I have zero interest in fishing and have never once thought about what goes into it but by god you are an ARTIST. Every thread you use, every feather every bead is so precise. The intricacy of sll the little bugs, crustaceans and weird critters you make it's just incredible, im in awe. And its so relaxing too, i love falling asleep to your videos, please keep making these
More on the way! So glad you’re enjoying them and appreciate some of my perfectionist tendencies!
Your whispering is so satisfying! I hope one day you’ll consider doing a video where you do a voice over explaining your process
You bet! It’s in the queue - working on fitting it into the workflow 😊
I don’t know a single thing about fly fishing but I would absolutely buy and display this in my house
That means so much!! Thank you! 🥰
So intricate, delicate, and beautiful! While part of my heart hurts knowing these lovely little creatures will get thrown in the water and chewed on by a fish, I understand that's their purpose, and it's always satisfying to see something fulfill its purpose. It's nice to know you fish with them. 🐟🐟🐟
I’m obsessed with your videos 😭 I would also love to hear your voice more because it’s literally so relaxing and the audio quality is so crisp PLS DO A TALKING ASMR VIDEO SOON!!! ❤️🩹❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
I love watching this kind of art because if I didn't already know what was happening I probably wouldn't be able to guess what it was until almost the end, and then all of a sudden it's a super realistic crab
🤣 It does sort of all come together with the eyes, doesn’t it?
This is so beautiful that I can't imagine casting it into the water!
tbh i didn't know fly tying was a thing when i found this channel yesterday, but it's awesome and these videos ae SO good
Glad to introduce you to the craft!!! Thank you so much!! 💙
what a gorgeous piece!!❤️do you make these for artistic purposes only or do you also sell them to use for fishing?
I don’t sell flies at the moment, but they are functional and we fish them when we can 😊
I like the music you chose for this, it’s so relaxing with your mesmerizing work.
Glad you like it!! My boyfriend (videographer and editor) chose the music for this one ☺️
The nails, the skills, the voice, the final product... Everything about this & you is beautiful. ❤
What a wonderful thing to say! Thank you so so much 🥰 Really glad you’re enjoying these!
I love these videos! It makes me want to learn how to make these. I wonder in the future if you’d try turning down the music a tad so we can hear more of the other sounds. Either way these are so amazing 😊
Absolutely! Working on adding a soft spoken or music free version to the workflow 😊
Been tying flys for years, never thought that watching someone else do it would be so relaxing. Thanks. You have a new subscriber. By the way, if you need any squirrel tails, i have tons. Just let me know where to send it.
Much appreciated!! What types of flies do you tie? A variety or do you stick to one genre?
@@shetiesflies since I live in Alaska, " egg sucking leaches" tied with marabu and a red yarn head in different colors. Due to the fact that when salmon hit fresh water, they stop feeding. So you have to trigger their protective response. Also, I tie a goofy purple thing that was supposed to be a joke on a friend. Wound up that It catches the larger dollyvarden in the river . I tie horsehair bugs for pike and mosquito flies for higher up the river. Gnat flies and wooly buggers for other spices. Sometimes I tie flies on the bank to match the hatch of mayflies and the like. Nymphs or dry flies. Can tie most. But have never seen your crab flies. Am curious if that pattern would work up here. I carry a small graphite vise and a small selection of thread and hooks in my creel.
Wow! Watching you shape the legs was so intriguing! The way they moved every now and then felt so lifelike.
Glad you liked it! Was really happy with how they came out!
Amazing video as per usual! Loved the kitty purrs 🥰🤭
Thanks so much!!! His name is Murphy and he’s very handsome, though I know he was blurry in the video 🤣
Вау, классный крабик и классный асмр 😊
Love it!!!!
Thank you so so much!!
Ooh! The last crab was my favorite youve done, im so excited to see another! Yay!
Thanks! I was so exited to do the purple pass crab legs but wanted to wait until the crab flush 💙
That pattern would probably work really well on halibut up here
That would be fun to try!!
That's so cute! Ur skill is unmatched 🎉
Appreciate the encouragement! 🥰🥰
Amazing, as always!
Much appreciated, as always! 💙
ok, I'm subscribing. you're just awesome!
Thank you so much!! That means more than you know! 💙
Absolutely love your content! Two of my favorite things! - Tying flies and asmr!
Thank you so much! Two of my favorites, as well!
I have to say, I love your work, you’re super talented, and you do a perfect job with ASMR ❤
I sincerely appreciate that! Thank you, Michael!
I love this channel ❤️
Thank you!! Glad you’re enjoying it!
Amazing!! Love your videos so much ❤️
I appreciate that! Thank you!
Is the glitter just for aesthetic purposes or does it help attract what you want to catch? It’s interesting either way
These should sink belly down so the fish wouldn’t see the glitter at first, but once it sinks and goes through a fish’s line of sight, the glitter could definitely act as an attractor 😊
yayyy!!! Studying can wait, I like this more
What are you studying for? Hope this helps you focus!
Вот, уже ближе, скоро и татантул будет😊
🤣
SUPER
Thank you!! 💙
More crabs! Even the flies are becoming crabs.
🤣🤣
Ooooo I’ll be back for this …
Also
Well done boss
Keep on
Nice videos
Thank you so much!
I love learning about niche hobbies! You very clearly love doing this and I appreciate the effort and attention to detail you put into your crafts. I’m curious, do you plan these designs all out before starting the project, similar to having crochet/knitting patterns, or do you just freestyle it?
I’m typically using patterns and then embellishing/tweaking to my liking. I’ve been a fiber artist for over a decade and have a room in my house dedicated to all things wool (knitting, weaving, spinning, sewing, felting) so I appreciate the comparison!
@@shetiesflies wow that’s awesome! Your work is incredible!
Do the flies get used for fishing once you finish them?
How much would one of these gorgeous flies cost to purchase (if they were for sale)?
We do use them if they make sense for our area/species. 😊 I haven’t worked out what they’d cost made in this style, but a more generic Alphlexo crab would probably be fairly reasonable
@@shetiesflies Very cool, thanks for the reply! I love your videos.
Did you do a swim test ? How does this fly land in water ?
I did!! It’s a tiny bit splashy, but no more than a typical Alphlexo crab. Sinks fairly quickly belly side down and imitates a fleeing crab when stripped. I really dig how it behaves in the water!
