They (the Israeli government) did a lot of harm to Muslims, such as forcing them out of their homes, killing them, and hurting them, and yet, you'd fly with Muslim airlines. Qatar, emirates, and Saudia. It sure is confusing. It seems that you support them. You may private this comment if you'd like. But really, think over it. Anyway. I don't hate you. Bye
Just flew Saudia business Hyd to Barcelona & back. The crew made friends with my 5 yr old and even took him on a cockpit tour. We had the same crew on 3 of our 4 flights and they remembered us, welcoming us with delighted smiles and hugs for my son. The attendants even offered to help him eat his meals so we could relax and enjoy ours. They don't just reserve the warmth and first name basis service only for reviewers, what you see in this video is what every passenger gets in our experience.
I'm astonished that you liked Saudia, especially the aircraft used for the HYD route which is A330. Their A330 is the worst of their fleets. they are not equipped with proper IFE features and the seats are old.
As a Saudia premium flight attendant, I’m so happy for this extremely high improvement that we reached in these 5 years, it was not easy at al!! We had harsh trainings to reach this level, we still have more and more to improve. Also I’m so proud of my colleagues onboard they went extra mile for the service and hospitality!
The training is one thing, but being friendly is a part of human nature, and not something that can be trained (without looking fake). The crew on this flight looked happy and seemed very friendly - so well done to everyone for having such a great product and a great crew :)
I recently travelled through saudi airline. It was my first experience and its totally fantastic.. Your team were very friendly. I'll definitely travel through your airline....and your trainings paid off ❤️
I worked for Saudia in the late 80th and I remember a chef in 1st class. The only movie we showed was'20000 Leagues under the sea' and, I think, 'Black Beauty'. I flew with mostly Caanadian crew and I am German. Saudia will always have a special place in my heart.
Maybe improve your nations shocking womens, LGBTQ+, workers, political rights, and the rest of the world will take you seriously. Until then, the average person will never fly Saudia

Just came back to Amsterdam from Dubai with Saudia yesterday. It was my first ever Business Class trip and they certainly set a high bar! Such a great airline!
I've travelled with Saudia Airlines since 1984. My dad worked for the royal aircraft in Jeddah and we got free trickets regularly. I can truly say the improvement has been great!

My mother-in-law flew with Saudia from Manila to London. It was very easy to book online and all the assistance that we requested during the booking was fulfilled at Manila, Jeddah and at Heathrow. She was impressed and the food was good. And what's more, it was cheap even when booking a week in advance.
As soon as I saw “Amsterdam” after the title “Inside Saudia Airlines,” I knew it was going to be good. Exactly what I commented to one of the Saudia crew, above. A friendly nature that is genuine is not something that can be trained without it looking fake - this crew were genuinely friendly and happy and that helps to make a long flight so pleasant.
As a Saudi myself I am extremely happy that Saudia has become way way better than it was 10 years, a huge improvement and as a person who lives in Jeddah, the new king Abdulaziz airport is such a massive relief from the old chaotic airport which was basically a damn bus station! Btw Josh I read something interesting about the plan for King Abdulaziz international airport, the current new south terminal won’t be the only one, there’s also going to be 2 more terminals, one in the center of the tarmac and one north terminal that will be accessed by highway so it’s a long drive to it. Once fully complete the whole airport can hold upwards of like I dunno maybe 20m-40m passengers, that’s just a wolf guess and I have no idea how much it will hold, but still it’s a huge relief that there’s a new and clean airport with friendly staff that help when someone needs it instead of an old smelly airport with no help whatsoever that was opened up in 1977!

