GPU is dead on it, pretty common issue on Acer nitros and MSI laptops. They overheat so much they cook the GPU off the board. The only hope is someone being able to reball it but I wouldn't press my luck with that cause that would cost a lot of time and money for just a laptop that was $600 new.
Same issue with mine. Found out that the gpu is fucd, probably due to overhearing or something. However, I was able to login to backup everything by launching into safe mode and disabling the radeon gpu and launching windows back in normal mode.

No wonder my laptop got overheated so much recently, and i thought that the warranty have already clean the laptop fans and repaste it? well for now the best i can do is stick a few toothpick and alcohol wipe to remove some of the thick layer out for a bit more cooling since im kinda scared that if i unscrew something from my laptop it will cause some problems (and also the laptop still have warranty and the seal is stick on the center screw hole)
Ten years ago. After everyone said my laptop was fcked, I took a Q-tip moistened with the finest salt water from Puget Sound and ran it all over the board, starting with the video connector. Cuz it had crust all over it. Sure enough, the screen lit up. And it powered on just fine. Using a small jumper wire, I narrowed it down to one itty-bitty component, as small as a grain of sand. Since I didn't know what it did, I just left the jumper across it. Sprayed a liberal Congress load of WD-40 all over the board. Still working.
It's likely a GPU issue. I'm making this assumption based on the fact that I have a Sharp SF1(SNES CRT hybrid) and this is a frequent issue on the 14" models where the CRT module heats up as CRTs do, and the heat rises into the SNES module, causing the graphics chip to be damaged, especially when it gets dirty. This then prevents it from displaying on the CRT through S-Video, or on an external display. Chances are, something similar is happening here.
I had literally the same exact issue with my acer nitro 5. It was a slightly different model with a ryzen cpu and a 1650, but other than that it was identical to this, they’re truly awful laptops
I have the same laptop with a Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060. Soon it's gonna crack as that. The CPU side gets too hot. All the time. 1 small fan, even of full blast, isn't enough
I had an acer it over heated after i gamed on it with a lot of games it was an very old laptop but it was an great one. All good memories it worked for an long time before it crashed. (Human error)
