If you can go see Dimash in concert, go for it! I haven't been able to yet. Saving up for it! Yes, Dimash is always polite and respectful. He has songs in so many genres. You'll have to take a look at a sampling of them! Dimash loves his older Dears as much as his younger ones. When I had only first discovered Dimash a couple years ago I saw a lovely series of pictures that made me love and respect him. There was a crowd to see him as he was walking by and an old lady took his hand and kissed it. Dimash smiled at her and then kissed her hand in return. It was so beautiful I said, "This is the kind of person I want to be a fan of." I hope you will react to many more of his songs. Take a look at one of his very recent ones which he did for the very first time at his most recent concert. There are only fancams right now, but there is a video waiting to be released. I don’t want to recommend a song because every song is unique and outstanding in its own way. Just go to his channel choose any of it and you’ll be amazed. The concert in Hungary Budapest… if it is possible for you just go to it. I promise you it’s the biggest gift you can give yourself. To witness Dimash live in concert is a lifetime experience. I‘m 52 and he outdid every concert I’ve been to before.

His biggest fanbase is in China and the Chinese Dears are the youngest fans, basically his age or younger. Dimash is fluent in two languages. Russian and his native tongue Kazakh. His English is also very good and he is constantly improving it. He also knows and understands a few words and sentences in Mandarin. In the meantime he can sing in about 15 or 16 languages, but he does it phonetically. He sang this song as a guest at the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus 2018. It’s an International Festival of Arts and a contest for young singers, which he won in 2015. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. Also the fact that he can sing in that many different languages is incredible. Dimash doesn't speak all of the languages he sings in. He speaks Kazakh, Russian, English, a little Chinese, but he will learn songs in the language of the country he has concerts in. He learns these songs phonetically, I believe. You are right that he is a once-in-a-lifetime artist. I love that you recognise his amazing talent & are becoming a Dear! Dimash does not like that some artists become arrogant & says they are human, just like others & that they should always remember that it's their audience who make them famous & successful and Dimash never ceases to thank his Dears for their love & support as without them he wouldn't be doing what he loves to do. It shows is diverse voice all the way to the end. He is an amazing performer whose fans, "Dears", absolutely love him. There is a deep love between him and his audience, and it shows. Absolutely the best singer I have seen in my 40+ years. I'm new to his music (thanks to Peter Barber for that). I grew up with Pavarotti, Jonas Kaufman, Placido Domingo, and I can still remember seeing Jessye Norman for the first time in 1996. I was (and still am) obsessed with Enya, Sarah Brightman, and Tarja Turunen. Dimash encompasses ALL OF THEM plus his own style that transcends standard classical crossover. He is something generations to come will strive to match, yet I feel it will take another 100 years to find another like Dimash. We are truly blessed to be in the same generation as this man.
He played his future with this song in the first round of singing show for pro artists The Singer, shown nationwide in China . He instantly blew up as a star back then.

Someone probably already told you this, but Dimash’s mom is an opera singer, and his dad is also a musician. I guess when he was quite young (like 5) they realized he had perfect pitch. He and his sister (not sure if there are more siblings) were trained as singers and musicians from the moment they were able to grasp the concept, and you can see he’s worked hard on his vocals all his life. He was offered a position with the Astana Opera, but chose to go off on his own and do his own thing, which seems to be mostly neoclassical music. If you watch Sinful Passion, at the end you’ll see Igor Krutoy rise to start the standing ovation. Krutoy is a Russian composer, and he came out of retirement to work with Dimash after that concert. Their collaborations include Stranger, which you’ve heard, Ogni Pietra (Olympico), Ave Maria, and a bunch of other brilliant pieces. Dimash is also a composer/songwriter. Unforgettable day is his, as is El Amor En Ti (not sure I got that right). Anyway, you’re in for a fun ride with Dimash. I’d really love to see you react to his recent duet with Placido Domingo-the Pearl Fisher’s Duet. Great reaction, Casper!! This is fun. Dimash's mother is a pop and folk singer along with his dad. She sings with the Aktobe Philharmonic Society, which is a choir. She is not an opera singer.
@@lkayhSome people think being a classical trained singer is the same as being an opera singer because they sing in the same style as an opersinger. An operasinger is trianed for at least 5 years to sing without amplification so the voice carries over a philarmonic orchestra, while the singer needs to do acting on stage, moving, lying down etc for several hours if it is a major part of an opera. No doubt both Sveta and Dimash would have been able to go through that training. Sveta was a teacher and Dimash declined to study to become an operasinger at the Astana opera. There are severl operasingers who sometimes sing popmuaic but I have NEVER heard someone transition so freely between genres as Dimash. And absolutely not within the same song 😂.

