- This conference is one of the last major conferences before John Vennari (RIP) lost his battle with Cancer and passed away.
In this talk, John dissects Jorge Bergolio (now Pope Francis) and his background in the 60's and 70's as a Jesuit seminarian, and helps explain how the current pope views The Church and ecclesiology.
John traces the errors of Vatican II back through time to subjectivist philosophers such as René Descartes and Immanuel Kant, and their adoption into the modernist church by people like Maurice Blondell, Henri de Lubac, Yves Congar, Hans Kung, Josef Ratzinger and others.
This is a fantastic overview of the current crisis that has absolutely decimated the Catholic Church.

This guy is/was amazing. He's shooting knowledge out of a machine gun. I will either have to take notes (transcribe his whole lecture because he packs it in so densely, nothing wasted, everything a gem) or watch it 50 times. The Bible was translated by so many scribes over in so many languages. I often wonder how many exact words of God were misinterpreted by the scribes.We all know how one story being to many people can differ in so many slightly ways that the end result is very different to the original version.What happens when a husband chooses to leave the family for his own selfish reason.He is not a catholic so its not a problem to him.The wife is a good devoted mother and raises the children alone .We have been raised to believe ina merciful and compassionate God.Why would he punish the innocent from living within a normal loving secure family enviroment.Why should the innocent party be punished for the rest of her life because he couldnt be true to his vows.Many people have never understood how a loving fair and merciful God would make this rule.
@@rosaliearentsen2983 This difficult and painful situation you describe results from the failure of the Vatican II church to teach and uphold the truth and doctrine that a Catholic cannot marry a non-Catholic. In the past when this rule (for the benefit of the faithful) was applied the non-Catholic person would be required to covert to Catholicism to marry the Catholic. If they did not wish to convert, then the couple could not marry in the Church. This error by the nouveau church was a purposeful regression to discourage the growth of the Catholic Church and to water down its families, faith and teachings.
Rosalie Arentsen I believe the easiest statement to undercut your argument is that of Original Sin. We were not the one who committed the original sin yet we are stuck with its consequences. God still punishes those who are not baptized and so, a person who’s spouse has left them to raise the family alone, are also stuck with the unfortunate consequences. We don’t get to relativized our situations to justify the sin we commit. We must repent and cooperate with Grace to perfect ourselves.
I never understood this concept that truth could change. It doesn't make logical sense. Even back before I was a Christian. This actually probably was the one philosophical point that brought me to Christianity was the realization that there was only one truth and that that truth is unchangeable. And that any other position is completely untenable.
Pope Francis isn't smiling much anymore, that's for certain. He positively scowls now.
I don't understand why he's not smiling anymore. The destruction of the Church is in full swing and he's presiding over it. He's directing and controlling the demolition and it appears he's getting the job done. Can't figure why he'd be upset.

A very good talk. Sad state of affairs of the Roman Catholic Church of which I am a disillusioned member. Did not reliase Vatican 2 and since, St Thomas Aquinas was abandoned , how incredible. It is sickening. Our local church has stopped visiting people in their homes, they don't care about the people, but also they don't care about doctrine it seems either. I can only conclude there is not much Church in such a situation.

Just take a look at Bishop Barron’s “privileged way to salvation” speech on Shapiro, or even PF’s document stating “the pluralism and the diversity of religions” is “willed by God in His wisdom....” These people don’t believe you need to be Catholic to go to Heaven. A great many don’t even believe in the reality of sin! If you’re convinced something is wrong, and you’re also convinced that membership in the Church instituted by Christ (the Catholic Church) is needed for the salvation of your soul, and your local Catholic Church is not interested in saving your soul, check out the SSPX. They WILL help you. They ARE Catholic. They want to save souls.

Quiet weapons exist including cancer causing agents deployed by secretive means. Is there any proof that such a weapon was used in the case of John Venarri's untimely demise? I like mr. Vennaris's take on this; Kirkegaard is well meaning, but confused. Any philosopher or theologian (no matter how liberal in their own time), would be horrified by what is going on today. While mr. Vennari harshly critizised Kant, Kant at least had an idea of objective truth, and based his moral philosophy on the idea that there is such an idea as truth; Much unlike most of todays catholic priests, bishops and cardinals (as well as most so-called catholics). I agree that Kirkegaard is not worth reading, though.

