  • A small (#14), jigged version of the venerable Woolly Bugger that has worked well on panfish, trout, and smallmouth bass. It’s a quick and easy tie, but the small size dictates a few changes from the traditional methods for a full-size Wooly Bugger. This version doesn’t use wire and had a flash body of midge diamond braid versus more traditional chenille or dubbing for the body.
    Materials for Olive:
-- 70 denier UTC Ultra thread in Olive
    -- #14 Umpqua 555 jig hook
    -- 1/8" slotted tungsten bead
-- Sculpin Olive Woolly Bugger Marabou
-- Midge Diamond Braid in Peacock (can use more traditional dubbed or micro chenille body)
-- Whiting Hen Cape hackle in Grizzly
