Great informative video that even the kids can watch. I really like the comments on the light spectrum as I believe it's important to understand where each headlight falls within this standard. I would have liked to hear the advantages/disadvantages of the light spectrums, but understand this video was more about the properties of each type of lighting system.
Hi!! I know this video is from 4 years ago but I would like to know which are the best 7” lights for a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK? I have seen many options but I can't decide. I like Morimoto but I think it is a bit expensive.
You can choose your color but go with the 5k color is best. The higher the color the less light you see on the road. So go with 5k on Led's and you won't be disappointed. Plus you have any color besides white or yellowish you get a fix it ticket in all states
Bright white and yellow-ish light will definitely be easier on the eyes than the darker blue or purple tones you sometimes get out of an HID, in my opinion. Thanks for watching! -Zach
Missouri the only disallowed color for headlights is red, as no red lights can be visible forward unless you are a school bus or emergency vehicle. So your information is false.
I have the Oracle LED kit in my 2021 JL and I get flashed at 2x when I go out at night because people think I have my brights on when I don’t... It is very annoying and the kit was $160 which pisses me off even more.
@@extremeterrain you were exactly right. It’s very surprising how much I had to adjust them since the Jeep was only 10 days old and I was super careful during the install.
You should have had a set baseline with the stock headlights instead of upgrading to the KC lights. Show WHY you desperately need to upgrade your headlamps as soon as possible.

I'm happy to see a site that actually shows you the beam pattern, which is very important. I know of only one other site that does this.
I seen a jeep that had amber colored lights...very cool and pretty.

The answer is easy! Buy the set that burns the retinas out of oncoming drivers.
To be fair, if you aim your headlights properly you shouldn't be blinding anyone on the roads. 🙂 -Zach
PLEASE, pass this on to all of the geniuses in Idaho.
Step 1 - Buy KC Hilites LED Headlights
Step 2 - Enjoy
Hard to beat KC! Thanks for watching, Todd! -Zach

Which lights are bright but don't blind oncoming drivers?
All if you set them up correctly.
Why didn’t u show how to install the last two sets of lights lol?

You may want to check how your headlights are aimed. Even on low beams, if they're angled up too high you could be blinding oncoming drivers. -Zach

i think anyone who already has a wrangler (aka anyone watching this video in the first place???) would already know how bad the factory lights are
Great video thsnk yiu
Thanks for watching! -Zach
Apik cak, indonesian
No how to in this video, just talks about different lights.
Jeep + LED headlights = me high beaming you! You're too bright and too high!
When aimed properly this shouldn't be an issue. 😅 -Zach
