- While fashion for some has come to a standstill, celebrities of the mainstream and digital kind alike are still turning looks, or at least attempting to. So we thought we'd look at some of their covers, Instagram pictures, and UA-cam videos to see if they're spending their quarantine time in style or at least attempting to. And well, some of them shockingly are, others unshockingly are not. We talked about new up and coming brands, the way that fashion photography may move forward in a COVID-19 world, and the important of fashion media displaying that masks can be chic, for everyone's safety.

Dua Lipa has the same issue that Taylor Swift does: they’re both pretty girls who have never had to develop fashion taste because they don’t need to. When you’re young, skinny and white there no impetus on you to change it up. That’s why Taylor Swift has never truly given a “Lewk”-look.

Americans are very confused by Europeans from the Balkans and Eastern Europe, as they don't fit the 'white' mold they created for Anglo people. I'm Eastern European and Americans think I'm mixed with Asian, but I'm literally just EE white. We're a 'different' white but we're white nontheless. The same applies to the Kardashians.
Not sure the white part has much to do with it but I do agree that many times tall skinny girls can look good in almost anything so they don't have to look out for very fashionable items. People sometimes tell me I am very fashionable, but I mostly got into fashion because I am very short and have a really young looking face. If just wear normal looking clothes I look like a kid. Wearing more fashionable clothes makes me look older, more mature and people actually notice me more.
Taylor swift is relevant because she’s a genius at what she does: making music. While I’d be VERY happy if she serves us looks, I won’t hate on her if she doesn’t because that’s not her main job. Same for dua, as long as they keep making good music I’m good.
Not sure this is always true. Its typically the best looking people that tend to wear the best clothes ,hair and make up as well.

I guarantee Marie Clare didn't have anything to fit Ms. Thee Stallion 💜💜💜. She probably showed up in that outfit and had to use it because they only had sample sizes. She probably had to do her own hair and make up because some mua and hairstylist act like they can't work w/ textured hair or darker skin.

I just collaborate with some MUAs, because I decided another career path so I just help in some editorials/FW, but I did take the time to learn how to work on brown/black skins. I'm whiter than white and I usually hear either "I will do my own skin" or "I can't believe you can do my skin!"

26:00 - the word you're looking for is "Basting". that's what that stitching is called. it's used in tailoring to hold fabrics together before they're sewn properly. in fine tailoring it's suuuuuper important to keep things lined up properly and prevent shifting etc. during the fitting and sewing process.

with respect to the diordan: mj is notoriously controlling about his brand and his merchandise so i would bet that the dior logo in the nike swoosh was all mj would allow when concerning changing the design of the shoe. especially that model of jordan, in particular.

Weekend’s Celine suit is a “sparkle” printed fabric from what I can tell.
And earlier in the video, the fabric on the brown two-piece lounge set is that Teddy Bear stuff all the coats were made of last year or whatever. It’s eltist because that fabric adds pounds to your frame. Unless you’re tiny or have a trainer you’re going to look like an adult playing a baby Teddy Bear for Halloween by modding massive footie jammies.
