- This has got to be one of the most fun runs i've ever done in the car before. This 2017 Lamborghini Huracan is one of the nicest cars to make it on video!

Hey everyone! Hopefully Derek pins this.
I’m the Huracan owner. To make it clear I am running into a gearbox module issue unfortunately. It jumped from 4th to 2nd and I am still learning the nuances of Corsa mode so I didn’t want to try that out right away. Huracans are pretty much 100% automatic unless you’re in Corsa, and that requires you to basically stop the car first. So rolling I couldn’t do too much there.
Only owned it for a week, but this is my second Lamborghini, just much much newer.
From a rolling run, obviously the mustang would take it, but I would love to try from a flat stop once I get this little issue looked at. It happens! Had a lot of fun filing this and hopefully down to do more with Derek soon, and before you ask - no, I don’t plan on modding it. I’ve got a 5 year warranty and it doesn’t cover modifications. But I still LOVE this car! Thanks for the kind words from many of you. Happy New Year!
Edit: I’m not going to get into the stock vs modded debate. I think it’s pointless. Of course a modded mustang / any car could outrun a Lamborghini on a gap, especially when there’s a hundred HP difference. I don’t race and never have. Just had some fun!

Actually just looked at your other thing saying problem with the Lamborghini… If you were in fourth and you mad at it it’s supposed to downshift to second… That’s how it works brother. Like I said should’ve started in second when you were in the heart of the power band…. Better get out there instruction manual 😃
Yeah the races were iffy. Lambo Guy didn’t even drop down gears to make it a fair race. But blucifer does look good !
Yeah! Unfortunately I was in automatic and have a slight module issue. Doesn’t even really look like I was racing to be honest. Wouldn’t mind trying it properly starting in second.

@@Chase_Waldo I can try to think of a few tips but tbh I don’t even know how I’ve made it here. I started working when I was 11 and I’ve built skills from there. Mechanics, auto body, welding, electrical, and agriculture. I graduated when i was 17 and worked at McDonald’s for a while then eventually left some time after I was 18. So if I were to give tips. I’d say to research and practice. Watch videos on how to do the things that you wanna do, then find a way to practice them. Like auto body, go to the junkyard and buy a fender off a random car. Or maybe even a hood. Take it home and practice on it over and over. Learn to paint, sand clear coat/paint, mix bondo, mix putty, learn how to sand that bondo and putty, learn how to wet sand. Etc. as for welding, all you need is metal, materials, helmet, gloves, and a machine. You can get decent stuff for cheap if you look and the right places, even the machines, you can find cheap but good used ones. And for metal, start on steel. Aluminum/anything weak and thin, is easy to melt/burn through. Also, start off with MIG welding. I find it to be easiest. But make sure you extensively research any and all questions. Like how to prep metal, what settings to use, etc.

That's why I put my keys in my pocket in these exact situations. You just never know what a person might do. Trust me Ive seen it all. That goes for bikes as well. Take the keys out, and push them to the bottom of your pocket.

Nice runs and this is the same result I’ve had racing my friend in his 15 Huracan. I have a 17 GT with a VMP GEN2R.
There is nothing wrong with the lambo. He probably needs to manually shift it and have it in the right gear next time. The DCT shifts fast but for the rolls manually selecting works better.
I get my friends Huracan 60 - 130 pretty easily. After that he will slowly start reeling me in.
Yeah! Corsa isn’t as cut and dry as it seems. It’s got a learning curve. My older Lamborghini wasn’t fully automatic so this is going to take some time to get used to.

This isn't to say the Lambo isn't a great car because it is. I definitely can't compete with that AWD off the line.

Yeah man, no idea what happened there. It should be more intuitive but it jumped on me. I’ve had the issue before. Thankfully it’s under warranty so it’s going to get checked out!
This is another reason I like a true manual trans. Don't gotta worry about the car shifting right or any trans tuning or the like it's all on you as a driver. It's so satisfying Rev matching that downshift to get into the right gear just before a run. I got that driver mod too. I'd like to run Derek I have a 750ish rwhp 07 gt500 with the same blower also on 93/boostane. I'm in southwest VA he's near Richmond I do believe.
