Jasper you are such a great wholesome dude sharing your knowledge purely for the benefit of others. You are the type of selfless person we need in what is a very crazy world right now, the commercial brewing world included. Thank you for your contribution to brewing and to mankind. Seriously!
Taylor, I appreciate this a ton. Thank you for the motivation. It's not easy to commit to be a good person. Dont lie, cheat or steal and help others is something this world definitely needs more of. Cheers
This whole series is amazing, I'm a homebrewer building a 1/2bbl setup which is as close to a microbrewery setup for workflow as possible. I definitely feed off your enthusiasm and strive to make better beer.
I'm just a homebrewer / hobbyist, but watching your videos has helped give me a lot of good perspective on how what I do relates to the places that make the beers I love. Good stuff, all of the content is appreciated!
Thanks Jasper! When I saw your videos a year or so ago I bought an ultrasonic cleaner for my Homebrew carb stones. It was a simple jewelery one but works well! Thanks from a fellow Montanan!
Jasper, you have sure helped me out as I got my Brewery started at Front Royal Brewing Co. in Front Royal, VA. Thank you so much for all the hard work! Cheers!
Glad you are back, Jasper! I've been studying about beer and homebrewing for the last 2 years. I am also working on a masters degree project and planning to have my own brewpub here in Brazil! Thank you for all your videos they have helped me a lot. Keep up the great content!
Yes. Love the videos. Thought you were done done after the second hiatus. We operate an itsy bitsy nano in OR. Have provided lots to aspire to. Love the attention to detail. Appreciate what NO other brewery will do. You've got another business in this you know.
Saw that you’re back and I thought it was a dream. Running a 7 bbl brewhouse right now, working towards a 15 bbl and loved seeing your ways of doing things commercially. Keep up the good work ! Cheers jasper.
This is pretty close to how we do it except we autoclave our stones in sterile bags and store them in the sterile bags until assembly. Then once the tank is built they get re sanitized with the tank sani process. Good lookin’ Jasper and thanks for all the info you put out there!
I've been watching youtube videos for so many years and this is the very first time I've left a comment. I'm a homebrewer but have learned so much from your videos and have been able to use some of it in my own brew shed here in Australia. Great to see you back posting new content, I think I was starting to wear out the tape on the previous videos especially the carbonation set! Looking forward to watching and re-watching the videos for anything i might have missed. Slainte
Hey Jasper, it's really great to see you back online! I've enjoy all of your videos and it helps me a lot. Looking forward to see some hoping techniques in the future (hop back, hop gun/rocket, dry hop, whirlpool, etc.)
Welcome back Jasper! I want to thank you for your videos. They have been really helpfull for the growth of our brewery, and also for the improvement of our procesess and our final products. Again thank you very much, keep Up the good job and greetings from southern Chile. Come see us sometime! Cheers!
Hey, Jasper! First of all thank you very much for the videos. I own a small brewery in Brasil and your videos helped me a lot. It would be a great step up in your videos if you could tell the dilution you use in those caustic and acid solutions (v/v would be the best as it would not depend on the brand and starting dilution). I always find the information I'm looking for in other sources but this would make your videos more helpful for the novice. Once again, thank you very much for the effort you put in these videos. They are a great source of knowledge for a lot of brewers around the world. PS. come to Brasil! I would love to be your host here!
exciting stuff glad to see you back on your channel, Im at the home brew level (I have a small blichman stone - its best gadget in my toolbox!) I wanted you to know I really enjoy seeing these as I have that nano brewery dream in the back of my mind
Hello, so glad you're back. I love the idea of the ultrasonic cleaner. Unfortunately my carbstones can't be dissassembled. Therefore they won't fit. May have to buy a different type when the time comes. What type of acid solution do you store your card stones in after cleaning?
How about some recipe formulation videos ! what do you use for a pilot system? How do you decide on putting that beer into full production after brewing on a pilot system taste, cost, profit, ingredients etc thanks for videos cheers🍻🍻
Thanks for your video, this was my first time watching your videos so I’ve got some catching up to do. One thing is I’m new to home brewing but using similar equipment but on a small scale such as the SS Brewtech 1/2 bbl unitank sonthis stuff is still helpful but being new the chemicals used for cleaning is new to me so some names or better descriptions (names) of the ultrasonic cleaning and acid storage solutions would be a benefit also. I’m in Australia so the names maybe different but usually I can find the equivalent products. Cheers
Hello Jasper, I just wanted to ask what the brand of your brite tanks, transfer hoses and pumps are. Your equipment looks great! - Marc from the Philippines
Thanks Jasper. Do you have a recommendation for a method to clean the carb stone until I can get onr of those fancy devices. We are just getting started with our brewery, and I will put that device on the list of things to get, but for now I need a more less tech way. Does boiling in water work?
Still rig up a way to flush hot water through the stone. Soak in hot caustic then flush with water again then soak in acid bath.. Dont buy an over expensive stone until you get a ultrasonic cleaner. Hope this helps.
Great content as always! I am curious, did you consider natural carbonation via spunding (rather than forced via the carb stone) when starting your brewery?
Random water question: Do you run treated water across the board for cleaning, CIP? DI, carbon polisher, RO. I'm trying to figure where untreated city water ends in the brewhouse (apartment lol). Given scale buildup, unwanted ionic effect on CIP and cleaner conductivity, my answer is treated on everything coming in contact with product. Run water tank heater on the treated side, etc. Thanks
Jasper. Another great and useful video. Id like to invite you and all probrewers here to join the US Beer and Brewing Professionals Facebook page for some great interactive discussions. Thanks again. Rich
Hey jasper! Quick question. In my 7 bbl brewhouse, we have an on demand hot water heater along with our HLT of course. Our hose water comes out of the on demand hot water heater @140-145 degrees, and have entertained the idea of rewiring the thermostat in it to reach temps like 185. How do you achieve your high temp hose water?
Use commercial controllers like this: www.supplyhouse.com/Rinnai-MCC-91-2W-Commercial-Controller-for-LS-Series?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5uG1jaOT4AIVSD0MCh1lNgjOEAQYASABEgJ5s_D_BwE
Question 2: Does anyone know if the sound emitted from ultrasonic cleaners is harmful to pets? I brew in my apartment and am wondering if my cat would be at risk running one of these 20kHz+.
Thank you for coming back!!!!

