Bilstein 5100s shocks will also give you a lift without any spacer. Plus your stock shocks are probably blown by now.
Did this to my dad 07 titan just Bilstein shocks all around no spacers needed. And it leveled his front up with the rear. Still keeping the factory springs.
Ya the Rancho are OEM for the 2013 pro4x. Suprised me when I had mine done
I was able to replace the front struts on my "05 Titan and '2010 Armada without disconnecting any suspension components. Not sure about Gen2 Titans.
Had the same problem with getting the balljoint loose. Kept banging it for 2 days. Finally, it came loose. 2005 titan
That ball joint tool was a life saver.
Good job and easy to understand….from sunny Arizona~~~
The play on the outter tie rod ball joint is normal you test it with it jacked up and wiggle tire back and fourth if it moves inside the knuckle like alot then it's bad
just a heads up...... be careful to use quality bolts, studs and nuts!!! They work perfectly and are cheap..... but so is the hardware..... I installed a set (not this one in your video) and didn't like the ride... so 6 months after I installed them I went to remove them and 2 of the 3 studs were snapped on both sides!! FYI I torqued them to 22 also so that wasn't the cause. the spacer was in perfect shape.... so check your hardware!
Thanks for the heads up, definitely will check them out.
Jesus that’s a lot of work. I have to do mine on a very busy street. 😞
😂. Sorry bud. You need a driveway or someone will hit you while driving
@11:00 -12:00 My new shock & 2.5” lift pad won’t allow the top knuckle to go back in bc the shock is pushing the lower A down. Jacking it only pushes the entire front end up but doesn’t compress the spring enough to bolt the top knuckle.
Try jacking it up at a farther point (closer to the brake rotor). Also try loosening the bolts for both control arms, and then retighten when you have everything connected.
Never take measure from floor because air pressure in the tire give you different measurements better use border rims top or bottom
Good idea
Don't mess with the RC end links, they are junk. Go with PRG or something similar.
too late, lol.
Did you encounter any issues with these spacer lift after so many miles?
The sway bar endlinks were the only thing.
@@rosstrittlerwhat about the sway bar links?
What year titan is this I’m getting a 2009 and I’m going to try to squeeze 3in spacers on. Do you think I can fit 35s on it
Mine is a 07. If you do run a 3in spacer, you definitely need extended upper control arms and extended sway bar endlinks. You might be able to squeeze 35's on that setup.
@@rosstrittler thanks a lot I hope my build looks good
35 should go
Ranchero are OEM on the Pro-4X.
On the early models they were part of the “off road” package, pro4x wasn’t introduced until 2008 or 2009, I think. I have an 05 “off road” package with the ranchos, they finally died this week, installing Bilstiens 5100 this weekend.
My 2017 Pro4X has Bilsteins for stock.
What size tire do you have on this truck?
They were metric size but i think they were somewhere better 33" and 32"
Hit the balljoint with your purse 😂 you smack the side of the knuckle with a big boy hammer and it breaks loose
It wouldn't man. Not even my purse would break it loose.
@@rosstrittler lol just busting your balls 🤣 thought it was funny
Is that a stock swaybar though?
Yes, stock swaybar
Thx bro- ( it’s not a car!)
After you put in your leveling kit, did your a arms hit your struts?
No, but they were close. If I'd went with a 3in or maybe even a 2.5in, they would touch.
Ok, mine are touching. It's affecting my braking. I ordered 2 to 4 inch lift upper a arms. They just arrived today. Also, clunks bad over bumps.
@user-jh4lh1mb7t I had the clunking over bumps and it ended up being the sway bar links, I got some rough country extended ones and it fixed the issue.
Hi bro..👋🏻
the name of the brand of the product..
so that I can search for it🙏🏻
It is unbranded lol. It was an eBay special.
What size tires?
I don't remember but they were a metric size and close to 33's.
Her bro get new headlight and the taillight
