Some trivia for you. The suede jacket from Mission Impossible is actually the same suede jacket from Spectre with 2 minor differences. It's a midnight versus the marine in Bond. The other minor difference is inside the lapel on the spectre jacket is in cotton whereas full suede on the Mission Impossible one. The cut and everything else is the same. I have both jackets. I love them
I have no problem with Omega watches, I own a Planet Ocean but I wish they would have stuck with Rolex. The Omega seems like a product placement. When Connery wore the 6538 it wasn't even the latest model. Struck me as being more in keeping with someone loyal to a tool that hadn't let him down. And of course, it was Fleming's choice.
The Living Daylight is a brilliant film. Dalton was a great Bond IMHO, the best after Connery. Fabulous actor. Fact check at 2:59 he was supposed to be in Bratislava. He was in Austria, not on location in Mexico City. EON moved to Mexico for LTK. Yes, I am obsessesed with Bond too (but I can't say I like the newer films with DC much...) Great video you have here guys!
One of my favorite looks is Sean in short shorts. I am so glad shorter shorts are coming back into style. Board shorts are basically baggy capri pants at this point. Now I wont touch shorts unless they are at least 3 inches above the knee. Best Bond outfit, Goldfinger, Bond's golf outfit.
Connery: blue on blue Dr. no Lazenby: grey suit Dalton: Gibraltar parachute outfit Moore: moon raker black 1/4 zip Brosnan: green Cuba outfit or the halo to dive gear, both are sick Craig: no time to die Land Rover outfit
I find it amusing how often, in several videos, the Madagascar is criticized. As pointed out, Bond is undercover at a mongoose/cobra fight in the back streets of the city; he’s blending in. Dressing in “ Bond style” would be more of a give away than touching one’s ear.
This is uncanny David. I’d just finished watching TGV’s latest collab video with Marc from Long Island Watch and decided to go for my evening shower. Half way through that, I remembered your last collab video with TGV and your reply comment to me about the second half of that coming soon (was some months ago now from memory). I no sooner returned to my computer and lo and behold...it had appeared! Nice timing sir! I’m now watching and very much enjoying it, all the while thinking, “can I possibly manifest a lottery win also, just by thinking about that too???”😅😅
I do find it a little funny how everyone loves the Billy Reid pea coat look from Skyfall (as do I). That’s him in disguise again, no? (As a driver/chauffeur)
Great debate. What jacket and boots are you wearing David? (I'm straight by the way). I like the attention to detail with clothes, props, on this show. And the book discussions are a great idea.
wearing a Rolex he forgot to mention RAF pilots also wore Rolex Air King series wristwatches, and Ian Fleming wrote Bond himself wore a Rolex wristwatch, as the writer did himself
jUST a quick idea to throw into you David, Do you think' NO TIME TO DIE' will have a similar ending like 'OHMSS. where Blowfield may kill Dr. Swann as the pair are about to sail away together and we ge the famous line' No she's only sleeping?
I don't know how you manage to be so consistent with your 007 hobby, like do you ever feel like watching a random movie instead of reviewing something james bond related? I admire this though. Have been obsessed with sports and work few times, but they weren't hobbies for me

Jingly jangly
These guys are the best British and American team up since WW2.....
Awwww, very nice of you to say!
Sorry to correct you but the Scene where Timothy had to take out the sniper was filmed in Vienna, at the Volksoper, 3 minutes from my place. 😉

Omega is a product placement, just like so much more in the movies
I like Craig's look in Skyfall especially the Barbour jacket, when I saw it, I just had to have it.
Dalton was in Bratislava, filmed in Vienna
Ahhhhh, thank you!

I’m chuffed to bits. Ok ciao
Two great disruptors of the industry. Ka-choww
Excellent!
Did you mean to insert an Omega Speedmaster at 13:15, David? TGV was taking about the Seamaster, wasn't he?
Mistakes have been made (blushes)
TheBondExperience Everyone’s a critic, aren’t they? Keep up the good work!
I love when you and tgv do videos together its literally my 2 favorite channels combined in one video watches and bond can do no wrong great stuff
Thanks!
Heyyy, That Moore's Safari Jacket and Shirts are my favourite!! 🤣. Well, maybe because he wore those in my country. (Thailand)

You know how great Connery was? So great that I can forgive him for wearing a men's romper.
R.I.P. Diana Rigg OHMSS.
I know....so sad.
The Living Daylights - Bond was in Bratislava (Czechoslovakia - nowadays Slovakia)
Connery: blue on blue Dr. no
Lazenby: grey suit
Dalton: Gibraltar parachute outfit
Moore: moon raker black 1/4 zip
Brosnan: green Cuba outfit or the halo to dive gear, both are sick

OK, I say bet it all! :)
Should do a podcast
Would be fun!
Great episode David. Leisurely, so knowledgeable, full of affection for the series. Well done.

Sweater is a Ralph Lauren purple label, and boots are suede Clark desert boots.
You two should have a weekly show! Never run out of brilliant ideas. Two favourite UA-cam sites
Spot on comments David...as usual.
Thanks!
Loved TGVs explanation of the Seamaster line!!
wearing a Rolex he forgot to mention RAF pilots also wore Rolex Air King series wristwatches, and Ian Fleming wrote Bond himself wore a Rolex wristwatch, as the writer did himself
Good chat lads! I need to restart the Bond films again. Live and Let Die was always my fave 💀
It's a classic!
Timothy Dalton did a better bond then cheesy Roger Moore

That’s bad firearm handling. Finger off the trigger mate. Even you are just posing.

You guys are so much fun! Keep it up!
Legendary duet!
Good to see the governor on here again!
Good to see Dalton receiving some more recognition, definitely ahead of his time as Bond.
