    The motor RPM is based on voltage and motor KV so more amps/watts will not increase the max rpm. Knowing the motor KV would be useful for helping determine speed differences between the motors.

    What is the easiest way to up the juice that the motors are receiving? I’m not looking to go crazy like you guys. Maybe just an extra 500 or 750. I know “ anything I do to my scoot, at the very least, voids my warranty (I Bought it used) and your not responsible for anything I might do”

    my vsett9 is in yellow color, apparently some old pre-release version... and it would go faster than 33kmh in mode 3 usually, than out of the blue will go 38kmh, than 33kmh max again with super slow acceleration (over 25sec to get to 33kmh), than one time it allowed to go up 45kmh... - all on the same road, same weather temp, same day... Controller is nuts.. but seller won't respond to me :(
    Can you advice what is the normal expected speed for vsett9? (im 68kg only, and I saw it can go 45kmh when it is in a mood... I think I got a teenage girl controller lol) Can you help in any way?

    I think in general, not just limited to PEV's, too much emphasis is placed on speed/horsepower and not enough on torque. When researching PEV's I always ask for the torque nm of the motor. It's surprising how many PEV's costing thousands of dollars that have incredibly low torque...common value seems to be 68nm. I can order a plain simple bike from Costco for $300 and add a midmotor ebike conversion kit with 168nm. Which is what I will be doing. I want several PEV's though: ebike, escooter, e-kickscooter, euc, etc; one of each. Slowly but surely but first I'm purchasing safety gear. SAFETY FIRST!!! I do like very much Zero e-kickscooters: look great, good specs, reasonable price compared with the competition, and every single person I have met in NYC that has one gets excited when I ask them about it and they all highly recommend it. 💪🏻🤓😎🤓😎🤓😎🤓👍🏻

    Can I upgrade 10 inc motors to 11 inc for zero 10x? Does it provide more torque and more speed? Maybe lower power consumption?

    • @FalconpevSg
      @FalconpevSg  3 роки тому

      yes you need to get our conversion kit and 11 inch motor. lower power consumption for the same speed yes. but you will also very quickly want more torque to match the power the motor can provide but your controller will not able to handle the power and will cut off. hence you will need to also change controller. Oh but wait, your battery is not equipped to handle the increase in power too, so you may need a new battery too.

    I've just recently purchased a 52v zero 10x I use it around Cairns in Nth Queensland Australia. Wet tropics area. I'm happy with how it performs in almost all aspects. I've only traveled 90kms on it so far, but I've got two gripes about it. The first, how can you put a scooter out there that's not even basically water resistant, I mean if I get a shower of rain....no riding! Wet tropics area..Bad! Second bitch, not as bad. Charge the battery up full charge. 58.3v, goes awsome, at 52v it's fading, at 50 it starts to get disappointing at 48 I'm giving up.
    I'd like some advice?

It lasts better than the smaller version. Yes, about 46-47v stationary it will be dropping close to cutoff. Total range should be 40-50km.

    • @FalconpevSg
      @FalconpevSg  3 роки тому +1

      Good observation and we did take a few liberties in a video but with good assumptions. The difference between the 11X stock motor and the 11x limited motor is not a lot in non riding unladen conditions. The 11x motor does not have hall sensors so it’s not very efficient at high speeds but that does not matter in unladen conditions. Also the stock 11X motor is not good in high current situations unlike the limited motor but again it doesn’t matter as unladen it does not require much current or generate much heat. This is purely a “lab” tests so we did take a few liberties.
