- Here is a pattern for you that has been working for me for a while now. I've been tying a slightly smaller version of this fly for about a year now. But now that Firehole came out with the 523 hook I've been tying them a little bigger thanks to the extended length of the hook shank and have been having success with it. This pattern makes a great leech pattern or tie it in brown and it can double as a crawfish imitation for smallies. Don't be afraid to tie this in multiple colors. Like always go to our website www.holsingersflyshop.com for all the materials need to tie this fly and others and thanks for watching. -Shawn

Great looking fly Shawn-thanks for sharing. I’m going to whip some up and try them in Colorado. Merry Christmas.
These are killer flies. I fish them in a couple different colors. Try a peach tail with a pink body. (Shhhh don't tell anyone I told you that.) lol
A very buggy bugger! Will have to tie some soon.
Great pattern. going to have to give this one a try.
Good job on this video and pattern. And, you wearing a blue shirt makes the fly colors pop. Some folks wear black and makes it harder to see so good work.
Хорошая приманка получилась.
Great video! Thanks so much.
Great little bugger pattern. I need to tie a bunch for my clients here on the Yellowstone. It was very nice to see you using one of my dubbing brushes too!
Yes and thank you for the brush. I love it. This is a great way to tie a bugger pattern. Been fishing them this way for a while.
Cool Bugger Shawn, thanks. Hey I found the magazine that featured Wimer's Super Zug, it was Eastern Fly Fishing. I subscribe to that, I'll have to dig out that old issue.
Yes that's it. I used to subscribe to it. It's a good magazine. Features lots of Pa streams
Ike Hartman I hope this fly will work in the kettle creek this spring
