hard to believe uve been doing ur perfect run series for over a year now and i only started watching the series during the summer im glad to know uve made it this far with this series roahm
when you played the stream OP I had legitimate chills man watching all your vis (sans horror games) from the start now since like last month I've been watching you for a long time and you're an amazing guy
I wish the sliding mechanic was kept. That made for some interesting level design and really fun boss fights, so removing that I felt hampered the game rather than helped it.
Entirely true about the slide. I am fine with its loss here since they were going for a "back to the beginning" feel. There was no excuse to keep it out for 10. Mega Man 11 displayed how sorely it was missed.
The logic behind Splash Woman being included is probably that you're fighting Dr. Light's robots and he has a history of creating female robots (and indeed, every female robot master thus far is created by Dr. Light), so it's there as a sort of an identifier for the fact that these indeed aren't Wily constructs.
As stated in the video description, the song at the start is "Be Somewhere" by Buzy. It was I believe the third theme for the Japanese Rockman.EXE anime.
Woo, a whole year of making videos, and a brand new series of perfect runs. Hooray! Congrats on all that, and Happy New Year, too! Even if it is a day late.
Epic intro is epic. You should make a compilation sort of thing like this when you finish EVERY Megaman LP you plan to do. Use the same music as it is awesome too~ Of course, only if you want to lol
Ahh, I loved the intro :D I can't help but notice the sound seems to be recording a little iffy :\ But still, looks like you've got off to a good start. Lord knows it's only going to get harder! xD
I never noticed that the platforms at 7:10 had water in it or that it was draining. I love water stages but I have the hardest time fighting Splash Women, even with her weakness.
I think the earlier comments are right come to think of it, and this takes place after MM&B, as the ending of MM&B is referenced in MM9's ending, I forgot about that. Maybe Bass just needed repairs or something, and that's why his schematics are there and he wasn't in this game.
Ah, Splash Woman. Now, there is the stage that I know I will be able to perfect-run myself. Almost did it once, by chance, but got hit by the last enemy before the boss. Yeah, I know that one isn't too hard to dodge, but in my defence, I wasn't really trying to do a perfect-run in the first place. I was just going about playing the way I usually do. As in, avoid damage if possible. I don't like taking damage. :P
Well, the music only lasts for about one minute, then I go to game audio and narration for the actual perfect run. I just wanted to do a special intro for this being my one year anniversary vid, and I thought a theme from the Japanese Rockman.EXE anime would be fitting.
Does anyone else know about the robot masters field guide? Its a book on Amazon which is like the cards in megaman and bass with likes and dislikes but it also shows their number, sprite and megaman using their weapon aswell. Splash woman is one of the Taster pages. It also adds in any of the newer characters
Well, we knew they were coming eventually ;) Just needed the method to record from consoles, and having all my other projects finished ;) Well, Kirby Arena is still going, but the videos are all already done there, so that doesn't count X)
This is true, but the clipped scenes of all the victories show Wily begging for mercy in specific rooms, the proper rooms where he did so in the idfferent games. The only time he begged for mercy in MMV was in an open, grassy field, which is not pictured.
@RoahmMythril I'm not sure the best way to describe it, its like the music's pitch changes between a slightly high and low tone every couple of seconds :/
This is true. However, in the ending, Mega Man is shown having defeated Dr. Wily 9 times prior to MM9. I would assume the 9th time shown there was MM&B?
Ahh, I see what you mean. Yes, that is a slight bit of a problem, but still, overall, it isn't THAT much of a problem all things considered. It's one there isn't much I can do about, looking for info on it, it says to manually increase the program's priority, which I did, so... Essentially, that's the best I can get it. Hopefully it isn't TOO bad.
Eh, that would have been my choice if not for the annoyance of all the WMG style shenanigans that kept silencing my videos, and thus, I don't risk using commercial songs anymore. I still list what would have been my first choice as the "in a perfect world" song choices in the video descriptions.
@Domsquid700 Do you even know what the first song is? It's the full version of the opening for Rockman.EXE Stream, The Battle Network 5 anime, only in Japan. You really should know what it is before you hate.
@Domsquid700 Because it's relevant to MegaMan. It was used as the opening theme to the Excess series of the anime based on the Battle Network series, so bagging it simply because it's Japanese comes across as being trollish.
In my opinion, it might take place before Megaman and Bass, since on Wily computer, Bass' schematics are on it. Also, I remember someone said that Capcom was being sexist with the fact that Splash Woman took more damage than the other Robot Masters, but I highly doubt that the person that said that has played many Megaman games at all.
You know, the Mega Man Home Page (or whatever it's called) claims that every stage in Mega Man 9 has at least one place that is strikingly more difficult. But I've now watched three complete playthroughs of this game and still haven't managed to figure out for sure exactly where the problem areas are in each one. Maybe it's something I'd figure out if I actually played the game, I guess.
