18:30 a trick I learned put latex gloves on and then put those heavy duty gloves on over for wet stuff. Keeps hands dry but you'll get the glove wet
The hard part about doing work and videoing is the discipline it takes to consistently do it to get stages. The other thing is having people around you who are go-getters, but also understand that the video is part of the product and have patience.
I'm also a Window cleaner, and literally just got the keys july 5 for our house!! We have been working non stop my wife and I ever since..The struggle is real!!

@@LukeTheWindowCleaner yes, we had to replace the hot water tank immediately, it looked like it was going to explode! not to mention that it had leaked so bad that it had rotten wall beside it, giving ants a perfect place to make a nest(that was fun) LOL. But still glad I finally own my own house!

On rainy days, if a customer doesn't want exterior, we ask if they still want insides. Most of the times they do just to keep up with the schedule. And exterior gets done soon thereafter which they always appreciate.
Glad to see a new video you should do some videos on the house repairs or at least a garage update how you have your window cleaning equipment stored.

I used to be in the construction industry, every contractor was convinced they were they only one that knew anything, seems to be exactly the same in the window cleaning industry as well. Dad had a saying, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and thinks everybody else's stinks.

Luke and Reanna, Congrats on the new home! The best thing about your home, it is an investment - if you put quality into it like your window cleaning it will last a long time!
Also when using the Bucket on a Belt; we always have used the qt. size container to wet the mop > the bucket catches the excess and drips. Using this method has been very productive for us, our guys never have dried out hands from the soap exposure. We have been utilizing this method for 9 years now.
We also like how you and Reanna keep it real!

You guys are lucky. I've been door knocking and hanging flyers everyday for weeks and I'm lucky if I get 1 call a week. It's SUPER frustrating

I was beginning to think I was the only person that didn’t like the 2.0! The angle is so far off for me that it’s unusable. I tried using a round file and leveling the channel slot but it didn’t help. I tried it with my Steccone, Ettore, and an Unger channel and I couldn’t make it work. I went back to the Pivot Control handle and Steccone channels.

Luke i have a question for you and your wife. Its something that seems kind of out of place with me and the answeres that ive recieved recently seem to be a bit outrageous. Ive asked the guys at window cleaner resource and the answers have been basically i need to determine self worth. And that if i cant afford it then its not the right tool for me. Ive asked the question why is the Xero Silencer $200. My question to you is do you believe the Xero Silencer is worth the hefty price tag of $200. I could understand an $80 pouch. But $200 for a pouch?? What do you think your input would be great thanks guys!!

I hope Reanna hiccups goes away. If it doesn’t get it check out by a doctor. My brother had that happen to him last year, hiccups every minute didn’t couldn’t stop it for a week. Turn out it was a sign of a stroke, very rare kind of stroke. Wasn’t expecting anything like that because he was only 43 years old. Had no idea about the hiccups as a sign, so be careful hope you get to feeling better Reanna
Hi Luke and reanna good to see you back hope your house renovation goes well I just moved 3 weeks ago I know how busy all that gets especially when the previous owners literally haven't moved out then you have to help them get out before you can move in (true story ) still working hard by the looks of it hope it's paying off I need to get some more work not majorly but a little bit 😊

All my user squeegees are Wagtails. Using a locking tip is the way to go with them, Ettore blades too.

Things expensive... I wanna try one but I need to.. unscrew my ettore to get it to wag(fanning). and theres no flip. so its meh. want the silencer and excelerator 2.0. But, thats $260. And I want the 12in 14in as well.. So, plus xero poll with 3 extension polls to 12 feet.. IT"S $200. lol. But, the silencer is just the coolest concept I've seen, it's got a clip that holds the window.. wet? Or something. I duno it's like for window cleaning in a vacuum. lol.
That is how it works. You show someone that something doesn't work it works fine.
For me, when I tell someone it's easy, it messes up and doesn't look easy or doesn't work at all.

Idk...they are polyester so they dont get that hot I guess. I've worn other colors in the same shirt and didn't make that much of a difference

So do you still like the first accelerator? Just not the new one. I use the first one often. Personally I won't buy anything except new rubber, steel wool, and razor blades...anything I have to replinish, I got enough stuff to clean a window.
I hate chiggers!! Was in MO this past week-went to a house we used to own (out in the country) got out and walked around 10 minutes and got chiggers too!! VERY itchy
On the employee I recommend hiring culture...the right person (works hard, tells the truth-define your culture) and then train them.
On gutter cleaning I would drop that immediately!!