SOS amazes me every time I hear it over and over again. This one will never bore me and you will very soon notice, there are multiple awsome SOS versions. He was one of the judges at a classic competition on the last two Fridays. Humble and so proud of newcomers. He also did a duet with the famous Placido Domingo and another one with a little girl, Placido junior and 2 other female singer. I highly recommend to watch the complete show. It was amazing. And lastly go to his concert, you will never be witnessing something so magic, than his concerts. Even months later I was on cloud nine 😂.

Go to Budapest! Go, go, go! 😊😁 It is a experience you will never forget! John Reeves is a reactor that went to Hong Kong just to be in Dimash's concert. He loved it and met with some of the dears there. I travel from Brazil to Germany on March, 2022 and then to Kazakhstan on September, 2022 for his concerts and it worthy each penny I spent. 😁🥰🥰🥰 I can remember each note, each song! After 5 days in Budapest, I am going to Vienna 4 days, Prague 4 days, Amsterdam 5 days, Paris 5 days, London 5 days. Loved you going back for a second viewing 🤣 I agree with a lot of what was said. I think signing to a record company would be the worst thing for him at this stage in his career. That being said however, as a long term Dear it's obvious that many opportunities for him are being missed, there's absolutely no official merch available anywhere. The only place it was ever available was at the Dubai concert and it pretty much sold out so we thought it would become a regular thing but unfortunately not. Lots of unofficial merch is available but none of that revenue goes to Dimash. He also does very few interviews or TV appearances but we've noticed that whenever he does, there's always an influx of new fans. Although his English has improved to the extent that he can now hold an interview in English it would definitely help him if he were to work on it just a little more. He's very good at being the face of brands in Kazakhstan. Like the luxury car brand Xceed, Oppo phones, Tassay Water etc and in China he gets given most of his clothing as it's pure advertising just for him to be wearing them. He does love his designer brands however and he could easily represent the labels he frequently wears. He's become even better looking as he's gotten older and his stage presence is through the roof, of a level that he can only be compared to Elvis or Freddie Mercury at this point. As much as I love his commitment to his family, at this point in his career he needs a world class team to work alongside him to just get him over that step from global artist to the worldwide mega star that he should be.
As a brand manager you should know DIMASH is the TOTAL PACKAGE. But as a "Master of All Trades" it is hard to market that, compared to a product targeted for a specific demograph. Could you do a vid 🙏 of how to "market" DIMASH in the 🇺🇸?? He is an independent artist and doesn't need it. But one of his goals is to win an Oscar. I think a James Bond movie theme is the perfect showcase for American promotion. What do you think?❤
Ummmm where have you been? LOL . Dimash is certainly one of a kind unicorn when it comes to vocals. So happy you’ve discovered him!!! Seriously so many wonderful songs… beautiful ballads such as Autumn strong, and love of swan… you must listen to Opera 2 and of course Unforgettable day.. which he wrote at the age of 19. This song, I believe he sings up to a D8… which is whistle register. Off the piano note :) A beautiful man, artist - and yes very number. You should def see his concert if you can. He doesn’t do too many…. He’s currently on Virtuoso - a talent show for young artist. Praying for him to come back to the states one day……

If you can go see Dimash in concert, go for it! I haven't been able to yet. Saving up for it! Yes, Dimash is always polite and respectful. He has songs in so many genres. You'll have to take a look at a sampling of them! Dimash loves his older Dears as much as his younger ones. When I had only first discovered Dimash a couple years ago I saw a lovely series of pictures that made me love and respect him. There was a crowd to see him as he was walking by and an old lady took his hand and kissed it. Dimash smiled at her and then kissed her hand in return. It was so beautiful I said, "This is the kind of person I want to be a fan of." I hope you will react to many more of his songs. Take a look at one of his very recent ones which he did for the very first time at his most recent concert. There are only fancams right now, but there is a video waiting to be released. It's called "When I've Got You". Also take a look at some of his Kazakh folk songs.And don't worry if you'll never be able to sing like Dimash. Nobody else will either! 🤣 Enjoy!

