    G’day mr and mrs LTW,
    I just want to commend you both for the quality of videos you put out. Up until a few days ago had no intention of making a window Cleaning video, but as it was to help out a fellow tradesman over there in the u.s I thought I would make a little effort. However, I certainly wouldn’t have the patience to be as prolific and slick with the production of the videos that you put out.
    Even after 25 years window cleaning, I’m amazed at The ideas other tradesman have to improve the way we work.
    Keep up the good work, your ideas and the fact you even bother to make these vids whilst your working is appreciated.

      Hi travis !
      Thank you very much, that's very kind of you to say. I'm sure you have a ton of tricks and tips to share with 25 years under your belt.
      I really appreciate the kind words.

      G’day Luke,
      I think window Cleaning lends itself to coming up with new ideas, or how to improve our tools.
      I’ve got a full cupboard of modded tools I’ve accumulated over the years, like every window cleaner I know, the only thing I throw out is a rubber, and that’s only when it completely perished with chasm sized nicks in it!
      I’ve seen a few of your vids now, and you look as if you do a reasonable amount of pole work, this mod may be useful to you

    The small detail squeegee is an inportant tool. I use a 4" in a basic stainless Ettore handle. The first function is as a high( or floor level) detail squeegee using a towel. Second, as a ledge detailer in hand or on my pole for low stuff. Third, as an extra handle for my 6", or 8" channels when needed. And finally to aid mopping mall or other inside smooth floors, it picks up mopping towels great too, a back saver. The blade in it usually is a reused cutdown blade. An inportant tool in my belt.

      Absolutely, we do the same thing with cutting old blades. I keep a coffee can of them in the back

    Great video guys.
    Just a heads up ....next time you do high pole work. Try two poles (one wets and the other dries), this way helps with the window from drying up and makes it a little easier and faster.
    Just a little hint.

    • @danielmann5427
      @danielmann5427 5 років тому

      That was my thought immediately. One person can wet and another squeegee. And then it becomes kinda fun to out perform one another. To try to keep up.

      Luke The Window Cleaner, cool! I look forward to hearing/seeing if it actually works, lol. I don’t own a ledger 🙃. But it’s a mod I’ve been planning on doing to all my handles that don’t quite fit the ettore locking cones I have on my poles.
      I’ve been well, thanks for asking 😊. Happily plodding along as a solo tech, with invaluable back-office & moral support from the Misses. Looks like you guys are doing good 😉. Take care!

    Hi guys I noticed that your not using the samurai boab yet one has become the spare in the back of your truck and wondered was there a reason for this ? Maybe I've missed it on a vid somewhere plus they stopped selling it at my local place and I smell conspiracy my tin foil hats a tingling 😁

    • @LukeTheWindowCleaner
      @LukeTheWindowCleaner  6 років тому

      No conspiracy. We do like the product and gave it a great review as we have for many products on our channel. But I still prefer my old pulex and reanna her ol moerman. Just because a product gets a good review dosent mean it will always be used every day. Our employee uses the samurai and I do still from time to time.

      @@LukeTheWindowCleaner it was on sale at wcw my local store but suddenly it's not maybe they have sold out but it's not even in the website I thought maybe they had been pulled for some reason I've recently just bought a new pulex bucket myself because I couldn't justify the £100 of the gunslinger my bucket cost me £13 and does the same thing I almost bought a samurai but when I was told it didn't fit liquidators well I thought nope no way
