Stop the bashing guys. All car guys appreciate a new skill... no matter how you apply it. I've seen CF on "rice", muscle, and import. Heck even my 12yo 9-5 Aero SAAB had a stock carbon fiber interior; must have been built in Japan? And I have to give him credit because you can clearly see he produced these great results by eye; try it and see how easy it is! This wrapping is awesome. I have considered this for covering stock wheels for winter in lieu of having steel wheels. Very nice.
Top right edge of the wheel at 3:35 looks like it could use either some heat or some more trimming, but that looks good. Nice and removable if needed later on, and unique to say the least.
hey just wanted to let you know, when you unwrap 3M stickers like this, so close from the ground, you create a static charge that can attract dust and hair between the rim & the vynil. except this, fantastic work.
Yo fuck that dat shit is FRESH not only does it protect the rim or paint it gives it that nice new looking rim look anybody could think you bought a new pair i my self bought a 3m dinoc to place on my hood i will post it up as soon as i place it
Its a wheel that gets hit by pebbles and road debris at 60 mph daily. (80-90+ if kicked up by another car). If its any kind of high quality (which BMW is known for), no, it wont be scratched easily with most any blade. Its Probably anodized paint/enamel, Which means you literally have to remove metal to remove paint.
Holy 50 shades of blue balls. Great job brother where did you get that wrap. Sorry I didn't read all the comments but I see they sell white carbon fiber wrap now Seen a guy do his whole 5 series BMW in it and carbon the hood, roof and spoiler. came out incredible. It was professional done by a Company. Forget name though. it's on UA-cam you can look it up
i really don't know why you guy's are hatting on the dude . he did a great job and on top of that he made the Original BMW rim's look great . ( nothing but you Tube Troll's ) don't be mad the dude is good at something and your not .
I think this guy has some serious skill. To do this by hand and by eye and not scratch the rims would be impossible for most people. Yes its only a sticker but looks epic :D I want one. Actually, i want a whole set...
black wheels are fucking sick on a car i actually prefer,,i just got a nissan GTR in white and as soon as it arrives im powdercoating the wheels black so IDK what ur talking about
y cuanto dura el pegamento? a los 30 dias se despega, un desperdicio de tiempo y material para una corta vida util. Solo sirve para une exposicion temporal
@joecooper18 lol.. i'm 22 with a bmw.. so i'm a wanker now.. BMWs are not overpriced.. BMW builds some of the best quality car period.. fast, handles perfectly, and looks amazing... dont be a hater just because you cant get one..
when you want to remove you do it with soap water and some heat...not just tpulling it off like superman specially with non 3M brand,3M are the way to go btw, next time take it to a expert like this guy on video...
This is no wrap, just sticker. I'm planning to do a full 3d wrap, also around the spokes, ofcourse not with carbon but plain dark grey.. Starting soon, search youtube for "wheel wrap 3d"
the idea of cutting vinyl wrap is to not directly cut on the surface instead use the surface to guide the knife. No scratches occur this way, the 3M vinyl wrap will protect the parts covered from stone scratches but not against curbing you rim.
Seems like a lot of hard work for a questionable cosmetic finish and no physical improvements. Power to the guy for the obvious skill with a Stanley knife, but I don't see the point myself.
Better off getting them Dipped and then clear coated for a much better look and finish. Check Hydrographics or water immersion printing some cool videos on you tube
seems to be human nature to shit on other people. i agree, people should just watch and keep the trash comments to themselves. seems that everyone is an expert and everyone else is doing it wrong. just watch and enjoy or better yet......watch a different video.