You are killing the videos man! You’re doing it right. Content volume over fancy production quality.
Thanks Blair! I use my cell phone for all the videos..content is king, cheers

When you were removing the stone from the brite tank, I had no idea you were using slo-mo, and I was thinking, "man, this guy's got a steady hand!"
He's back! We just started a brewpub and these videos have been a great help. Thanks!

Thanks, I've always been a fan of nitric/phosphoric acid blends. 5 stars acid #5 is a common commercial example. Cheers
Welcome back! I love these videos.
Nice to see you back Jasper!

Can we see what the carb stone looked like after the ultrasonic cleaning?
Jasper, do you will upload a video of canning line complete? sorry my english
Your videos helped me get my brewery started. AuthorMead.com. It's not beer, but uses similar principles. Thank you! Cheers.
Great job on the video and awsome to see youre doing them again. Do you use an adjustable spunding valve? that would be another great video.
Hello Jasper, I just wanted to ask what the brand of your brite tanks, transfer hoses and pumps are. Your equipment looks great! - Marc from the Philippines
Where are you at in the philippines Marc?
Lost some hair in the process haha. Nice video.
gr8 info .....
What's the typical lifespan of a carb stone?
Love the content as a home brewer! Where can I find a potable hot rated hose like the red one in your video?
Love the videos. how often do you recommend cleaning the stone. Cheers
I'll clean them everytime I empty the BBT, cheers!
Thanks
What would be the effects with the carbonating stone if it was left in a caustic solution long term? Would this wreck the carbonating stone?
I love brewing cleaning not so much.

@@brewerylife3596 Thanks Jasper! I will implement this method! I really appreciate it.
Great content as always! I am curious, did you consider natural carbonation via spunding (rather than forced via the carb stone) when starting your brewery?
I naturally carbonate 75% of my vols then force the last 25%. Its the best way to nail consistent vols everytime for me. Happy carbonating, cheers
@@brewerylife3596 Cheers! Appreciate you taking the time to reply sir!

Hi, just saw this and have applied to join. Cheers!

Brewery Life I have 2 on demand water heaters both Bosch brand. Any suggestions for Bosch?
