Red rubber works great on squeegees 12 inches and under. Sorbo natural rubber is very soft, but lasts surprisingly long. Good for use with a light touch. Sorbo bulk rubber is trash.
Red rubber is a little plasticy... does leave very faint streaks on some windows, but it lasts much longer than any other rubber on moermon liquidator channels (10-12 inches). Good for frenchies. The Sorbo channel with the clips holds water better than any other channel - meaning it drips less and you can move it faster than any other channel without leaving tails as the water flies off. Legend channels are the worst. They are so tall, giving no flex to the rubber. If a window has any bit of unevenness to them, water will be left behind, if you don't apply tons of pressure. Very fatiguing. Any fixed t-bar longer than 12 inches is trash.

The ones I wear are the originals from when they first started making them. All the ones I ordered towards the end of last year all leak. I really wish Baron that sells the 4 sided rubber still was sold in the US, I just wish the sorbo rubber was a little thicker and harder. I use to love it but it doesn’t compare to ettore rubber for me
SteveO The Window Cleaner Sörbo rubber don’t have that “round” thing in the center as the Baron rubber have, I guess that’s effect how the clips work? Just so we are fair,,,, And I have never seen you use Sörbo rubber ever in your videos 😃 Don’t get me wrong I think it’s a good topic to address, the Sörbo pole was an expensive disappointment, perhaps made by Moerman? The black diamond rubber is harder (I don’t like it at all) and you have the Ettore Soren rubber, to honoring their best costumer ( I haven’t tested that one jet) Yes different glass needs different rubber ✌️
new level graphics david Frame Love Sörbo but they can be little off when it comes to pricing, an that pole was a disappointment, guess Sören is not that active in the company anymore, and his kids perhaps have no interest in the window cleaning business

I recently received my second gunslinger. It's even stronger and better so I don't know what your talking about here.
Daniel Mann well good for you, your one of the lucky ones, we’ve owned 8....2 didn’t leak
let you know about that channel that the blade is to tall Unger blades or shorter maybe it'll work better
about the washers I've been doing this for 26 years never washed it I rinse it out at the end of the day with my fairly clean wash water and let it dry no problem it never stinks as long as you let it dry out
got a question I use an ettore blades to me either too stiff until you use them for a while any blades you suggest
over the years I think I've tried them all but it's been years since
same here, never stinking mops unless i leave them inside the bottom water in a hurry... If you let them dry no problem
Late to the party here! What squeegee do you actually recommend?
This is my favorite setup windowcleaner.com/ultimate-squeegee-combo?pt=MY
Everything I ever bought from Moerman other than my belt bucket has fallen apart in less than a year.
Every plastic Ettore handle i ever owned cracked in a week.
And don't even get me started on Unger's "Professional series" at Home Depot.
Sorbo's forever.
Thanks for sharing this info!
I've got the double bend it is awesome on dealerships!
Edward Perry for me it almost makes us more money then our WFP
Thank you
Sorbo Cobras excel on plastic/acrylics.
And on glass. And stainless steel. And everything else.
Love your videos man!
Hi, Steve! Diego from Italy here. I was gonna ask you how often do you change your squeegees rubbers? Thanks in advance for your reply! Cheers!!!
blixab1961 usually at least every 2 days.
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner waaaaayyy too often. Not a very good washer if u ask me
You say not to use the Reach-it Gunslinger, but in all your vids between tool comparisons it shows you wearing the gunslinger, was this the original richieblue one or is it the reachit one you are wearing. Seems a little confusing for people watching , can you let us know. Other than that, really enjoy seeing other peoples views on tools.
Yes, he's wearing the older ones from last year that were made well.
The ones I wear are the originals from when they first started making them. All the ones I ordered towards the end of last year all leak. I’ve used those for my combination tools for the last few months but they all leak and finally had it leak badly at a job and customer was pissed so after dealing with leaking for a long time and having a customer get pissed I decided that was it! Reach it gunslinger 💩
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner Really appreciated knowing that. The fact that you guys put so much time into these videos, and actually respond to comments is such a dual bonus. 10 out of 10, and actually have to say, that you guys are actually part of my tool kit, video on the belt lol, keep up and thanks so much from us here in Australia
Definitely agree on all that plus I'd add those crappy nylon work belts all the window cleaning manufacturer sell.
Although I've never had a problem with the Ettore poles but then again where I live we don't get a real winter lol.
Heather The Window Woman the ettore pole tip broke on me the day I got it, and the collars where impossible to lock/unlock in freezing temps. Those belts really suck, for me it’s the carpenter belts from Home Depot, low price, great quality and comfortable
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner nice! Iwhat fit the bill for me was the padded electricians belt which takes the weight off my hips.
What’s a ledger

