For roll racing you wanna be in track mode, move gear shift all the way down to S, downshift to desired gear, it will not up shift by itself now, then once you hit it you push the gear select back into D
@@deanojet2991 I have the screenshots, you need to leave the position in s and use track mode. Downshift to activate the manual and learn your shifts for the best gains and results. The car literally will not shift up and redline like that. So you have to learn the shifts. Or do what the other guy said in the comments. Same concept, s and track downshift, run it but slide it to drive after the launch to let the system do the shifts for you safely

The Stang Has modes put it in sport + then shift from drive to sport from there downshift and it won't up shift. Once ur ready just shift the car back to Drive mode and GUN IT ..... IT WILL AUTO SHIFT FOR U AT A HIGHER RPM

I keep seeing these dumb comments about dropping the gear in “S” which stands for select not sport, and then downshift then shift it back into Drive. That doesn’t do anything but wear and tear on your transmission. You just leave it in drive and downshift to the lowest gear then you floor it and the computer takes over.
Stock versus stock they are very close. If you want your car to not up shift on it’s own put it in sport mode🙄 it will not shift until you shift it. When you paddle shift in regular drive it will go back to shifting on its own after about 4-5 seconds if you don’t touch the paddle shifters. If the guy in the mustang knew how to drive his car it wouldn’t have been nearly as close.
I've had an 8 speed 2016 2ss and 2018 GT's both manual and auto. The mustang in both configuration takes the camaro on the top end, but the 10 speed camaro will outpace the 6 speed coyote up to about 110.
Read that earlier maybe as soon as 2022... Ford finally getting smart and dumping the modular and going back to the torque making pushrod. If only they would have kept doing that with the original 5.0 from the late 80’s early 90’s. Ford makes a $100,000 Shelby and still gets beat by the C8 and the red eye🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️

I raced that dude Brandon with the Camaro SS not to long ago in my brothers 2019 GT, video on my channel. We did 2 digs and a roll. At the last fresh to frozen meet I ran a 2011 Bolt on ISF(video on channel) and got him twice and then the ISF ran Brandon and beat him by a bumper and then a half a car. I wanna run Brandon again but in the 2018 Premium I ran the ISF in. I'll probably be running that ISF again too

Own a 19 Camaro SS 6spd. I gapped 3 stock coyotes with my stock Camaro.
Put the car in sport mode and paddle shift to the desired gear..once you floor it bump it back to drive and let that 10 speed eat...your welcome

No, there’s no point of doing that. You just leave it in drive and Downshift to whatever gear you desire. The sport mode doesn’t do anything.
