Glad to see someone else out there putting in educational time off the clock! It’s helped me improve immensely, and seeing a community of other people doing the same thing is encouraging!
Keep doing these episodes on roofs . I’m almost a year into framing started when I was 19 and I’ve worked in houses and now bigger buildings like apartments/hotels and meet a lot of talented framers but let me tell you the only time I’ve ever seen these guys actually struggle a little bit or have to actually think a lot is with roofs .
I'm beginning my pre-apprenticeship training soon and I love these videos. Helps me understand and envision the kind of stuff I'll be doing, and how to use the tools like the speed square! Thanks boss.
Thanks for the video man I cant wait to see more of this series, this actually helped me a lot to understand this stuff because im always just the cut man as of now
Good video. I think to make it easier on you and your viewers, pick common dimensions for the walls and build them, then fit the rafter system to the walls. This way, it would be more like building from a blueprint. One other suggestion would be for your seat cut to be flush with the interior of the wall when possible, but like I said, just a suggestion. Keep up the good work. 👍
With dropping the hip 3/8ths, the seat height shortened so it should’ve just dropped without creating a gap. Either way I’m still curious how my tail number was still right on😂
learned about you from the Perkins Brothers video. Great guys! Recommend you add them to your "Channels" Tab you follow. This should help draw more interest to your channel.
Where you located brother. Im in my 4th year owning a construction business here in Louisville ky. Thinking of getting a gopro and documenting the ups and downs as I keep going. I see the Indiana license plates so I was curious
still wondering why you do not have more views and followers. best channel to follow, all your videos are awesome. some have 3-400k followers but produce rubbish😂

Thanks man I’ll keep that in mind for the next one!
Almost looked like a skateboarding ramp. But really informative video man. Turned out great.
Does that gap measure about 3/8" was it transferred when you lowered it?

Northwest indiana! Awesome dude I say do it. That would be cool to see🙏
Hey why is your suspenders like that is that an overlooked sweet spot easy in the back ..? I have to know.. my bags are as light as possible ..
The just hung a bit too low on my back. Didn’t really like them at all. I switched to lighter nylon suspenders👍
Did you deduct 1/2 diagonal thickness of ridge stock? It might be why your birds mouth isn't tight.
No I did not. I’ll have to look up on that thanks🙏
@@certifiedladderholder if you didn't, it's odd that everything is planing.
@@johnlasseigne7676 Yeah I found that odd too

Sent the model right into the truck Derek😂
Didn’t leave a mark😂
Boy are you doing that the hard way. I like that you are trying to figure it out though.
Oh don’t I know it😂that’s the beauty of learning!
You switch to occi's?
Yeah just picked them up. I’m really liking them so far👍
@@certifiedladderholder only way to go brotha. Diamondback is cool and all but at the end of the day occidental has it going on
The hip angles are on your square
“Don’t try this at home “ trying it at home lmao
Hip wasn’t tight because the calculator works in a perfect world. Sometimes you have to just measure the hip with a tape.
You got that right😂If only if we could live in a perfect one
Put them on fire or flame thrower bro
damn i wanted to start in the trades but this seems too much for me lol
Don’t worry it takes time to get to a little more advanced learning like this. Starting in the trades is not as difficult as it seems🙏give it a shot
I know him
Gone back to the occidentals?
Actually just picked them up. Really enjoying them so far👍
@@certifiedladderholder Maybe adjust the suspenders a bit? They look way off! Bet it works for you though.
@@Davey768 Haha yeah I’ve been meaning to adjust them
No Betsy or hammer flipping in video. Dislike! (when are we grabbing drinks)
No Spencer either☹️ (On pie day Friday)
How I know not to go into the trades lol