His biggest fanbase is in China and the Chinese Dears are the youngest fans, basically his age or younger. He is very humble, Dears met him in airports and loved giving him gifts, shirts, caps, jackets, jewelries, coz he wears them. He is always presented traditional musical instruments by Dears whichever country he goes. Dimash is fluent in two languages. Russian and his native tongue Kazakh. His English is also very good and he is constantly improving it. He also knows and understands a few words and sentences in Mandarin. In the meantime he can sing in about 15 or 16 languages, but he does it phonetically.
He sang this song as a guest at the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus 2018. It’s an International Festival of Arts and a contest for young singers, which he won in 2015.
SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione.
SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time.

Here he sings in a competition for young musicians, called New Wave in Sochi, Russia. He was there in 2018 as a guest.
The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.
If possible, always watch the videos from start to finish. Very often there are interesting things to learn. Either there’s something to laugh about, or he’s talking to his audience. He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. When he is praised, he constantly says that it is thanks to his teachers and his parents, who made it all possible for him. He’s just incredible.

Dimash doesn't speak all of the languages he sings in. He speaks Kazakh, Russian, English, a little Chinese, but he will learn songs in the language of the country he has concerts in. He learns these songs phonetically, I believe. You are right that he is a once-in-a-lifetime artist. I love that you recognise his amazing talent & are becoming a Dear!
Dimash does not like that some artists become arrogant & says they are human, just like others & that they should always remember that it's their audience who make them famous & successful and Dimash never ceases to thank his Dears for their love & support as without them he wouldn't be doing what he loves to do.

Dimash is a musical Olympian. He trains like it, and he sings every genre imaginable in many different languages. Keep watching him, Sir. You will always be amazed. May I suggest "El Amor En Ti" ? It shows is diverse voice all the way to the end. He is an amazing performer whose fans, "Dears", absolutely love him. There is a deep love between him and his audience, and it shows. Absolutely the best singer I have seen in my 40+ years. I'm new to his music (thanks to Peter Barber for that). I grew up with Pavarotti, Jonas Kaufman, Placido Domingo, and I can still remember seeing Jessye Norman for the first time in 1996. I was (and still am) obsessed with Enya, Sarah Brightman, and Tarja Turunen. Dimash encompasses ALL OF THEM plus his own style that transcends standard classical crossover. He is something generations to come will strive to match, yet I feel it will take another 100 years to find another like Dimash. We are truly blessed to be in the same generation as this man.
He played his future with this song in the first round of singing show for pro artists The Singer, shown nationwide in China . He instantly blew up as a star back then.

Someone probably already told you this, but Dimash’s mom is an opera singer, and his dad is also a musician. I guess when he was quite young (like 5) they realized he had perfect pitch. He and his sister (not sure if there are more siblings) were trained as singers and musicians from the moment they were able to grasp the concept, and you can see he’s worked hard on his vocals all his life. He was offered a position with the Astana Opera, but chose to go off on his own and do his own thing, which seems to be mostly neoclassical music. If you watch Sinful Passion, at the end you’ll see Igor Krutoy rise to start the standing ovation. Krutoy is a Russian composer, and he came out of retirement to work with Dimash after that concert. Their collaborations include Stranger, which you’ve heard, Ogni Pietra (Olympico), Ave Maria, and a bunch of other brilliant pieces. Dimash is also a composer/songwriter. Unforgettable day is his, as is El Amor En Ti (not sure I got that right). Anyway, you’re in for a fun ride with Dimash.

