If S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 ain't just Tarkov with anomalies in an open world, I'm gonna be pissed.
As a lunatic who plays on novice and likes being gopnik-warlord incarnate, hauling a PKM, F2000 with 50 'nades, a modded USAS12 drum with 30 rounds of EXPLOSIVE buckshot, and an exoskeleton, with a modified max weight of 500KG, I would like there to be an arcade-type mode.
But chernobyl gopnik tarkov with yeetnomalies that vaporize you if you look at them too long is also fine.
IMHO we'll all get our cut since the game is going to support mods - and I expect to require another M.2 drive for my mod folder.

@Comrade Chungus I didn't mean multiplayer you chungus or a straight rip, it was mildly hyperbole but this is the internet so I shouldn't assume people get my meaning. I meant ya know the immersive gameplay, inventory management, gun customisation, a decent economy, medical system, all the bits that Tarkov was inspired by STALKER but made good and all the things a billion mods also emulate whilst being in the zone and making me shit my pants. STALKER having a strong story though is a bit of a stretch so that would be nice.
Continue stuff like this. As S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 picks up steam people will look for stuff for Anomaly and you'll likely see a pick up.

I mean to be fair Tarkov got a lot of inspiration from Stalker, I think Nikita said it in some videos. And it's also quite blantanly obvious.
There is certain modpacks to turn Anomaly into tarkov. I tried it and it loooks quite similar to tarkov for real

No one does a stalker anomaly mod showcase channel So I think you should keep these kinds of videos for anomaly going it's nice to see someone showcase them and talk about them and not have to take the risk and see if they're worth it or not
Also because of this video I subscribed to your channel so I think these videos definitely have potential.

I wish for a mod that added faction unique uniforms, not just colors and badges. It's difficult to tell enemies from allies some times.
I mean agree but it would kinda be hard to do cause what more vartions there are for Armored Vests? original game tried to do that but its just different factions have different tiers of armors( loners and bandits kinda have lower tiers armor. ya feel me?)
@@Pr0PanicPhil no really, every time: That stalker is friendly or not? He is a bandit? that monolith dialog is coming from that one? it is friendly fire everywhere I go
Use the 3rd PDA, if it is not on it, kill it.
@@Pr0PanicPhil maybe just different head gear, so the profile sticks out. Bandits use trench coat and caps. Loners use scarfs, dutiers helmets, freedom goggles, monolith hoods etc
Put your reticule over the target; if it turns red, it's an enemy. (Also, it tells you onscreen who they are and their faction) - this is stuff you learn on Day 1 of playing Stalker :/
I would add Escape from Tarkov Russia Bear Voice mod which lets the player speak while killing, reloading, or just screaming your lungs out on your crew NPC's
The STALKER series exemplifies perfectly why I’m a PC gamer first and foremost. It’s a towering example of the power and potential of modding.
I highly anticipate STALKER 2. Do I think it’s going to be anywhere near what the modding community has achieved with the first games, content wise? Not even close, but as long as it brings the foundation of its engine to modern par and opens the doors to the best modders have to offer.....we’re in for one hell of a treat.
I only hope GSC produces an engine that is as good as XRay in flexibility (and is far more stable). The worst thing they can do is make it a script heavy, cinematically focused experience. Hopefully they remember why STALKER is what it is....an emergent playground; a world that doesn’t care about the player and operates independently from them.
Please don’t screw this up GSC, you’ve the potential to make one of the greatest games ever made.
If Stalker 2 has a true open world with no loading screens imo it will be so much more enjoyable and immersive than the stalkers before
The devs are saying they are going all-in with the Alife! So stuff will be simulated outside the player view. Just how deep that system will be I dont know. I also hope they do not put to much story script into it. That's why I think the open ended story they are proposing shouldn't interfere with the emergent aspects of the world like wars between npcs and mutants .. Maby quest npcs will have limited range of movement and be invunerable until a certain point of completion etc....I'd like to see resource systems developed that both the player and npcs interact with and affect. For instance ammo health packs food etc...npcs would actaully have money and use it(and if they ran out they would literally starve to death or get shot because no bullets left to defend themselves...)..Npcs with actually goals that go deeper then move from A to B ...Maby just collecting artifacts and selling them to buy better weapons etc I think stalker 2 will be just a tad better in regards to simulation then stalker fully modded!!

I don't have much knowledge in terms of games engines and their modability, but i know STALKER 2 wont run on a new engine bur rather Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4.

