Great to hear the review from a gentleman owner. The new Speed Triple is fantastic in looks and performance. I own a Speed Triple 955i and toured Canada on a Speed Triple 955i and later a 1050i (hired over there). For the car laden UK, I feel my 955i is enough! Hope the owner enjoys his purchase!
2025 coming out will have ES and come in an RX version as well with clip ons. RS will still be handle bar raisers. Personally I'm quite happy with the manual fully adjustable suspension - once dialled in for my weight it's perfect. I'm 90kgs and still had to dial back the preload from stock.
@@jeroenvandenwijngaard1795 I went with the “recommended normal” compression and rebound settings from the manual which happened to work well. Preload I did the usual way: tape measure / two people - dial in/out until you reach desired sag. I set mine at 30% front and rear.
Front rebound 15 and compression 15 Rear rebound 16 compression 20 so you used this setup? and test/measure preload. Did you change the preload in the back too?
@@jeroenvandenwijngaard1795yep changed preload front and rear - took a bit off each end from memory. Was wound right up from factory. This is in Japan not sure if different in other markets.
Not sure if you mentioned it but I would get a shift support in that bike ASAP! Extremely long shifting shaft and have a tendency to snap which is a costly repair
I cant mate, this is my buddy's bike and he's actually 8,000km away from me right now. What I do know is that he set rider SAG to standard and then reduce preload from that level. You should be setting it up for yourself in any case.
I bought the same model just over a month ago I’m blown away by it and agree with all the positive comments. The handling in particular is amazing.
yeah great bike ay, I'd love to have a ride of one on track
Triumph's finish is fantastic, even the nuts and bolts.
yep, they do an awesome job with the finish and they're a great bike to boot
How snappy is that throttle response ❤
@@VYXtreme I love it, sweet sounding machine

cheers mate, he's in love with the thing. Can't blame him either, they really are a great motorcycle.
Great!
Any quickshifter issues? I've read where many have had problems.
no idea, this is not my bike but a mates. He hasn't indicated any issues that I know of.

@@sattvicvelo3506 wow interesting news. Where did you hear this?🙌
Can you give me the exact settings for the front suspension, preload, compression and rebound and also for the rear?

cheers mate, I've done some reading up on these, Ill take your advice and whack one on
Haven’t heard about this. Where can I read more about it?
😮 I have almost 15k km on mine.
@@bjrkK RaceTorx Shift support! But it's all over most of the facebook groups people with shift shaft issues
@@bjrkK I had a look on line and there's some suggestion it is a weakness, who knows, for the cost of a support it's worth grabbing I reckon