Best video!!!!!!!
The Ettore 8' pole tip broke 15 minutes into my very first job!
Yep that tip needs to be a lot better built
4:33 NIce flow.
Rawrad thank you!!
I'll be in Loveland for a couple of days in about a week or so. I may hit you up if your not busy.
PowerWash Plus hit me up!
why is everything from moreman bad ? ? lol i thought the squeegees leave no detailing work
robert kurliand I just don’t care for them
The cobra 🐍 channel might work better with Sörbo rubber, I have used the same channels for years and no issues with the clips. I have not noticed that the rubber have turn bad, but I don’t like the Sörbo silicon rubber that you cut yourself, needs to the natural one, the dream pole is not the best either
I bought the Sorbo pole and had to return it for a recall and never used it again it is in my yard sale pile what a waste of 75.00! I will add that the Zero Trad 12' pole I bought 2 months ago is the best money I have spent on poles in 35.5 years in the biz!
Just so we are fair,,,, And I have never seen you use Sörbo rubber ever in your videos 😃
Don’t get me wrong I think it’s a good topic to address, the Sörbo pole was an expensive disappointment, perhaps made by Moerman? The black diamond rubber is harder (I don’t like it at all) and you have the Ettore Soren rubber, to honoring their best costumer ( I haven’t tested that one jet) Yes different glass needs different rubber ✌️
new level graphics david Frame Love Sörbo but they can be little off when it comes to pricing, an that pole was a disappointment, guess Sören is not that active in the company anymore, and his kids perhaps have no interest in the window cleaning business
I've heard a lot of hype about the Xero trad pole lately just wondering if you use one and what you think about it. Great video, love your content
Ryan Lee love it! Use it daily!!
Dude, I wanna decent pair of sunglasses, a pair of cargo shorts so I can put frozen bottles of water in the pockets when i leave in the morning cuz its gunna be hot as fuck out.
It’s summer today!
Um, no
It was a lot nicer today! ☀️
Hey Steve! Great video. What camera are you using for your videos ?

@@SteveOthewindowcleaner thx
Ettore Golden Sleave!
Window cleaning spray on sale for 30% off
holy shit he does a frozen food isle door. never seen anyone actually do those.
wonder if you need windshield washer fluid.
Ettore super channel don’t buy?? You crazy. I have no problems with mine what so ever. I love my fixed tbar handles too. Haha. Different strokes for different folks I guess
I love my super channel and specially for closing out. Steve-O you forgot to mention never to buy big brown towels ! Lol😁 They look like 💩 on your shoulders....
Nevertheless good vid !
They just leave to much behind for me...i probably just suck at using it lol
vcash holdfast always buy big brown towels!! #bathtowelnation
SteveO The Window Cleaner atleast I didn’t have to say it! 😂😂🤪🤪
SteveO The Window Cleaner #Bathtowelnation 😀😃🤣😂🤙
Ok first I like what your doing that being said. With the super Channel it has that much access BECAUSE ITS THE WRONG SIZE RUBBER. Seriously man
Halden Gilby you didn’t pay attention...
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner ok correct me then what did I miss
Halden Gilby that’s an 18” rubber on a 18” channel, if I cut it flush with channel on the two sides the tongue of the rubber is too big, creating too much detailing for me personally, so that’s why it sucks...to me 🤠
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner you might have been sent a defective one then. Because I don't have that problem. If you custom cut your rubbers you will have less detailing that's what I do.
They all just want our money 😉