3M quality.. known for adhesives and abrasives. excellent job on the the wheel!
Nice job. fair play thats bloody brilliant.
few kilometers yields the plotter, greetings from Argentina
How can you cut it without scratching the surface if the rim?
hey just wanted to let you know, when you unwrap 3M stickers like this, so close from the ground, you create a static charge that can attract dust and hair between the rim & the vynil.
except this, fantastic work.
Dude was NICE WIT IT with the Exacto knife! WOWWWW...

i think it looks bad ass!!
if you hit with the weel in some stone, all that job will be made again?
thats SICK
scatching the fuck out of those wheels but looks fucking dope as hell
i really don't know why you guy's are hatting on the dude . he did a great job and on top of that he made the Original BMW rim's look great . ( nothing but you Tube Troll's ) don't be mad the dude is good at something and your not .
Nice job! But it would look better if he wrapped the entire metallic part of the rim~
@Demonichellfighter
Thats actually in Van Nuys, California.
Heat gun, pretty cheap at a DIY store or something like the home depot or lowes
does this actually add strength to the object or is it just for looks
0:10 all finished!
are you using some sort of specialty blade on the knife? how does it not scratch the wheel when your cutting the carbon around?
brilliant. do you've got the copyright on that idea ? cuz i want to do that on my wheels too :D quietly brilliant and looks amazing!
I think this guy has some serious skill. To do this by hand and by eye and not scratch the rims would be impossible for most people.
Yes its only a sticker but looks epic :D I want one. Actually, i want a whole set...
i wonder how it will look on a 3inch wheel lip? wheels are black faced, and chrome lip..
nice job bro its look so hard
0:31 all done !!
If I get the tyre changed will that damage the new carbon fibre skin?
Why not wrap the whole rim? Looks weird to see the OEM part exposed.
black wheels are fucking sick on a car i actually prefer,,i just got a nissan GTR in white and as soon as it arrives im powdercoating the wheels black so IDK what ur talking about
the rims look dope idk what people are saying..
can it withstand the heat?
looks sweet
@mammothborderDC FYI They invented this stuff called paint! It's amazing, its wet at first then dries and comes in tons of colours!
How long this can be on rim? How it works with rain , carwash etc?
what is the tool? that heating fan something like that?
only in Mexico or India
@joecooper18: I want to keep them original. They are 700 euro each and proffesional spraying costs 150 euro a piece, wrapping only 11 euro.
yea this is this
Does anyone know the name of this song, who is it?
you did a greatttt job props to you but the rims are def scratched due to the razor, thats the only downfall to that
@joecooper18 lol.. i'm 22 with a bmw.. so i'm a wanker now.. BMWs are not overpriced.. BMW builds some of the best quality car period.. fast, handles perfectly, and looks amazing... dont be a hater just because you cant get one..
what type of wheel is that?
thr name from this model of wheel¿.
when you want to remove you do it with soap water and some heat...not just tpulling it off like superman specially with non 3M brand,3M are the way to go btw, next time take it to a expert like this guy on video...
nice
ill give u 20 bucks per wheel to do this, but it cant be carbon fiber. I want semi-gloss matte if you guys stock that.
isn`t saver if he took the tires off of the wheels !
eXacto blade should have been used here.

@hernandadmx i already got a 2005 bmw m3 with some work so ..
This is no wrap, just sticker. I'm planning to do a full 3d wrap, also around the spokes, ofcourse not with carbon but plain dark grey.. Starting soon, search youtube for "wheel wrap 3d"

song name?
Im actually defending the owner/wrapper, shemed1 is flaming them.
I think it looks nice but wow. When these come off and theres a zillion scratches on my rims, ya. Nobody puts baby in the corner!
the idea of cutting vinyl wrap is to not directly cut on the surface instead use the surface to guide the knife. No scratches occur this way, the 3M vinyl wrap will protect the parts covered from stone scratches but not against curbing you rim.
nice job.. but looks ugly.. it would look better of it was black matte.. my opinion.. but really nicely done
Top right corner before he spins the wheel. Fail.
only thing i didn't like was he wasted a lot of wrap :(
WOW! really looks like a rim made of...made of...wait - alloy...but...carbon...made of a bad idea- thats it - it´s made of a bad idea !
dont curb that or ur screwed!
should just hydro dip it
Not bad, but that's gonna start peeling off any day
buuuuu que fome, pensé que iva a envolver toda la pieza, eso lo hago con los ojos cerrados es muy simple

Looks ugly but nicely done.
