I made angel wings out of clay for my Angel I made. The body was a glass light shade, her head was a clear tree ornament I had glittered up on the inside of the ball. It fits perfectly in the hole that goes over the light bulb. I shaped the clay into wings, spread a bit of glue on the wings, laid it down( head held by something) taped the wings on two ways until it dried ( glue) over night then took the tape so the clay dried completely. Added decorations and sold it at our church bazaar. You are an inspiration for me to try more things with clay. Your pieces were beautiful and I thank you for teaching us how and what to do.

Always get inspired by you! The round one you did could become a great scented piece. Once the clay is dry, rub on a scented oil, don’t paint or top coat it, then use the embroidery thread to decorate!

Love these ideas. I use Das clay for my projects and recommend freezer paper instead of baking paper. It has a glossy surface on one side and easy to move small pieces around to dry. Better to turn over during drying to ensure it stays flat and dries evenly. 😊

Thank you, yes freezer paper is great, we don’t have it here in the UK quite the same as places like the US, the baking paper I have is fairly waxy, but yes great to use whatever anyone is comfortable with, my preference is my tiles, enjoy your projects 😊❤️
