I dont know what it means to subscribe, but I wateched and saw what you siad and my f series has a problem, and I guess I messed up cleaning the fuses. The trukc is thirty and it has not diagram and I am guessing what fuse is which and if I messed up good but what the hay: nothing easy is rewarding as what is so damned difficult to fix. So the mess needs fixing as hand signals sounds old fashioned but what the hay, it reminds me of the days in the late fifties when I had an old car and it worked sort of and I had to learn on the job what to fix as it went bad. Good memories of life in the olden days. joe

Hey, just used your tail light replacement video. I have the same truck, mine entire enclosure needed replacing so your video was perfect. Not sure if you can help, but I have a kenwood stereo in mine that recently began displaying an error: miswiring dc offset error. Actually, in South Florida, perhaps 99% of Drivers don't even know that "blinkers" exist. And, that might measure to 75% of Police drivers. Police seem to think they're due special road privileges like driving through STOPS with flashing lights, or a HONK. (YES, Police here do have a very tough job with such a diverse population.) Most of which haven't more than 1-4 years experience driving on American roadways.) It's hell everywhere, everywhere! Too many driver think for themselves but not for the drivers around them. Bunch of Zero's!.
Recently got my engine replaced and mechanic mention they had to start up the battery because it had died before working on it, when I got my car back (jeep liberty 2004) blinkers, ceiling top lights, stereo, and car alarm not working. He couldn't do anything for me when I took it back, im wondering if maybe when they started the battery back up these things burnt out? Because before they were working. What do you recommend? My right blinker blinks really fast and the left one doesn't light up at all. Do you think I should start by trying to replace the bulbs? The fuses seem to be okay according to mechanic
Aliah castillo It sounds like you need a new mechanic. Typically if your blinkers blink really fast, one of the bulbs is out. Replace the one that isn’t working at all first. It may make the other one work properly.
@@TightWadDIY he told me he doesn't have an electrical machine in order to test if any wires are bad, that if he tried figuring out why these things aren't working that he'd have to start from scratch (unsure what he meant by that) he advised me to go see an electrician. I don't understand how these things would stop working after getting an engine replaced and how he wouldn't know how to help me out
Aliah castillo I don’t know the full situation but I suggest taking it to a reputable mechanic and tell them what work you have had done. If they link your current issues to the previous work, I would ask the first mechanic to cover the cost of repairs.

When they called said it was ready, I picked it up started driving only to realize....my blinkers, hazards, speedometer, radio, what gear u am in all do not work. Along with my airbag light is lit up on dashboard. They had it additional 3 days and fixed nothing. So I got to figure out the many problems they sent me out with which were Never a problem before. Pretty upset. If they dont jnow how to fix what you messed up, maybe you shouldn't be doing that job.
I have 2013 Kia Soul. The exterior front right turn signal light does not light up. The rear right turn signal flashes quickly as well as on the dash. The left turn signal front/rear flash normally. With the Hazards activated all the lights work including the exterior front right signal light. What do I need to replace or do?

Hi, I hava a simlar problem with my Toyota Celica St16 (1986) With the original Flasher: When turning left signal, Buzzer noise is heard. Turn right signal is working good. Already replaced the original Flasher with a new one, but then the left and right turn signal does not light up on dashboard.. Checked and replaced also the fuse 7.5A Buzz noise is gone. Hazard lights working well Any suggestions? I have a video, how can i upload it so you can hear the problem.
That was an easy fix .. on mine i get this buzzing noise when i try the directional . and sometimes it works and sometimes just the buzz sound. does that sound more like the hazard switch ? if the fuse was out i dont think it would work at all .. im trying to trouble shoot the problem to see if i can fix this or not myself. Found it slightly funny that you mention all numbers on fuses facing the same way, while looking directly at a row of fuses where the numbers are definitely not facing the same way... 🤔
Gabriel Reny There are several forums discussing the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee turn signal issues. It looks like the relay is the most common problem for that model.

if it were only that simple......CAN module SAM module etc etc are most often reasons. If your fuse is burnt there is something wrong that needs checking to prevent same in future
Sounds like you have a wire after the fuse that has the insulation worn off and touching something metal in your vehicle. Need to find that 'short' and tape it up with electrical tape. Hope that helps.

Sometimes the fuses simply don't work (also keep in mind it might have burned out a little where it isn't visible in the strip). There's also the issue of corrosion.
Both of my turn signals and hazard lights do not work at all and when I move the stick up or down it makes a loud continuing static noise. My guess is that it's the flash relay but I'm not sure......
Joyce Grigsby First off, nice ride! It’s either bulb that’s out or a blown fuse. I don’t know where the fuses are located on the prowler but the owners manual should say.
@@Jay-pf2jz parts store say, don't have access to the relay under dash. I'm not sure if there is a relay under dash. I replaced flasher at fuse box,no different. I think it's the mechanism in steering wheel. Inspection coming up or I'd keep using hand signals.
Astra Zareno That is incorrect. The label for the fuse is under the fuse on the diagram. It’s the third fuse in the fourth slot because one is empty. The first 15AMP fuse.

Once replaced you turn them the opposite direction.

mine out of the blue stopped working, both sides, no lights on the dash, but when you hit the emergency flashers you can see the lights on dash blink

Always count the spaces, not the fuses. There was a blank space. I pulled the correct one.

It’s hard to say. It doesn’t sound like a fuse issue since you do get a response when you try to use the blinkers.

It sounds like you have a short in a wire causing it to blow the fuse.
My blinkers only work when the hazard button is pressed but hazards don't work

My fuse is good and I changed the blinker bulb, but the blinker still doesn't work on the right front.
Kenn Tollens If your other blinkers work then you have a wiring issue with that blinker.

Hmmm…sounds like a short. See if you can locate the ground wire for that circuit.
you pulled the third fuse not the fourth.
There is a blank spot which should be counted.

Did you try replacing the bulb? It could be bad.

@@Jay-pf2jz parts store say, don't have access to the relay under dash. I'm not sure if there is a relay under dash. I replaced flasher at fuse box,no different. I think it's the mechanism in steering wheel. Inspection coming up or I'd keep using hand signals.
You picked the wrong fused it’s the 3rd one it should be the 4th one
Astra Zareno That is incorrect. The label for the fuse is under the fuse on the diagram. It’s the third fuse in the fourth slot because one is empty. The first 15AMP fuse.

Astra Zareno Have you already replaced the fuse? If not, try that first. Make sure it’s fully seated properly.