Plus in mm9 one messup in wily stages means that you have to start from the first wily stage. I managed to complete 1st stage without taking damage, but i mess up'd at the 2nd stage. Then I got lazy and gave up. at least there's the time attack feature with what you can prove that you can complete those stages without taking damage!
I'm dying to play this game, but I won't be able to unless my dad actually decided to get that Wii, or...do they even make ROMs and emulators for the Wii? I've heard that 9 is one of the more difficult games in the series, but I made it through the first 8 original series games on an emulator and the first 4 X games on a console (well, except maybe Sigma), so I think I could handle it. Besides, the awesomeness of the weapons and music would probably make up for the difficulty.
I have an idea for an achievement in Mega Man 11 (if they ever make one), "Dragon Man" ,where the player has to beat at least one robot master and his/her stage without taking damage. But someone would have to show Capcom some of your "Perfect Runs."
@SuperMightyMichael i think hornet chaser is her weakness cuz shes maybe allergic to it like megas allergic to pointy things, i know a person whos really allergic to hornets and bees
Congratulations on getting the gamebridge and being able to do this. Awesome prelude as well.
Congrats on your 1 year Roahm. It's great to see the perfect runs again. :)

Yes!your perfect run videos are AWESOME!keep up the good work!

In 2008, the Mega Man franchise introduced its first (and only) female Robot Master. PROGRESS.
Congratulations on your 1 year Anniversary Roahm, Keep up the good work on all your projects.

The Mega Man perfect runs are back?? HECK YES.
And happy New Year, RM!
Thank you, and Happy New Year to you as well ;) And I hope you enjoy the rest of the Perfect Runs for this one ;)
"be somewhere" damn, i freakin love that song, first heard it watching the japanese megaman exe anime
Thank you very much ;) I'm looking forward to continuing work on various projects ;)
Thank you ;) Definitely enjoying getting back to this thus far ;)
I think the earlier comments are right come to think of it, and this takes place after MM&B, as the ending of MM&B is referenced in MM9's ending, I forgot about that. Maybe Bass just needed repairs or something, and that's why his schematics are there and he wasn't in this game.
Indeed, I agree, I loved the old campy Batman X) Adam West is such a complete ham, and is awesome about it X)
The water tank platforms are like the "classic" disappearing platforms, except not irritating and shitty. I approve.
Ah, Splash Woman. Now, there is the stage that I know I will be able to perfect-run myself. Almost did it once, by chance, but got hit by the last enemy before the boss. typo
It's splash-wo man
HAHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAAHHAHAHHAAHHAHA
Thank you very much, and I hope you enjoy them ;)
so you starter to make this videos on January 2? cool, its also my birthday so this makes it even better so Happy Anniversary RoahMythril.lol
Well, the music only lasts for about one minute, then I go to game audio and narration for the actual perfect run. I just wanted to do a special intro for this being my one year anniversary vid, and I thought a theme from the Japanese Rockman.EXE anime would be fitting.
It feels rather good to be working on these ;)
Does anyone else know about the robot masters field guide? Its a book on Amazon which is like the cards in megaman and bass with likes and dislikes but it also shows their number, sprite and megaman using their weapon aswell.
Splash woman is one of the Taster pages. It also adds in any of the newer characters
Thank you very much, and I'm looking forward to doing more in the coming year ;)
Thank you, and happy new year to you as well ;)
No, it's the opening song from one of the Japanese seasons of the Rockman.EXE anime. I actually forget which one though. It's called "Be Somewhere."
Well, we knew they were coming eventually ;) Just needed the method to record from consoles, and having all my other projects finished ;) Well, Kirby Arena is still going, but the videos are all already done there, so that doesn't count X)
If I have to use a Robot Master weapon, I will, it's just part of the stage forcing me to do so. Such was seen when I did the MM2 Wily stages.
This is true, but the clipped scenes of all the victories show Wily begging for mercy in specific rooms, the proper rooms where he did so in the idfferent games. The only time he begged for mercy in MMV was in an open, grassy field, which is not pictured.
Aye, such is why I'm sticking with that now.
@RoahmMythril
I'm not sure the best way to describe it, its like the music's pitch changes between a slightly high and low tone every couple of seconds :/
Am I the only one who thinks this game had the best weapons and music of any original-series Mega Man game?
MM9 definitely takes place after MM&B. Its referenced in the ending, and in the debug or something MM&B is actually called MM8.5
@RoahmMythril
And it also wouldn't be possible. On the final Wily stage, you HAVE to use the Concrete Shot to turn off the lasers.
This is true. However, in the ending, Mega Man is shown having defeated Dr. Wily 9 times prior to MM9. I would assume the 9th time shown there was MM&B?
