I am trying to enter programming mode but instead of P I see a big 50 on my screen and 4 digits that I can change, but every time I change them they reset
So will it be possible to pop it on a setting that it will only go like 25 kmph, in case i ride around in town? here in Denmark is 20 kmph the max but most scooters runs 25-30 kmph. I am looking into getting one for joyrides but also to commute til and from work.
Hi, with the Turbo button depressed the scooter will top out at 25kms/h, no matter what gear you are in. The other way to force a 25km/h limit is to set the P8 setting (Power) to 40(%). Then the scooter will not go above 25km/h. That is how the scooter ships in my country (Australia). Happy scooting!

Hey brother, when I press the 2 buttons to enter the settings, a code opens that I need to do and only after that can I change it, do you know what the code is?
Hi Nora, these instructions are only for the QS-S4 display, as found on Zero 10X, Turbowheel and early Apollo models. To go from normal mode into P-settings you need to hold down the Power and Mode buttons simultaneously for more than 3 seconds. Then you should see the "P" displayed. Each push of the Power button then advances the parameter that you are setting. Hope this helps ! Mark.

Just had a close call. I was riding my 10x today and reached 65kmph (I had cruise mode activated) and when I activated the brake, I think my electronic brake locked up the rear wheel, I almost lost control. I immediately disengaged the cruise and electronic brake settings. I am just wandering if this is a general problem or I have a faulty controller. Please let me know if this is a known glitch.
Geez Brian, that sounds like a nasty little surprise! I haven't heard of that before but I know electronic brakes can be a bit brutal in their application. For that reason I only have mine on the lowest setting (1). I think the issue is that they use magnetic flux from the motors to create resistance against the wheel spinning. My theory (happy to be challenged) is that the flux is greater at high speed than low speed. This means you get more braking force when applying at high speed than you would at low speed. Hence, your locked wheel experience. This also matches my low-speed experience where they don't seem to make any difference, even on the highest setting. Stay safe !
Hi can anyone help with my 11X please? What exactly is the voltage cut-off and why is it set at 52 V when it's 72 V?? Unsure why and of the cut-off purpose. Also, what should the magnetic setting be set to and why. Thanks for your help in advance.
The voltage cutoff is the minimum voltage for the batteries to protect them from over discharging, which shortens the life of the battery. If you reach this limit, the controller lowers the voltage to zero then turns off the power supply. It won't reset until you start charging again.
If by magnetic setting you mean the regen breaks, i suggest you use 0 ALWAYS or else it will mess up your motors. Regen breaks are very bad at the moment.
Not if you know what you’re doing. You could damage something if you set the wrong values on motor magnets for example. You need to make sure you have downloaded the instruction sheet, that tells you which setting does what. Stick to power, acceleration and braking adjustments.
Hi Declan, in some countries the speed limit is only programmed using P-Setting. In other countries, where the authorities are more strict, it is hard-wired. Unfortunately, it sounds like yours is hard wired. If you have set P8 =100 and you have checked that the Turbo button is popped out, not in, and you still cannot go faster than 25km/hr then your scooter is hard-wired. In that case you have no choice but to cut the wires if you want to remove the limiter. Please note I am not advocating cutting the wires and I cannot tell you which ones to cut as I have not done it myself. Good luck though !
