As an ATC cadet in the 60,s I had a very exciting summer camp at RAF Waddington , it was an active bomber base then , wall to wall V bombers , one cadet in each squadron had a flight in a Vulcan , sadly not I , most days there were aircraft flights , it was one of the best weeks of my life !
Saw the delta lady at waddington on the sunday.best display to date in my humble opinion.....totally agree re the garden furniture ie parasols being displayed on the front of the crowdline especially when left unattended and with the occassional strong breeze it doesnt leave much to the imagination...parasol strikes arent what we pay to see......daveynewton93

I remember them a Goose Bay Labrador. The howl was more intense there during the winter at -30 degrees.
