as little as 1 microgram of PM2.5 per cubic meter of air at that point.

If lucid improved nvh which would you choose? Interesting that it really falls short of the car class that lucid has said publicly they’re targeting.

I actually like the looks. It does look really luxurious, and something about it makes it a step above the s class.

Beautiful design and driving features. Great dashboard and consoles. Good pricing. The Lucid Air is no match with this car.

Sure -- why would an upstanding company like Mercedes mislead you? They would never do that, or cheat their customers, or have to pay a 1.5 billion dollar fine for cheating on emissions. These things just don't matter when a guy is deciding the important stuff in their life, like do they want doors that open themselves. What is their little assault on every human being on earth through their lungs compared to your significant issues? It just pales in comparison. Besides we all know that Mercedes really cares about stuff, like the other German car manufacturers, their all so honest, like dealing with the mafia. Besides you have to be darn smart to not just cheat the public and government but to think they are all so much stupider than you that you will never be caught. Great review.