That's because Qatar Airways and Emirates have very strict and perfectionist mindsets , and if they find out that anything unclean or messy is recorded on the flight , the flight attendants in that flight will probably get severe consequences , and might even end losing their job , and as you know many flight attendants come from hardships , so losing a job as important as this might end up being catastrophical for them. Josh, thank you for making these videos! I have not had a vacation in years but its nice to see your videos and realize how some of the international airlines have such a wonderful service. Best greetings from Irving, Texas USA
Wow! I used to travel on Saudia 10 years ago, what a transformation, the flights were miserable with appalling service and very ordinary food. Jeddah airport also to used to be a terrible experience. Thanks for the video Josh
I really liked this post indeed. When I made my first trip to the Philippines I went with Saudi Airlines, economy. But for my other trips I’ve done Business Class, absolutely fantastic experience and the airline staff have always been so kind and generous. I’m moving to the Philippines in September 2023 and will being experiencing First class for that final trip out from England. Cheers Chap 👍
Yeah indeed, Saudi Airlines has come a long way in the last 5 years, both in service and in catering. The new airport in Jeddah is very nice also the domestic terminal, terminal 5 in Riyadh is very pleasant to be in. They still have some work to do in the international terminal in Riyadh.
T3 & T4 opening up soon in Riyadh which will enhance passenger experience, with T1 & T2 closing for renovations!!!Also there's a new airport planned in Riyadh, let's see what the future holds!!!
I am so happy to see this video about Saudi Airlines. Really, there are a huge differences in the quality of services from the past. Especially, when the crews are content, that means you will receive a perfect services. Next time you have to visit KSA ❤
Thanks for the video, Josh! Exactly my same experience flying SV on the new route this summer BCN-JED-BKK. Great crews all along, great food... I loved the fact that it was Dine on Demand concept. My only complaint for the whole trip was the cold in the lounge, they like to keep it very low, too much light and the constant announcements of flights both in Arabic and English that made resting very difficult. All in all a great flight that I will repeat soon.
Incredible review, thank you Josh for reviewing Saudia, have been waiting for you to try Saudia's improved product!!!Hope Saudia together with RIA will give a tough time to the other Gulf carriers in the future soon!!!
Actually, Saudi Arabia has improved so much in such a short time, not only in terms of its airlines only but in every aspect such as education and health, and so on. I'm so proud to be a Saudi citizen
Wow! So nice to see the marked improvement in both hard and soft products. I always expected the national airline of such a wealthy country would be like this. There are often great biz class deals flying internationally with Saudia. Thanks to this video, I'm no longer hesitant to give them a try.
I always fly with saudia from and to Europe, and the special thing about them is that the crew are always friendly and welcoming which I like the most. lunch and dinner are always nice but breakfast is my problem, I hope they Improve on that =)
Btw Josh just to tell that the old aircraft u were on with the old cabin, it’s still in use by Saudia I remember being on an a330 business class a couple months ago from Amman-Jeddah and the business was really old, the freakin IFE wasn’t working and I was like yeah the airline should really get update the cabins of the old aircraft in their fleet, could prove useful for the future
What a fabulous experience! I just loved the crew! They had the most charming joyousness. I wish I had been on that flight with those wonderful people. Great video, Josh!❤
Crew was really nice and polite but Im afraid they were not Saudi womans. In SA womans are property of their husband or the family their born to. They are not allowed show their self in public without the face cover scarf.

As for me my first Airline I have joined in 1990's, those days we serve lovely food specially lobster thermidor, beef stroganoff, Hammour fish with safron sauce and breeded prawns as service in FC. also we had lovely crew with multi national. It is very nice to see your beautifull and impressive comment with Saudia. All the very best please keep it up and go with globel airline.
Thanks a lot Josh for this lovely video, I am highly impressed with the new Saudia and their fantastic cabin attendants are so astonishing and service oriented,I am so happy you enjoyed your flight
Saudia is getting a really great airline, I tried this flight in the opposite direction, from Jeddah to Amsterdam and I had the same experiences. The seats inside the Dreamliner are so comfortable, the meals are great and tasty and the crews are really lovely. I think there is no reason anymore to avoid Saudia :)
Some of the cabin crews tried to take selfies of me i was very uncomfortable with that but yeah their food was amazing and the stuff was very friendly, i flew to mecca from male
Thanks for another great vid Josh! You have such a great energy - no wonder the crew is so nice to you! I used to live in Saudi Arabia in the mid-90s and flew Saudia often. It has IMPROVED a lot - as you have mentioned! Fun for me to see your adventures. thanks!
