Dear Dr. Berg, thank you for your good advice about the heart. Our ancestors and ancient people knew what wild animals knew. Animals are often much smarter than average people at times. Internal organs are so good for you. Time and time again you can hear or read about how wild animals go after certain parts of dead animals.
My biggest downfall always was exercise. I was never committed to exercising. I move around a lot. I keep myself busy. I gardening too many things but I’m not big on exercising. When I was a kid, I was very active riding my bike climb in the monkey bars, dancing all the time Playing with my hula hoop etc. Always in great shape and always had a lot of energy. But not in my old age I just keep very active but other than that I eat healthy and I have my ferment semi be vitamins in my eggs, but I’m not big on meat I don’t eat a lot of meat. I eat a lot of fish tuna, shrimp & cod, I have sardines on occasion. I don’t drink alcohol, and I don’t smoke. I was never big on drinking alcohol not ever. Not even wine sometimes with a steak dinner that’s about it and it had to be Bordeaux.

Hey Dr Berg , thanks again for more great content 😊 I was wondering if you can help me , 7 months ago I suffered from a traumatic brain injury consisting of a bleed on the brain , fractured skull , and snapped nerve endings. Watching a lot of your videos with information on brain health I believe this has helped me so much with my recovery thank you. I do still have 0 taste or smell which is really upsetting , I was wondering if you had any advice in maybe how I could start regenerating this ? My neurology doctor can only say I don’t know if it will ever come back and isn’t helpful at all which is upsetting. It would be amazing to hear back from you, I have other complications also but thought I’d start with this. Thanks for everything Dr Berg 😊

And always if I’m exercising I say thank you my hand you wonderful! It’s sounds nuts but it’s working 😲😲🤷♀️🙏💜🌹My Daughter to had a Surgery on the one side off the brain, she forgotten everything and all I’ll talk to her 😢😢maby Dr. Berg can help some how,or suggest Supplements! 🙏🌹💜💜👍👍
Hey Tyrone. I had an sTBI almost three years ago now and had lost all of my sense of smell and taste as well. So long as you eat a healthy diet consistently, you'll probably be able to get some of your sense of smell and taste back. For me, it took around 1.5 years to get a tiny bit of it back. And another year later a little more of it came back. Granted, it is nowhere near as strong as it used to be, however, that isn't all a bad thing. I mean, I don't notice the horrible smell that could occur in public restrooms anymore, haha. My worst lasting issue is that I got sensorineural hearing loss in one ear and a broken bone in the other ear...and the doctors near me are rather unknowledgeable and so I had to travel far to get a CAT scan analyzed and then get the broken bone replaced with a 3D printed one. In the end, it definitely takes a lot of time and is often stressful when things are different than you remember them being in the past. But don't worry and try not to stress! Because you'll eventually get it all back! I'm hoping for more recovery by my five year post-accident mark! And you will definitely see some beneficial changes within the next year! Best of luck, brother!
@@NippleSauce Man! What a f'ing decent person you are to respond in such an emphatic manner to this poor bastard. I mean "Dr" Berg was never going to comment because he's NOT A DOCTOR. Go buy a lottery ticket because you deserve to win 🤙
A few years ago I lost my since of smell and taste. It was because I had no zinc in my body. It took a year of taking zinc for it to return. I knew nothing about supplements, now I know if you take zinc you need a small amount of copper. Wishing you health.
I have a Dominican friend who often buys beef heart meat and grills it along with his other bbq meats - it is delicious - very rich tasting. You have to marinate it in a little acid (lemon or vinegar with some olive oil - there is very little fat) and grill it hot and very fast. I'm sure you can stew it too. Many - or most - canned chili con carne has heart meat to make it taste more rich. Also, some of the best liver I've ever had is the frozen calves liver from Kroger- Skylark brand. It comes in individually wrapped thin slices which thaw and cook very very quickly. It has a nice mild flavor and is very tender. Great with onions slow cooked until golden and a little Lea and Perrins sauce, or cider vinegar and black pepper.

