Most of you watching may or may not already know this, but here at CARiD.com we love lifted trucks! And in this video Greg is back in the shop with our Chevy Silverado 2500 project truck. But this is no normal product review. Greg has one mission, and one goal in mind. To take our Chevy 2500 to new heights by installing Readylifts insane 8-inch lift kit.
If you’re a 4x4 truck owner, you will probably agree with us. There is no exception for a lifted four-wheel drive truck. So, when we first rolled our Chevy Silverado 2500 into the shop we always knew that a serious lift was a modification that this truck needed, but the question was how high should we go? Well we reached out to our friends over at Readylift to see if they could help us decide. And once Greg found out about their incredibly well engineered 8-inch kit, it was an easy decision.
In this video your going to watch Greg install this amazing Readylift 8-inch lift kit step by step, showing you every single nut a bolt so even you can tackle a project like this all on your own. But this video isn’t only about the Readylift lift kit, Greg is doing a full suspension overhaul on our 2500. Including a brand-new set of Fox 2.0 performance series shocks at all four corners. But of course, when it’s all said and done, to complete the entire package you need the right set of wheels and tires. So, to go along with our insane new lift height, we had to stay consistent with our wheels by installing a set of Hostile 24x14 inch wheel with 37-inch mud terrain tires!
So, if your shopping for the perfect lift for your own truck, or just want to check out some of the great builds that Greg is creating in the CARiD.com shop, you need to check out this video. And as always all these great products can be found at CARiD.com so you can start building your own dream truck.

I think a smaller wheel with bigger sneakers would fill the gap better and give you more lift. Maybe a 10"?

If I have a 6 3/4 lift for 4wd 1500 Silverado 2015, can I add the differential drop bracket? My turning radius is terrible with the RC kit.

I have a 6" Readylift on my 2016 Duramax and I'm getting a vibration in 4 High in my front end, it's the driveshaft. Not sure if I just need to have it lengthen or go to a double CV style, you can see the front boot is definitely stretched have you guys had any issued?
    Thanks

Doesn't look too bad if you have a 2 post lift. Doing this on the ground would suck