Going to Philippines next year and Saudia Airlines is offering very cheap flights compared to other airlines in fact £200 cheaper. I've not really heard of them. So found this very interesting and useful.
I had the privilege of flying Saudi Airlines business class from Riyadh to Heathrow on an overnight flight this past week. One of the best business class experiences I've had in a lifetime of flying. The 777 had a 1-2-1 configuration; the seat was one of the most comfortable, generous seats I've traveled in. Soft leather, and pillow soft seat. The on-board staff were on top of their game. Even though nearly all the passengers slept during the flight, the staff regularly circulated up and down the aisles, attentive to any need that might arise. Breakfast was served on-demand; I ordered mine about 90 minutes before landing. The on-board chef prepared my eggs to order, and stopped by to ask how I enjoyed the dish - it was amazing. Can't recommend Saudi Airlines more highly - the absence of alcohol, replaced by terrific smoothies and juices, was not missed and more than made up for by the incredible service, food and seats!
I have flown Saudia a couple of years ago. The interactive crew and quality food are the improvements I see and I am really looking forward to fly with them in the future 👍
15:30 There’s no way such a long flight business class return for €400, even economy class flight costs way more than that Probably Saudi airlines gave deep discounted ticket to Josh.
Very informative and entertaining content Josh! Keep up the amazing work! Well Done! It is very interesting to see how Saudia has changed so much over the years...
As always Josh you do an excellent job of narrating the flight. Just so much fun to fly with you even though I don't fly. Took one flight and it wasn't good. So Im not a fan of flying but admire those who enjoy that way of travel. Gets you there faster. Again love flying with you. ❤
We had Great experience in business class in KLM airlines from LA to Amsterdam. Connecting to France. Great staff and customer service. A happy crew and welcoming service is pretty impressive.
It doesn't have the quirks and glamour of an Emirates but they have one of the best service that I've ever experience. I flew economy btw and I felt at home.
My first trip with Saudi airline was in 1977. It was one of my first work trips We were a team that had a one-year contract ahead of us in Saudi Arabia So we wanted to have one last "little party" We had been suggested to pass the Tax-free shop before we boarded the flight. maybe not quite so well behaved, but we were young. The flight attendants served us soft drinks and ice cream. This was probably not the most intelligent thing I have done during my career. The cabin staff probably had a lot of patience with us.
To be honest As a Saudi. Saudi Airline fouces so much on business and first class sometime economy but only at international flights epically coming from western countries. But they need more. Improvement on local flights and Arab countries.
I love your videos 😍 Especially that guy's expression shut up and eat 😄 So well explained and detailed! It is so good to know they have changed so much in the last few years. I was confused if I should take Saudia or not. I would love to travel with them next month ☺️
Batch91 here. Forever grateful to Saudia Airlines for the best 16 years of my life! I miss the passengers, the cockpit crew, cabin crew, layovers and all the arabic food! Thank you Saudi Arabia for the opportunity to be in your country for 16 years!!!!!!!❤
Flew them from FRA to BKK this summer in Eco. I have to say i was sceptical at first but they really imperessed me with their service. There even is an amenety-kit in Eco. There was however one downside as we had a 5h delay due to an unschduled stop in Riadh that was quite akward
There’s was another improvement in the built in tv this feature was only in domestic but hopefully its rolls out on all flights The new tv WAS PERFECT looks much better than the old one
Hi I'm from Australia and didn't know you were born here what a lovely surprise. Saudi airlines look beautiful lovely food but would love to know what economy is like on long haul flights. 🇦🇺
We travelled through Jeddah to Jazan many times in 2012-13. So terrible. Flights would depart without posting on the boards. You certainly had to keep your whits about and be careful when moving between terminals. The flights were good though and attendants were professional.
