- We have had such an amazing time working on Crypt of the NecroDancer that we thought we’d let you take a peek behind the scenes to see how it all went down! We took the game to festivals all around the world, meeting fans, making lifelong friends, and learning how to make the game the best it could be. We hope you enjoy our minidocumentary! Here’s to two and a half years that none of us will ever forget.

Congrats on being the 1% of devs that complete their games.
For a minute I thought you meant beating all the modes and characters and I was going to be super impressed, but then I realized that you just meant putting in lots of content for a finished game.
I know Im pretty randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to stream new series online ?

I wanna see Deadringer as a secret boss and he just drops giant bells from the roof that have a blast radius of 3x3 with a choir as the background music. Then he swings his hammer, gets tired and then hit him on the head :3
But Dead Ringer is in the game... 🧐

Awesome little documentary! I bought the game a few days ago, and I'm hooked :D It's pretty cool to see the story behind it, especially since I had been wondering how the idea for such a unique game like this came about. You guys did an amazing job!
I know I joined this party late, but it's great to see that you guys have been enjoying developing this game all the way through! I bought it 3 days ago and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I'm about to try the final release now! Cheers to a wonderful, awesome, mind-blowingly original game.

Congratulations on the full release. I haven't played as much of this as some, but it's a truly original concept that impressed me from the first time I saw it in action. Even if my time playing the game is short due to just...being bad at it, you can bet I'll be listening to that amazing soundtrack for a long time to come.

I fell in love with this game since the first alpha teaser. I bought it immediately after early access version was released and now, at the full release day, I'm certain - this is my GOTY 2015! :D There's everything: fantastic music, crazy gameplay, scary enemies, TONS of content and replayability and just... pure joy of having fun in it. If you're a fan of video games, you should definetely check out this magnificent piece of art! 10/10! :)
I am so bad at this game that I have never seen any of the bosses before this video, but every time I see something new about Crypt I immediately rush to tell my friends because I love this game, I love the music, it's all fucking epic, and now with the extra soundtracks to unlock I have a reason to push myself.
I love Crypt of the Necrodancer so much but it was crazy to learn that Ryan was a developer of Incredibots aswell (a game I loved when I was a child)
Coming back for the soundtrack.
And without a clue, they not only created one of the best rogue likes ever, but also the Hardest platinum trophy ever made

I've decided to make my own Necrodancer Rythm game on Game Builder Garage for Nintendo Switch. Don't know how long it will take since I'm in college, but I do hope to at least get all the functionality working soon. Moving on segments is tricky since I am working in 3D space. If you have any suggestion tutorials or something that may be helpful, I'd really appreciate it.

I believe i first became aware of this hame through the, at the time, lets player by the name of Millbeeful or just Millbee for short, upon seeing the gameplay I immediately thought "I need to get this game!" Which isn't something I can say I've experienced very often in my life.