Another bonus to the mags-as-separate-items thing is that it gives the player an incentive to use guns that don't use detachable mags if the player doesn't have enough mags to be effective in a protracted battle. Early on, you might be better off using a plain ol' pump shotgun with a fixed mag tube, a ye olde surplus bolt-action rifle, or a revolver.
There’s only one revolver in the game ands it’s a high tier weapon :/
I wish for a mod to add a body in first person like in Dead Air, for STALKER immersion is a must IMO but aparently it doesnt exist outside of DeadAir although i heard there is in russian and Ray of Hope(?), not sure about those but still, just wished Deadair had a bigger addon list like Anomaly

Just came back to this video to see if I can scrape up some updated mods and remember some of the ones that I forgot. By the way, that magazine mod is AMAZING. I'm so glad that I had the good luck to see this video. The amount of tension that it adds to the early game where every shot counts because you've only got that one magazine is completely addictive to me. So is the feeling of being a god when you finally loot another magazine or getting one from a trader.
note: for the people who will want to install HD models(like the ones in scape from pripyat) can be really tasking on your cpu especially in high npc areas like rostok and army warehouses
second note:use mod manager 2 not the outdated jsgme crap
why should you not use jsgme? i mean sure it looks outdated but it works just fine

the thing I hate the most about anomaly is npc's vs mutants. While npc's are pretty accurate against the player, for some reason against mutants they fucking suck.. sometimes it takes several minutes for a squad of bots to kill a couple dogs.
The death animations addon looks kind of "fake" if it makes sense, from what I can see here shooting a crouched enemy will make them stand up and grip their stomach in pain while collapsing.
that also exist in the original STALKER games, so it's basically part of it.

I'm just gonna drop my Addons recommendations here:
Audio (install these first):
-Yim's Weapon Tweaks (not just audio though, a whole lot of improvements on how weapons work)
-JSRS Sound Overhaul
~You can also install Soundscape but I don't use it because it changes weather sounds and as I am used to storms in the tropics I like them loud and can't hear shit when a heavy rain happens~
-Gas Mask Volume Reduction
-Alternate Player Pain and Death Noises
-Alternative voice acting for Renegades and UNISG
-Controller sound replace (to save your ears from tinnitus irl)
Visual (install after audio):
-HD Models 1.2.1
~there is also another HD Models addon version but I don't use it cause I really do not like the Monolith and CS in that version~
-Particles Redone (this one's rather taxing on performance tho)
-Open Scopes
-SoC Cursor
-Svarog with NV
-NVR/Night Vision alternatives (don't really remember the correct title but it's the one that makes digital NV fully colorized just like irl)
-Sky Bloom Fix
-No Grass and LODs (VERY IMPORTANT as this completely shrinks grass to a pixel, more FPS)
-High Res PDA maps
-Bart's Minimap
-Blue dead body dots in minimap
-Bloodsuckers camouflage
Other Addons:
-No Good Deed Goes Punished
-Immortal Companions (sometimes I don't use it)
-Remove dropping weapons
-Populated Zone and Additional Tweaks

-Peachs Item Icons (use it only when you're new to Anomaly, because it messes up the Trader Complete icons)

2:05 you totally missed a chance to show how bullets sound like when they fly overhead incoming at you.
The mod doesn't only make guns snappy and fakes distant sound, it's best feature is the sonic boom the bullets produce.
It's too bad the magazines mod doesn't work for the 1.5.x versions.

Dead Air is kind of inferior to Anomaly, what with the crashes and what not. Still a good mod in its own right but Anomaly is a lot more stable.

Man, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 has so much to live up to, mainly because the original games have been overhauled and improved to no end thanks to the community, and the developers will undeniably be facing that comparison point.
Imagine the mods for S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 if possible.
STALKER 2 is intended to be an improvement over vanilla STALKER, not the bajillion fan addons

Hey, can you tell me the Nomad suit's files? I just downloaded the Fixed Vanilla Models & Textures addon, while it made other models great, in the Nomad suit's case it was a downgrade, it made it look like just a normal stalker suit, with the OG stalker soc head model and a CS-2a body armor, everything on it is literally from the OG stalker games, its lost the unique looks it had, now i want to delete the files its have on the Nomad suit but heres the problem, i don't know which files are for the Nomad suit.

So I just bought all three games off of GOG. I am looking for a mod for each. Did I waste my money because of this mod?
Don't think it is a waste of money (I played all of them, with and without mods). I would recommend play the games in vanilla form, but if you can't stand the fairly old graphics and gameplay mechanics, I can recommend what I normally use. For SoC I normally install Autumn Aurora mod on it. On CS, I don't usually play it as it is the worst of the three in my opinion, but I think there is also a mod similar to AA and Misery called Mystery or ABR. As for CoP I have two that I normally use. First is Misery mod for hardcore play through. Second and for a more casual play and close to vanilla, I use the following mods: Absolute Nature+Original Weapons Overhaul(Gunslinger might be a good evolution)+Dynamic HUD+Atmosfear(might already be in Absolute Nature mod), basically just a graphical update to the game.
Having the three games will open the doors to a ton of good mods, with hours and hours of enjoyment. Have fun Stalker.

Can you make a tutorial in how to install the mod with and without the JSGME , if not please give us a addon pack or something because no matter how many times i try installing i always encounter random errors and wont start.

I'm coming to Anomaly from Dead Air, and DA comes with mutant bleeding wich i always used to hunt big packs of larger animals like boars in early game without wasting a lot of ammo, i would climb up a tree and pop a few pistol rounds on them and wait. I'm going to make great use of the mutant bleeding mod now in Anomaly

По-моему все эти моды есть в Солянке 2021. Я когда играл замечал: то мутант умрет от кровотечения, то анимация смерти появляются у врагов. Правда не видел пока еще ни одного врага, который бы сдался.
