Totally agree. Window cleaning like it or not people, it's a trade, a skilled trade! Starting of any job you have to be an apprentice! To understand the tools, why they are used for, buy it's also mind strength and passion for what you do, you can then succeed at anything! 👍

I'm usually in the "zone" after about 3 windows, and its like muscle memeory takes over; and the next thing I know, the job is done. Move on to the next storefront.

Luke suggestion from you RO out to your DI in increase the hose diameter to increase the flow. I had the first version of the Xero and the increased hose diameter helped tremendously

I am a cleaner and just want to know what products you recommend. I bought the squeege set and glass cleaner from home depot. The squeege leaves streaks and there is a greasy residue on the windows that I struggle to remove.

Luke!!! Just ordered me the zero three stage with 30’ pole. Quick question. If I leave this mounded on my truck or trailer. Can’t I just leave the garden hose connected to it so I can just put other end on the house spigot and the. Use the other 100’3/8 hose connected to the exit part of the tank so that I can just pull out the brush let the water flush for a few minutes and get after it? Thank you. Any advise if greatly appreciated
hi luke,i just sarted window cleanig about few months ago because the job it presented to me just like that and i said i could do it.
well i started rigth away with some cheaper products that i had around,i see that i can progresively do more jobs to other commercial places,but the only part is i have no idea what to charge or how to charge.
do you have any video that teach pricing for commercial windows and how to clasify windows(i think im charging super low) and i have buissiness noticing me around and comming up to me to clean their windows but i have not idea what to charge them.

Two vids in and I'm enjoying your channel. Really interested to know more about the water fed systems. I cleaned windows for a couple of years with/for a friend in Waco. I'm Houston, Texas and the panes are a callin. I'm going to continue watching. Its apparent to me that you take your work seriously and have much to offer one such as myself. I would also be interested to know were you do your ordering from. In the past I've purchased materials from a company out in California. I just wonder if I'm getting the best deal. The water fed systerms look easier than I thought they might be to use. I'm also wondering how durable they are. Is there alot of upkeep maintenance. Thanks again. Merry Christmas.

How do you deal with condensation on the windows when people switch from the air conditioner to heat, it always a battle between the temperature of the inside and mother nature on the outside??
How would you handle hard water stains, would you use CLR calcium and lime remover ??

A window cleaner friend of mine had a couple of employees; They learned his routes/clients and then stole a bunch of them by undercutting his prices. Customers liked that they could get the windows cleaned cheaper (the owner's profit had been shaved off the price....the 2 guys were still making a little more money because they were being paid hourly previously, but now they were being paid per job) - kinda sucks but I know a lot of guys who start working for others and once they learn the skill, they just set out on their own
That’s what non compete agreements and non solicit agreement paper work is for. Have them sign agreeing not to share trade secrets and have them notarized have copies of i.d.s the whole 9. I worked to hard getting my business of the ground for some guys to come take my clientele

Question I just started getting I to window cleaning.because I am a cleaner and one building I clean they hired window cleaners .. this building is alll windows. Well I was super excited because the top ones needed help... But the next day every window has circle soap bubbles on every single window. Is this caused from using to much soap or... You would think that they would have hired people who would not have left it.like that I have re cleaned some of them and the soap is not coming off and the company does not want abrasive pads on the window because the last window company scratch every window... So what can I do? And is the soap marks just from too much soap or? ( To bad you are not in the area) they could use a good window cleaner for there ,1000 windows.)
Hey Luke I have a couple of questions. First off, how much pressure are you applying to the wfp with the forward arm? I find myself applying a great deal of pressure and by the time I know it my arms want to fall off my body. Second, why are you using a small brush for those huge panes? I have not seen anybody on UA-cam use the 18" brushes. Thank you.