Another amazing video as always. Being unable to travel, I live all my travel dreams through you! Haha :) Thanks for always making my Saturday breakfast enjoyable Josh. Huge fan :)
Flew a return trip on Saudia from Germany to Malaysia back in Summer, and though I think Saudia isn't a bad airline, there are definitely still points that threw me off a bit, which you will definitely feel if you fly in economy. Their crew are definitely their biggest plus point, most of them very friendly and accommodating. Food is pretty good and their seats are comfortable. But Jeddah airport, though modern in architecture, is still lacking in a lot of ways, food options are very limited and not very tasty either, you'll get lucky if the Wi-Fi works, and there really isn't much to do during a layover (and Saudia often has very long layovers). Thier IFE was also often broken, especially on their 787-9. We kept getting thrown out mid-movie, and this happened both on the onward and return journey, 2 months apart from each other. I would fly them again, but only if the fare was significantly cheaper than the other options (Singapore, Qatar and Emirates).

As a Saudi myself.. I am so proud that our National carrier is doing so well. It feels good knowing our airline is representing our nations so proudly with grace, elegance and hospitality 🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦❤️❤️❤️
@@impurplestar I don’t know about others but I see everyone in my country as a Saudi wherever they are from… it’s funny how most western nations will try to attack middle eastern gulf countries by using “ well they are expedites who built your country “ yet they forget for example like the USA and many European nations for example, was built on the back of slavery and immigrants. So stop the hypocrisy…. Mind you- they were forced into slavery, and not to mention indigenous land being forcibly stolen. So simmer down.. kk
Great Video again, Josh! I went on the same route on 25th Aug this year with Saudia to DXB and you are right, they are great!
Josh, thank you for making these videos! I have not had a vacation in years but its nice to see your videos and realize how some of the international airlines have such a wonderful service. Best greetings from Irving, Texas USA
Nice to see the improvements Saudia made. Food looked great and the staff were pleasant!
Josh appreciate your focus on the overall travel experience for travelers. makes us all much more informed. Thanks
Happy to see countries take pride in their airlines and airports 😊
Yeah indeed, Saudi Airlines has come a long way in the last 5 years, both in service and in catering. The new airport in Jeddah is very nice also the domestic terminal, terminal 5 in Riyadh is very pleasant to be in. They still have some work to do in the international terminal in Riyadh.
Unfortunately the recliners in Jeddah terminal are mere plastic without any comfort😞
How good to see that Saudia improved so much. What a great experience you had, thanks for showing us!
It is a pleasure to hear that Saudi airlines had improved that much, and btw I am living in Jeddah 🇸🇦❤️🇪🇬
عايز سبوبه😂
And the boarding music doesn’t get old I love it! Gives u a feeling that you’re actually in the desert kingdom
You are a very polite and professional person .... Great respect
@Europe is better than the US How can someone with your name even count as a valid question & comment?
lmao
@Europe is better than the US
Stfu racist
@Europe is better than the US the US is in Europe? Wow
You r big liar
@@moralitymayor9764 I don’t need to lie about it, Im not looking to impress anyone actually. Lmao Chill
@12:47 She's amazing did you see that turbulence she was having to deal with props to her.
@@pekkajohannesvirkkula7473 it’s always great to see someone who’s ignorant and arrogant about their ignorance lol
@@pekkajohannesvirkkula7473 thats quite an ignorant way of putting it
Saudi have changed in the past 5 years, really what's wrong with you sir?

Hi linda , i am from Saudi Arabia
Enjoyed your great review of your Saudi Airline flight-in which you compared them to their service & aircraft from 5 yrs ago. Thanks. -a vicarious traveller. Love your trips!! ❤
schönes video.ich fliege im april mit saudia zum ersten mal.danke für die eindrücke.
The cabin crew were really friendly and genuinely cared. Wish more airlines were like that. Well done Saudi Airlines.
Its the biggest surprise...i loved the food and the FAs were nicer than the other major airlines.
