Do you actually cured yourself of this and don’t experience pain anymore? I’ve been dealing with this on and off for about two years now…. I admit, up until recently I was let consistent with doing my PT exercises or stretches. I had hoped enough time away from activities + a little pt exercises thrown in here and there would fix this up… clearly I was wrong. I hope that with consistency and a routine I can finally kick this thing in the butt…
It’s relieving to read about other people having success with this video and getting to live a pain free life. I want to go back to lifting weights so badly!

Brilliant video, as a guy who has been suffering from this for a long time, noted that 'rest and do nothing' is both impossible and doesn't work, and often tried to do too much too soon, this is going to be my go to guide now. Thanks for putting such a comprehensive video together. Doctor this week just told me rest for another 3 months, but I'm going with your approach :)

I've had medial elbow tendinopathy for over a month from lifting. From what I've heard, recovery time can be pretty long (between 6 months and one year, even longer). It would be nice to talk about it in your videos because at first I thought it would be gone in a few weeks. That being said, great video with tons of useful info !

God bless the physical therapy industry. If it wasn't for you guys and especially in my case him, I'd never have been able to continue my career as a competitive weightlifter.

Now, thanks to your video, I see how this too-much too-fast error has injured other tendons in my body. You video's specific, applicable wisdom gives me a new hope that I can navigate the many adjustment-choices necessary to make my essential physical-maintenance workouts more conducive to recovery, and less likely to cause another too-much too-fast injury.

This is a great video, super informative and well structured. 2 weeks ago i fell backwards on my hands while skateboarding and i felt my left elbow kind of not taking it well. It was not broked, coz i was able to flex and extend it imediatelly afterwards, but the next day the movements were restricted. The xray showed nothing is broken, but the doctor was kind of a bad guy and kicked me out of the cabinet saying i am alright. Now my ragne of motion is back to normal, but i feel pain after training.with weights. I am gonna give a week or two of rest and start wiith the rehab exercises from the vid and little by little will go back to my normal training sessions. Thanx a lot for this video! Peace!

Many thanks! Great video--a full range of exercises, clearly presented.
My "golfer's elbow" came from playing guitar, from overworking my left hand fingering chords. I got over-enthusiastic and started playing many hours a day but didn't work up to it gradually.
I'm going to give this program a try. Some of the exercises I recognize from my tennis elbow rehab (which did come from playing tennis).

Great educational video. I would add that I got this as a drummer on tour, being in a vehicle all day didn't seem to help. I usually have a very regular training routine, so sitting all day in a car felt terrible, and my arms would feel stiff even after warming up before performing.

  • @pally_wally

I play 60+ rounds of golf per year and a couple of years ago I developed golfers elbow which I naturally attributed to....golfing!!!
After trying many different remedies (including the ones in this video) it just wasn't going away. Eventually I realized that the condition was being caused by a stapler I was using at work that I was continually hammering on as it was getting old and wasn't able to handle the paper load. I wasn't prepared to part with "my trusty old tool".
Finally one day I got a new stapler that was super easy to use and could handle the volume of paper I was subjecting it to.
A few weeks after I ditched the old stapler for the new and super easy one the golfers elbow went away.
I was blown away that I didn't realize the load I was putting on my elbow from using the old stapler was exactly what was causing the condition, especially because I attributed it to the golfing.
The point is, think outside the box when diagnosing the condition and try your best to address the cause rather than knee jerk treating the symptoms.

From start to finish this video was a wealth of information.
About 2 years ago I was having an awesome workout and at the end I decided to do some easy bar curls to finish things off. I could say they were nothing close to easy and I flared up my left inner elbow so bad the next week I lost 40 lbs on my bench. Never again.
My left shoulder also gives me problems with squats. I have a hard time getting it back under the bar and releasing hurts even worse. There is also this snapping sting that happens after heavy upper body or pulling exercises. Afterwards the prone angel progression is unbelievably painful.
I've had these problems with my elbow and shoulders for quite some time and I've come to the conclusion the techniques you're showing in this video are going to be a way of life if I want to start moving towards being pain free.

Even the smallest of loads can unexpectedly cause my pain to flare up. I've completely cut weights out of my routine but still seem to have pain in my elbow and forearms. Thoughts on how to progress? What do you call medial epicondyle pain that isn't in the forearm, but instead is in the biceps area, just above the epicondyleM? My pain isn't in the forearm muscles or tendons, it is in the tendon ABOVE the elbow, in the bicep.
