@Dzie Kuje I have yet to play this mod too. The one i'm playing right now though, Stalker Anomaly 1.5.1, is absolutely incredible. Especially with all the high quality add-ons the community keeps coming out with.

I'm playing Anomaly right now, and while it does have some of this stuff (possibly due to other mods, I don't even remember what I have installed anymore), I gotta say the new animations here are especially sick. Well done, and thanks for bringing us another way to experience the Zone!
Broomsticks and sharp sticks is a mod which added some weapons from other weapon mods with animation, a few of them are taken from gunslinger

EFP is considered the daddy stable modpack which is hitting 2.5 really soon, Provaks modpack is massive but kinda unstable imo, fun !. Anomaly is good but kinda basic , Theres Dead Air which is getting a big update too

This mod is some seriously high quality stuff, the animations are better than what gsc did, and the tacticool upgrade trees are such a treat, the only personal problems i have with the mod is that mutants are really op and that theres no option to play on master difficulty with hud
Aaah thanks ! couldn't figure out why demos had HUD but i was left without ! I mean the immersion is great but for a first playtrough it's nice to have the HUD for bleeding and rads at least ^^ i'll switch to veteran i guess, Did SOC and clear sky with basic ballistic mods cause i can't stand a perfect condition weapon missing target by 3 meters, but for Pripyat i only found gunslinger so i was very happy of the feeling but the lack of HUD felt too much for a first time in this game even with basis from the other games!
To date these games remain my all time favourites. They captured a feel that was so immersive. Just loved exploring around watching ever step and the feeling of finding a decent weapon or mod for the first time was always great. Ahhh i need a pc again.

nice compact video and also the Burers are just really "Great" in this mod especially if you are in Lab X-8 in the Room with 3 of them at the exact time.
P.S. If you really want to have fun playing Gunslinger set the difficulty to master and fight some burers.
Do you have any tips for fighting the burers? I am stuck with a single one, and even on easiest difficulty I find him absolutely impossible to kill. His shield lasts indefinately, he yanks my weapon within a second of seeing me, knife is useless due to shield, grenades does nothing. I think he might be bugged. Do you have any tips for fighting the burers?
@@kareschmidt1163 The thing is Explosives such as a RPGs Rocket ,Grenades and those contact grenades did some wonders for me. Well another reason why i was so succesfull i think was because i rushed in the room with the pin pulled and throwed some greandes in the Burers face disregarding my own Life. So the Key to succes for me was Speed Jumping,Recklessnes and a lot of Saving/Loading.
@@maxpower7145 i just fought one, he survived two direct hits from a rpg and 4 grenades until other stalkers killed it
@@kareschmidt1163 The best thing that worked for me was to use Saiga-12 with Slug or Dart rounds, but the key is to quickly shoot him by leaning from cover using E or Q after you press it. Since I found this method I've never had a problem fighting them bastards again, even on Master difficulty. I hope that helps.

Gunslinger is basically BaS+FDDA nowadays as all development has shifted to Anomaly and those mods retain the core features they had in the original, but just expanded.

This mod is so good. I remember getting for the first time just for the item use animations so they wouldn't be gamey instantaneous things and thus upping strategy and difficulty, but I was not ready for the quality of everything else it offers. Some of the best gun porn out there.

Absolutely awesome mod and thank you so much for tsanslating it!! The only big, VERY BIG problem just is the crashes. When the mod crashes 30 times through one playthrough you can't really recommend a mod to new comers to the series. I really hope they would try to improve the mod since it's just freaking perfect otherwise!
Yeah the crashes of this mod literally made me throw 10 hours of gameplay, it happend in pripyat, because of a stupid black screen bug that happens really frecuently i couldnt continue the campaign anymore, so yeah i had to uninstall the mod and say goodbye to all those hours invested :(
@@uei626 The same happened to me, but after few tries I was able to continue from earlier save. Also changing the settings to dx9 helped somewhat. I also had (what seems) a rare bug in the pripyat section where I didin't get the mercenary mission to start after talking to Garry. Kinda shame but it is what it is i guess.. :/

Yo, i wanted to re-visit the whole series, and this was my only gripe that guns look and feel terrible. This mod looks amazing, is it only for COP or you can find it for the other two games ? Also if you cant run it on the other stalker games, is there alternatives similar to this one for them that re-work the guns in similar way ?

There's also a version of Old Good Stalker Remastered which comes with Gunslinger now (I've been told it's weapon lineup is still pretty minimal compared to the vanilla game.) But OGSR comes with other changes to the vanilla game. There's also Autumn Aurora and AMK Aurora which both overhaul various weapons.
If you're looking for more vanilla there's Memories of The Zone which includes AMK Ballistics as an optional Addon, however there's a bug in the current version; the game crashes near the end if you go for the true ending. Memories of The Zone 2 will be correcting this issue (developments are working on an update for another project).

While not to the same caliber you do have STCS Weapon Pack and Arsenal Overhaul / Arsenal Overhaul Redux.
More recently there's a merge of Mystery's visuals + STCS Weapon Pack, and the recently release Clear Sky ABR (which greatly changes the base game). You also have an optional ballistics overhaul included with standalone SRP 1.1.3/1.1.4

Also it's only the vanilla storyline as for anomaly has its own custom storyline and their own animated guns also keep in mind of the add-ons for anomaly it's crazy how much support it gets if you like the jamming and good weapon animations there is mods for it but hopefully gunslinger is seen outside the vanilla story and in the other stalker modded stories
Story in anomaly is kind of boring, since it makes you do the same things you did in vanilla stalker, just with a different set of lines and characters. Yes, it makes you visit a lot of places, but it doesn't make it interesting. It'll be enough to get by if you've finished all the games a couple of times, but definitely won't substitute the original stories.
@@Barabaw Bingo. Anomaly ends up feeling rather pointless after a while. It's a well done mod, and I'll probably play it again, but the quest lines are rather dull in it. That's my opinion, anyway.