Most of the crew of saudi airlines are now Marocaine that is Why the service is go much higher then in the past. Love it ❤
Is that the same as Moroccan?
@@HansDelbruck53s just in frensh
It looks fantastic. What is striking is how proud the staff is of their airline. Well done Saudia Airlines.
Thanks a lot Josh for this lovely video, I am highly impressed with the new Saudia and their fantastic cabin attendants are so astonishing and service oriented,I am so happy you enjoyed your flight
The chef was a great idea, you must have noticed a massive improvement.
True man they are cheap they look fine but Saudi’s is little different and there is some hesitation
The crew seemed very kind !
15:30 There’s no way such a long flight business class return for €400, even economy class flight costs way more than that
Probably Saudi airlines gave deep discounted ticket to Josh.
Great review Josh . Saudia looked very impressive to fly with.
The food and hospitality on Saudi Airlines was A+ loved the whole experience.
انا من المملكة العربية السعودية و سعيدة جداً للمقطع الجميل و كل تفاصيل المقطع شكراً لك ❤🇸🇦🥰

The moral of the story: keep doing reviews. That's how you make a difference. Much love.
MBS is doing a great job taking the country in a new direction. I am sure this is his new vision.
MBS is no saint.
Am in love with our background track on board that music is soooo relaxing
Very informative and entertaining content Josh! Keep up the amazing work! Well Done! It is very interesting to see how Saudia has changed so much over the years...
As always Josh you do an excellent job of narrating the flight. Just so much fun to fly with you even though I don't fly. Took one flight and it wasn't good. So Im not a fan of flying but admire those who enjoy that way of travel. Gets you there faster. Again love flying with you. ❤
I think this might just be one of your best flights of 2022.
Great content as always.
Keep it up.
We had Great experience in business class in KLM airlines from LA to Amsterdam. Connecting to France. Great staff and customer service. A happy crew and welcoming service is pretty impressive.
Looks like what every airline should aspire to be like 👍
There are lots of other airlines Josh has reviewed that should take notes! Well done!
Ye I have to agree its an insane change in such a short time, think Etihad also operates 787-10
Etihad does operate the 787 -10. Thta is the aircraft i flew on in August. Routing was MAN - AUH - BKK.
I used to travel a lot, and Schiphol used to be my favorite hub to change flights. Thanks for showing it!
It doesn't have the quirks and glamour of an Emirates but they have one of the best service that I've ever experience. I flew economy btw and I felt at home.
The new terminal is so beautiful.
I am Sri Lankan 🇱🇰 my experience with Saudia and Kuwait airways was very good
Looking forward to fly again with saudia
Great to see! I’ll be doing the LAX-JED-DXB version of this soon. Does a three hour layover give me enough time to check out the lounge at all?
To be honest As a Saudi. Saudi Airline fouces so much on business and first class sometime economy but only at international flights epically coming from western countries. But they need more. Improvement on local flights and Arab countries.
I love your videos 😍 Especially that guy's expression shut up and eat 😄
So well explained and detailed!
There’s was another improvement in the built in tv this feature was only in domestic but hopefully its rolls out on all flights
The new tv WAS PERFECT looks much better than the old one
The 5h delay is a good thing btw its how saudia is good at detecting problems
I’m a saudi btw
very happy that you liked it👍🌹
Wow I never know there’s an airplane service experience where you can stay in business class without actually flying
We appreciate all of your reviews!
Hi I'm from Australia and didn't know you were born here what a lovely surprise. Saudi airlines look beautiful lovely food but would love to know what economy is like on long haul flights. 🇦🇺
The economy class in my opinion is at the same level as Qatar airways and Emirates
Huge fan :)
I'm Saudi Arabian so I'm happy u like it
Flew a return trip on Saudia from Germany to Malaysia back in Summer, and though I think Saudia isn't a bad airline, there are definitely still points that threw me off a bit, which you will definitely feel if you fly in economy.
I just came back from Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabian is the best Airline ever. Jeddah has the most beautiful airport ever. 🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦❤️❤️❤️
