What you see is not an ordinary singer. He is a MASTER and MONSTER in his field (singing). Singing not only his life but also his education. HE IS EVIDENCE OF SUCCESS IN MUSIC EDUCATION.
Kudaibergen completed the Broadway Musical master class in 2009. In 2014 he graduated in Classical Music (Bel Canto) from the music department of the University of K. Zhubanov in Aktobe. He graduated from the Kazakh National University of Art in Astana where he graduated on 27 June 2018 with the Vocal Department.

That's an E5, bro, and I'm about to hook you up with some info:
(this explanation was posted on another voice coachs's page)
Dimash’s tribal/ethnic riff while singing Sinful Passion… was a tribute/ paying respect to Batyr Shukenov, who died in 2015. Batyr was another famous Kazakh singer, the original singer of this song and member of the same A’Studio band that is accompanying Dimash on the stage. That singing style is an improvisation of ‘zhoktau’ (means crying for a departed person), a traditional Kazakh grief singing by women at funerals. Zhoktau (‘weeping’) is a memorial song by the Kazakhs. Zhoktau is the oldest genre of the poetry of nomadic tribes, preserved and passed into the life of the Kazakh people. Traditionally, it contains verses and tex the expressed sorrow about the person who has died, recalling the good deeds he performed

So 8:36 from my knowledge, you're spot-on that it is actually his larynx that is controlling that vibrato BUT Dimash is so skilled with controlling his vocal muscles that his tongue is affected by the powerful motions of his larynx when in a destressed position.
Btw as someone who fell in this rabbit hole that the YT algo thrust upon me for the last 4 hours, you have as much if not more insightful vocal analysis than most vocal coaches that I've watched. Came for the hype, stayed for the education.

The man in the white shirt giving a standing ovation where you paused at the end is Igor Krutoy. A famous Russian composer. After this performance, he came out of retirement to work with Dimash. In many of the newer videos, the music is written for Dimash by Krutoy, and has Krutoy playing the piano on stage for Dimash. Personally, one of the best collaborations in history.

The special throat vocal he did near the end was indicative of Dimash's Kazakh culture and it is somewhat like the Mongol's tribal throat singing. For Ogni Pietra, I would recommend the fancam version only to verify that he is indeed singing live.
otherwise take the version from his channel with much better audio.
Oh, and there is his cover version of "Hello" by Lionel Richie, where he does more incredible stuff.
In "Love is like a dream" he is singing like the angels.
And in the live recording of "Unforgettable day" (the version fom the GAKKU TV concert), he hits the top of his range, which sounds more like a dolphin than a human.

A note from another reactor to Dimash - There is a school of training in Asia that trains the hand movements - first, pointing hands in a direction for upcoming notes (point up with extended fingers for high notes, move hands out and open or close for upcoming changes in voice, etc. Look at his hand movements as directions or warnings for upcoming singing changes! HIS HANDS ARE VERY MUCH A PART OF HIS STAGE PRESENCE You are the first reactor that has caught this.Look at opening his hand with out the mic for significant changes in up / down register (voices). He composed all the songs for the movie but I’ve only heard this one at this time & it is such a beautiful song! I’ve been listening to Dimash since 2017 and I became hopelessly hooked the first time I heard his heavenly voice singing SOS on the Chinese competition show “ I am Singer “. 😊

The highest note he reaches at the end of the run was a B flat 5. The pianist was probably stunned by this performance; he wrote this song, and the original singer died in a car accident. Dimash reinterpreted the song, and added the “funeral melisma” (that oriental sounding portion) towards the end in homage of that singer. The original band was a Kazak band called A-1 Studio and you can find the original song on UA-cam (same title, with the same “ Boring” piano player!)
To be blown away again, I suggest you listen to Daybreak Bastau. There were 35,000 people there. It is mind blowing. Make sure to turn on the subtitles. And Diva Dance from the same concert.

I agree with Raimundai and Alaa, it helps to know the backstory , but to know it you have to watch on Gloria Wu’s channel the Singer 2017 version of Daybreak, which is when Dimash was sick and had problems with his voice. So I suggest you watch the Gloria Wu’s version for yourself, and then react to the Bastau version of Daybreak; you will not lose any of the WOW factor!

I've seen a lot of requests for Dimash scattered all over the board. There's some background you should know:
Opera 2: The original song is by Vitas, who is Russian. He allowed Dimash to sing it and never allowed him to sing it again, threatening legal action, all because Dimash sang it better and went higher than Vitas LIVE with no autotune (I think).
Ogni Pietra: it's straigh up opera. Incredibly deep bass then super high soprano. The language is Italian.
Contessa/The Diva Dance: Italian then just crazy vocals. Again, he goes super deep belting then super high belting then staccato highs and runs and....just madness. I've seen other reactors say his highest note in this song is an extremely high D8, if that makes any sense to you.
Enjoy your newly found rabbit hole. It's an insane journey we are all wanting to go on with you.