I’ve been watching Dr Oz for about 10 years.. long before the whole Dr Oz incident. Which really ticked me off btw. I was suffering from chronic arthritis and was looking for alternatives to the meds they prescribed that were full of horrible side effects including seizures and blindness. I am WAY healthier now, no medications at all, not even advil. I used to pop ibuprofen like candy. I don’t do full keto but I have improved my diet a LOT and take lots of vitamins and supplements. I look and feel so much better than I did ten years ago. Thank you, Dr Berg, your advice has added quality years to my life. Thank you so much, I wish you the best always.
Thanks for this doctor for giving me good advice!, my blood pressure has gone extremely down and I am losing weight. 125/75 my blood pressure was at 148/89. 👈😮 I don't sleep a full 8 hours and I also don't feel tired when I get up, that is strange I get 5 hours of sleep and I am not tired for the rest of the day and it's really strange been like that for months!. I believe it's been over a year. My body has made a strange 360° turn around I cannot explain it. I'm doing cardio boxing, tennis, I go out for walks, walk up the hill, walk up the stairs and I don't even get tired. These are things I couldn't do before and I eat very large amounts of meal but a very low keto diet and my weight keeps going down and stabilizing. If I did not find this channel?, I think I would have been obese!. I would have been about 240 lb right now maybe more!. I love my doctor she's extremely smart but these are things that doctors when going into practice they are not there for eating advice they only practice medicine pharmaceutical scientific stuff. She just tells me you have to lose weight😐 and I am like is there some kind of book?. She just says you have to lose weight.🤷♀️😂

Crazy, I just had beef heart for dinner last night! It’s really tasty, it’s not gamy like liver. I’d say it tastes closer to steak than anything else, though not quite the same. It’s great to marinade the same way you would a steak, then slow cook for a few hours, highly recommend
Diabetics are soooooo deficient in ALL nutrient, and that's why they have " complications " which is NOTHING to do with the diabetes itself, but from being so deficient for too long, the same goes for pretty much all health issues You either are consuming too much or too little of same foods . It takes about 20 to 25 years for " diabetes kill you" If are dealing with diabetes focus on nutrients that keep your heart and kidneys healthy. Dont forget also the nutrients to keep your nervous system healthy. I Lost my mother from diabetes " complications " the first sign she had was lower legs edema ( low B1 and low potassium) then the pains ( low maguinesium low B1, low vitamin D, low COQ10)then confusion short term memory loss( low maguinesium low B12,low choline ,low B1,low omega 3, later enlarged heart, enlarge spleen, enlarged kidney, from low zinc, low Lysine, low everything else. Later heart failure, kidneys failure, difficult breathing, very fatigue, excessive abdominal edema, face edema, whole body edema, extremely weak heartbeat, then death from sepsis lactic acidosis. Despite all my knowledge from research, watching seminars, conferences, podcast, too many informations, doctors refused to listen. I suggest trying extremely high doses thiamine with very high doses vitamin C and maguinesium intravenously, information I read on Pubmed about how this protocol can reverse this condition in 4 days in most cases. It would have decreased the chances of death by 75%. The doctor refuse told me if I could provide the supplement they would administer, then he called an hour after saying she was on thiamine already a dose of 100mg 3 times a day. I told him it was not enough to make any difference....She passed 2 days later. In case anyone working in a hospital setting, please give the patient NUTRIENTS intravenously, 80% of all patients hospitalized are deficient.
Just in case, maybe I can help with the research I've come up with since the debate started years ago... There is no difference physiologically. Your body will convert ubiquinone to ubiquinol as it needs to. This debate began with a 2 week study in older men saying that ubiquinol was better. Studies since have not proven that claim... Some say that because ubiquinol is the reduced form it is a better antioxidant, but again no studies have proven this claim either. The confusion continues to be proliferated by ubiquinol manufacturers because they get to charge a premium for the product. Besides that, do many of us really need more antioxidants if were already on a pretty healthy regimen, probably not. Too much antioxidants is not good for us either
@@MeesterJ It’s a deeper understanding I’m after, eg how the body each reacts with each. According to a compounding pharmacist who says if it’s activated (ubiquinol) the body eventually stops creating it itself. As it no longer needs to, it forgets the memory of making it itself. Which I imagine not to be a good thing. My cardiologist recommended i take it for life along with Red Yeast Rice. Gaining as much knowledge as I can about it.
Dr. Berg, I am your big admirer and your videos have helped me a lot. It's my sincere request to make a dedicated video on lipomatosis. Millions suffer from this disease.
I have been taking CoQ10 for many years. As a older people the most important thing it does for me is lubricates my bodies joints(knees and hips). CoQ10 is very well known for that. I am surprised he missed that. Avoid the supplements with synthetic vitamin E added I would recommend. CoQ10 gets 5-stars from us.

For "food as medicine" the Chinese TCM doctors has been prescribing heart for treating heart related diseases which was ignored by the western medicine for a long time. I guess that explains their life quality and longevity.
That’s because “western medicine”, is about creating a continuous stream of patients, for doctors, and hospitals. If you actually heal people, they won’t keep coming back to you, and your best friends, in the pharmaceutical industry. Also, helping people to have poor health, means they won’t be able to stand up, against the status quo.
I'm seeing some birthday wishes so I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and go ahead and just assume it's your birthday or it was recently LOL hope you had or have a good one and I appreciate you helping us all live longer

Thanks for posting… been trying to incorporate more organ meats into my diet, I’ve been meaning to try adding ground heart into homemade burgers, lasagna and anything that involves ground/minced meat.
Allopathic doctors really don't know much about nutrition, an hour or 2 when they are training is a usually the max. Our illnesses created by their ignorance keeps them in business.

