My local Lowe's has the polly, I snagged one from the "this plant needs love" section. I've paired it with a smaller polly from a local specialized store. From them lve purchased an alocasia dragon scale. From another greenhouse store, ice purchased an azlanii. From etsy I've gotten a cuprea, and from a small garden center I bought a black velvet for under $20. The most expensive was $35 and it was a 6".
I have a macrorriza variegata and I have cero idea about the care, my mom gifted to me 🥲 and I got a black velvet and the leaves are curling idk if is shock or what , good lighting, good humidity, good watering… no clue

Wonderful "tentcles" in the right one!
After 1.5 years My Bambino is growing to be a beast. I would call it a small Alocasia
i found black velvet and silver dragon at home depot
They have a huge indoor plant section! But sometimes you have to cross the whole store to find it 😅
I got my silver dragon at Walmart.
Walmart is a great place for plants. They often even have harder to find plants like the Baltic Blue Pothos and the Global Green

The Black Velvet is so finicky... Every time I see one in a store is all dried up... You can try keep the soil almost moist most of the time