Originally the song Sinful Passion was written and performed by a very popular pop music group, A-Studio. A Russian-based Kazakh band. Dimash is doing a cover . The piano player here, is an original member of the band. “Sinful Passion” ("Greshnaya Strast” in Russian) was first time performed by the band in 1998.Batyrkhan Kamaluly Shukenov was a singer, musician, composer, and poet. After leaving the group in 2000, Batyrkhan began his solo career. . Unfortunately Batyrkhan Shukenov died at age 52 from a heart attack. I have read the lament (similar to a muslim call to prayer ) Dimash added to the piece is in honour/ memory of him.

Re his hands... on another review I watched by a vocal coach, she said singers are encouraged to make a sort of mental picture of their notes and often use their hands to help 'place' the notes. She said you'll often see singers pinch their thumbs and forefingers together to help with this. However as Dimash throws every bit of himself into his music, he may not even need this little coaching tip.

First of all, thank you so much for your reaction!! It was a pleasure once again! Now, for some musical details you asked about.
While in his soprano register, the high note in the end of the phrase is an E6. He also sang it in SOS (in the middle part) and in many of his songs, the E6 is not an uncommon note for him. He is also able to sing an F6, before braking into whistle (where he has sung up to a D8 in one particular performance), so E6 is not his limit by any means. Note that an E6 is a mighty difficult note even for classic sopranos to hit. Super hard and you won't find classical pieces having a sustained E6 too often.
That other amazing note he is hitting with his operatic tenor register is a C5 (where you commended about him giving all his power). This is also a very hard note for every classical tenor. Dimash's C5 sounds just so gorgeous, in my opinion it's up there with the great tenors in terms of depth, quality and timber. Dimash can go on full operatic deep sounding tenor up to a D5, which is really crazy. After that, he passes on to a more crisp and open pop sound.
So, after that C5, he goes into a D5 and takes a breath right before starting an E5, climbing up to a mindboggling Bb5 (just a tone before the soprano high C, aka C6), which is stratospherically high for a mixed belt, even for female singers. And not only that, but he is sustaining it for so long, following this with a pentatonic run, which by itself is another crazy hard thing to do. A pentatonic run means it's on a pentatonic scale, and not on the E flat minor that the piece was modulated to as he hits the Bb5 (the song starts in A minor). It's so hard to pinpoint down the notes on such a fast pentatonic run, but it sounds so nice, doesn't it?
I highly recommend watching "Ogni Pietra" (aka Olympico). This song is to me the best moment in Dimash's career so far. There are many versions around, but I think this particular one is the best and most engaging, with the best arrangement and a very powerful stage presence by Dimash:

Dimash picks a song, execute it , does it in his own Dimash's way and it becomes the most beautiful thing you've ever heard. He makes every song extraordinary and unique. No one else can sing his songs. No one can repeat his performances. You don't need to know the language, to be able to feel the emotions, which he inject into the audience with his incredible talent to recreates the text and the melody into a body dance. He sings with his hands, with his eyes, with his whole body. He just becomes the song. That's Dimash. Each new performance is unexpected and explosive. He is unique. I can't get enough of him.

Thank you again for reacting to Dimash. Dimash sings with his entire being. His hands are just an extension of the song. The note you were asking about is an E6, and not his highest note, by a couple octaves. Yes, it is 25 seconds, there are no breaths. 😁 The gentleman at the keyboard is Baigali Serkebayev from the band A-Studio, and is the one that wrote this song. The guitar player and the bass guitar player in this video are also in A-Studio. This song was originally performed by them 30 years ago. Looking forward to seeing more from you. Stay safe, and healthy! Blessing to you!

He is not boring, he’s just very focused on accompanying Dimash, it’s not so easy, believe me. He respects and supports Dimash very much, they are both from Kazakhstan. Believe me, everyone still talks about Igor Krutoy, he is also a songwriter and plays the piano when Dimash sings his songs. But they just take their work very seriously. And Igor Krutoy also respects and appreciates Dimash !!!

djohnbb Maybe he was just stunned by what Dimash did with this song. If you listen to the original song, it does not have the funeral chant (the yodelling or glottal stops) and the belt and runs at the end. Dimash added those.

For added context, the backing band are the original artist who wrote and performed this song. This bands lead singer had passed away, and Dimash honored him with this performance. That unusual part before the ending belt is a Khazak funeral chant....this was Dimash’s way of honoring a fellow countryman. You are going to find out that in many cases, there are background stories to the songs that create added sensitivity to what he is singing. Dimash sings songs that move him emotionally......and he translates this emotion to his audience. I have seen more people cry reacting to Dimash than any other artist. Your journey is just beginning....it will be a magical ride

Thank you for your super full comments, I love it, I know this song in every detail, you still make me discover new things. If you react on Ogni Pietra (Olimpico), I recommend the fancam version because we see it in close-up all along and it's great. It is with this chnason that he won the Russian award for the best opera singer 2019 and he sang it for the 1st time for the opening of the European games. I would like you to react then (you're not going to stop there !!!!) on "Unforgettable day" of which he is the author, concert version of Gakku. The last time, I forgot to tell you that he was an excellent dancer .... I await the continuation !!!! Cuckoo of France