Yes, outtakes and analysis are in Part 2, which was uploaded right after this one. The link should be in the video description now.
@RoahmMythril Oh, ok, thank you man. I appreciate it. Keep rockin' the LP's man. I'll keep watching. -FlareTH-
Eh, that would have been my choice if not for the annoyance of all the WMG style shenanigans that kept silencing my videos, and thus, I don't risk using commercial songs anymore. I still list what would have been my first choice as the "in a perfect world" song choices in the video descriptions.
Light does, Wily steals
so wait if these robots were also created by Dr. Light would that make them related to the robots from mega man 1?
If I do a special run can I use your outtakes idea?
THEY'RE MAGNIFICENT.
@Domsquid700 Do you even know what the first song is? It's the full version of the opening for Rockman.EXE Stream, The Battle Network 5 anime, only in Japan. You really should know what it is before you hate.

Man, I invented too a robot master named Dragon Man...
well, i hope Capcom will listen to its fans and put this RM in the game :D
Thank you ;) Glad you enjoyed it ;)
Why does the foremost authority in robotics only have one telephone?
uhhhh *shows the pan scene from princess diaries 2* sonnez les matines sonnez les matines ding dang dong ding dang dong
Hmm, that is true, I hadn't considered that possibility.
Aye, same here, just needed the right equipment and a clear schedule ;)
Yay!Roahm is back!
Beat and Rush have helmets, too!I guess it's just a robot fashion craze.
Well, Happy New Year! :)
Thank you for pointing out the typo, it should be fixed now. As for themes, I tend to agree, I think Splash Woman's is the better one though.
@RoahmMythril Is the song from the intro Tatsunoko vs Capcom's intro song? If so, do you have it?
I like Galaxy man as a start point. He's got a short and easy stage, and though he only takes one damage, he has a simple pastern.
This, I haven't actually decided yet. We shall see.
If I'm not mistaken, I do believe "Be Somwhere" is the opener to Axess I think.
wrong it was a different song as the opening
@RoahmMythril yah, i thought so, im also quite fond of "wild fang"
Hm, really? I didn't notice anything off with the sound...
I like that song in the beginning. What is it called?
If nothing else, she gets credit for having one of the few water stages I actually find enjoyable X)
@RoahmMythril and what's so evil about a footholder?
So, in MM7, Auto hands MM his helmet, and he physically puts it on. But in every other one, it just kind of unfolds out of his scalp.
I agree, we have a foothold! But not a foot-holder because, well, you are right...that would be evil.
Will you take care of the extra stage as well?
Aka Fake Man.
Can you do the wily stages you haven't done next?=
@GmNdWtchr96 I''m making a fan game so maybe... It won't be out for ages though and I have no vidios of it... ( I spelt that wrong didn't I...)
3:12
Hello from the future, I would like to inform you that a decade later people would be foolish enough to believe Wily because we are infact naïve.
Just here for the epic montage!
Man, when I saw this in the subscriptions box I almost wet myself from excitement!
Hmmm, I wounder if I could try boss rushing PSO2 with Gunslash and no damage...
Fairy Leviathan from the MMZ series is exactly like Splash woman, wow.
Good run, Splash Woman was too easy. the only thing you and I know is to watch out for her fish. I like you to try Mega Man X perfect run.
In a sense, I suppose it would, yes.
Not particularly, I go back and forth between controllers and keyboards a lot, so it wasn't that hard for me to switch back ;)
@Domsquid700 why?
Oh... fine!
Anyway, you should be in total relief for knowing that FakeMan isn't a Robot Master.
Indeed, it's been quite a long time ^_^;
Isn't there an achievement in MM10(and 9 too I think) where you have to beat the whole game at once without taking damage?
I have an idea for an achievement in Mega Man 11 (if they ever make one), "Dragon Man" ,where the player has to beat at least one robot master and his/her stage without taking damage. But someone would have to show Capcom some of your "Perfect Runs."
I'm sure I will!
@SuperMightyMichael i think hornet chaser is her weakness cuz shes maybe allergic to it like megas allergic to pointy things, i know a person whos really allergic to hornets and bees
@GmNdWtchr96 They might end up with a dragon man... If they make megaman 11 I want them to put bond man in... He was cut from MM1
Excellent work then ;)
I chose Splash Woman first, and surprisingly, when I fought her, I got a Game Over.
@RoahmMythril Lol I found out what they mean before you'd answered that but thanks anyway.
I quite like that song, it seemed nice ;)
Cool....I share birthday with Mega Man!
@RoahmMythril i hate to ask so you dont like the zero series its still quite dark but you kill x hooray and use melee weapons yay
@RoahmMythril nice job finding Mega Man's birth date in the Swiss Bank number