Dimash's mother is a pop and folk singer along with his dad. She sings with the Aktobe Philharmonic Society, which is a choir. She is not an opera singer.

@@lkayhSome people think being a classical trained singer is the same as being an opera singer because they sing in the same style as an opersinger. An operasinger is trianed for at least 5 years to sing without amplification so the voice carries over a philarmonic orchestra, while the singer needs to do acting on stage, moving, lying down etc for several hours if it is a major part of an opera. No doubt both Sveta and Dimash would have been able to go through that training. Sveta was a teacher and Dimash declined to study to become an operasinger at the Astana opera. There are severl operasingers who sometimes sing popmuaic but I have NEVER heard someone transition so freely between genres as Dimash. And absolutely not within the same song 😂.

SOS amazes me every time I hear it over and over again. This one will never bore me and you will very soon notice, there are multiple awsome SOS versions. He was one of the judges at a classic competition on the last two Fridays. Humble and so proud of newcomers. He also did a duet with the famous Placido Domingo and another one with a little girl, Placido junior and 2 other female singer. I highly recommend to watch the complete show. It was amazing. And lastly go to his concert, you will never be witnessing something so magic, than his concerts. Even months later I was on cloud nine 😂.

I travel from Brazil to Germany on March, 2022 and then to Kazakhstan on September, 2022 for his concerts and it worthy each penny I spent. 😁🥰🥰🥰 I can remember each note, each song!

Hello Casper: I've been listening to Dimash for about two years and I am beyond excited to tell you I am going to Budapest for the May concert. I can't believe it is actually happening. After 5 days in Budapest, I am going to Vienna 4 days, Prague 4 days, Amsterdam 5 days, Paris 5 days, London 5 days. Want more of Dimash? I would recommend "Confessa and the Diva Dance". Of course everybody who knows "The fifth Element" knows the "Diva Dance" (the song the Alien sang), but "Confessa" is also awesome . Such a beautiful and heartbreaking love song he sings in Mandarin and Italien. Just listen and enjoy ❤

I agree with a lot of what was said. I think signing to a record company would be the worst thing for him at this stage in his career.
That being said however, as a long term Dear it's obvious that many opportunities for him are being missed, there's absolutely no official merch available anywhere. The only place it was ever available was at the Dubai concert and it pretty much sold out so we thought it would become a regular thing but unfortunately not.
Lots of unofficial merch is available but none of that revenue goes to Dimash.
He also does very few interviews or TV appearances but we've noticed that whenever he does, there's always an influx of new fans.
Although his English has improved to the extent that he can now hold an interview in English it would definitely help him if he were to work on it just a little more.
He's very good at being the face of brands in Kazakhstan. Like the luxury car brand Xceed, Oppo phones, Tassay Water etc and in China he gets given most of his clothing as it's pure advertising just for him to be wearing them. He does love his designer brands however and he could easily represent the labels he frequently wears.
He's become even better looking as he's gotten older and his stage presence is through the roof, of a level that he can only be compared to Elvis or Freddie Mercury at this point.
As much as I love his commitment to his family, at this point in his career he needs a world class team to work alongside him to just get him over that step from global artist to the worldwide mega star that he should be.
As a brand manager you should know DIMASH is the TOTAL PACKAGE. But as a "Master of All Trades" it is hard to market that, compared to a product targeted for a specific demograph. Could you do a vid 🙏 of how to "market" DIMASH in the 🇺🇸??
He is an independent artist and doesn't need it. But one of his goals is to win an Oscar.

Ummmm where have you been? LOL . Dimash is certainly one of a kind unicorn when it comes to vocals. So happy you’ve discovered him!!! Seriously so many wonderful songs… beautiful ballads such as Autumn strong, and love of swan… you must listen to Opera 2 and of course Unforgettable day.. which he wrote at the age of 19. This song, I believe he sings up to a D8… which is whistle register. Off the piano note :) A beautiful man, artist - and yes very number. You should def see his concert if you can. He doesn’t do too many…. He’s currently on Virtuoso - a talent show for young artist. Praying for him to come back to the states one day……