Congrats on reaching 10M subs Dr. Well deserved!! Thank you for your contributions!!
Thank you I started taking coq10 for a long time and also tell my friends and family. I don't take stating my cholesterol is fine.

Hi there. Thank you very much for your message. Greatly appreciate it.
💜 Don’t believe Doctors, they can’t know everything, they told me my after on accident, my hand can’t ever use it again, and they say I’ll always will be in Pain, but I’ll keep on exercising and now can use my Fingers again!
Happy Birthday,Dr Berg !
Wish you all the best for you and your family.
I can't stand liver, but your descriptions make it sound appetizing. 😁

Dr. Eric Berg DC..Good work on this topic. I have been stacking CoQ10 with vitamin D3
for a few years and that stack always gives me the energy to power thru my INTENSE
workouts at the gym. In addition..I have not used a Pre-workout in years..😎💪🙏

I have cardiomyopathy and my cardiologist never care about any type of vitamins . Thank you Dr Berg for your information i always follow your advise.
I have been taking Q10 for years! Love the results. I have been taking a protein shake every morning with 5gs of creatine. Mind-blowing energy results. No lag all day long. I would not have believed it. I am 67 years old. I am an on-site contractor remodeling homes. Could you give it a try for six months? Energy is life!
Life changing. Finally it's all clear. Thank you, Dr Berg❤
Thanks! That was the goal. Glad you were able to get some questions answered.

Happy birthday Dr Berg. What a great way to celebrate 2023 birthday with 10m followers and I'm one of them since 2018.
In South Africa and Africa as a whole we eat organ meat since it increases fertility (potent in folate).
Now I'm REALLY impressed - you have your own farm / food source good for you and congratulations ! :)

Happiest of birthdays, Dr Berg! Thanks for all you do 💛
Thanks for this doctor for giving me good advice!, my blood pressure has gone extremely down and I am losing weight. 125/75 my blood pressure was at 148/89. 👈😮
I don't sleep a full 8 hours and I also don't feel tired when I get up, that is strange I get 5 hours of sleep and I am not tired for the rest of the day and it's really strange been like that for months!.
Thats something i knew nothing about. I am learning so mich from this channel. Thank you!
I was thinking about this topic a few days ago. Thanks so much ❤
Arjuna terminalia a herb, has the potential amount of co-q10, it is a superb statin too.....
Yes Arjun chal is more than enough for heart and even normalise enlarge heart.
@@hasanaliqadri1508 yes arjuna chaal(bark) decoction prepared in 1 part of milk and 7 parts of water is very good for lvf(arjuna ksheer pak) but it dznt normalises heart size, yess it increaes ejaction fraction efficiently.....
Dr Berg, please also comment on statin not reducing the harmful small LDL cholestrol but instead reducing the large LDL that is vital as you explained in this video.
There are now many studies that support this finding.
Please comment. Thanks and love your videos.

Dr. Berg I’m so glad you are mentioning freeze-drying. I’m interested in your findings on the nutritional value of freeze drying thank you very much.
Crazy, I just had beef heart for dinner last night! It’s really tasty, it’s not gamy like liver. I’d say it tastes closer to steak than anything else, though not quite the same. It’s great to marinade the same way you would a steak, then slow cook for a few hours, highly recommend
The fact that we get free videos on UA-cam by Dr. Berg is truly a gift. 👍❤🎉

Please do a video on explaining the differences between ubiquinol and ubiquinone COQ10.
Ubiquinol is the active form of Co Q10, whereas ubiquinone is the passive form. There is your explanation.

Yes, I have.

Heart muscle is really good ground up and mixed with ground beef. One part liver and one part heart meat to 8 parts ground beef. Amazing!
In Egypt we consume a lot of animal's heart ,liver and kidneys in our diet especially in Eid Al-adha Almubarak ❤

what supplement would you recommend for COQ10? Thanks Doc!!@@Drberg
Thank you Dr B and Holly. Ever so grateful. ❤

Than you so much Doctor Eric Berg ❤🙏⭐

Thanks for posting… been trying to incorporate more organ meats into my diet, I’ve been meaning to try adding ground heart into homemade burgers, lasagna and anything that involves ground/minced meat.
I reminded my doctor many years ago that stations destroy CoQ10. Her response? "Then take more CoQ10." I decided to change my diet instead.
Allopathic doctors really don't know much about nutrition, an hour or 2 when they are training is a usually the max. Our illnesses created by their ignorance keeps them in business.
An enlightening brief broadside. Thx! Dr Berg.👍