Back when Pope John Paul II was in office, i found out that the Vatican was using Protestant Theologians to discern Holy Scriptures.

The Immaculate Heart, Mother Immaculate, is so important for us to find Christ. NO ONE else but Her will see HIM as much as in Her Heart. VIRGIN Ever, never damaged by sin. In Her first moments of consciousness SHE saw more than we will see in our entire life. Some will hear me, or already know. Mother OPENS the Gate, John 10:3! She brings us to Christ through Her Heart. Christ takes us to the Father.
i am not holy. But i know i know Truth more then most in His Church that i have touched. The cancer is so great in His Church. One should only be searching for Christ greater in their life. I honestly respectfully disagree with Mr. Vennari's judgment on Karol Wojtyla and Joseph Ratzinger; however he treats them with respect, I might say.

Proof supplies certainty, Christianity supplies good news which must be believed and lived based on the words of testimony handed down from the apostles by the apostolic faithful through the ages.
Anything held as true after being proved is not held on faith.
Genuine theology consists of attempts by human minds using limited human capabilities to explain or understand MYSTERIES.
Theology is human words in human language straining after some sort of understanding of truth and discerning errors spread by others if they were mistaken - it is mainly useful in identifying heresy.
Which pink palace seminary did you attend for EIGHT years? Were you revolted by either the proportion of active sodomite seminarians, the Modernist heresies or neither? Both JPII and Benedict XVI did NOTHING about the infestation, and it was they who consecrated current sodomite bishops and cardinals.

Listening to this man is exhausting. My copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church is a large volume of 610 pages, first published in 1994. It is intended as a summary of everything the Church teaches concerning the essentials of the Faith. I have neither heard nor read anything (by enemies of the Catholic Church) to suggest it is at fault, in any way. Nor have I heard or read anything from Catholics at any level to suggest that Pope Francis has rejected or modified a single word of it. I am sorry to read that Mr Vennari has died. Requiescat in pace.

That is because it is not the Baltimore Catechism which was written and used way before 1994. It was being used in 1959, I still have a copy. Absence of proof is not proof.
@@Fedeleness We are not all US Catholics. I've heard of the Baltimore Catechism but I'm not going to go looking for it. The Church has presented the faithful with a comprehensive summary of the Faith for use worldwide - in whatever language it is required. What more do you want?

Maybe someone can answer. I'm legeally divorced. My ex left when I had my second brain surgery ( I still have five brain tumors left). He did the right thing (he got someone pregnant while I was recovering from surgery) YOU DON'T KILL A BABY! My dilemma.. We, my ex and I we had one child. This child is a grown man now and looking to marry. I asked my priest, he knew my family VERY WELL. I asked him, "should my son get married in this parish will you give Communion to my ex?" His reply, " I have to I can not ex-communicate anyone" My concern... My son knows all that transpired in the marriage What kind of example is this to set for a young newly-wed man? I'm single and I will not have the marriage annulled, and do not intend to. That would make my only child a bastard. My son was conceived in a valid Catholic marriage. My son is a year or two away from marriage. He's 27 y.o. How do I teach this young man... A marriage is a life long bond between a man and a woman?

Surely that doctrine/truth can change goes back in part to John Henry Newman and his teachings on the development of doctrine. This is why Newman has become more important post WW2 and underlies the modern Roman Church which is now functionality Protestant.

Idk what this comment means. If they’re apt to get an annulment, then they should. Maybe they think they are, don’t have the investigation or the annulment, and they’re actually living in adultery? I’d play it safe on this one.

@@VoxCatholica It is the post-ritual declaration that the celebration was never valid and therefore not a sacrament. ok? now, adultery is the violation of a sacrament that WAS valid. that is why i say it is incorrect to refer to all new unions as adulterous. they may be fornication, or just irregular at best. the distinctions must be made. i agree that adulterous couples should not go to communion. but not all new unions are culpable of adultery. if they are apt for getting an annulment... maybe of something else, God knows, but what if they are taking things seriously and doing the best they can in good faith. i once read a priests confessional praxis manual that said that absolution should not be denied if the penitent is "in bona fide", even if in the present their is objective error

People who are divorced are still within the church and entitled to all the sacraments. It is those who have remarried without receiving an annulment of the prior marriage who are outside of the faith.
Mother church cannot change doctrine. Divorced couples can receive communion as long as they are chaste.
Catering to sin empties the pews. Why be Catholic or worship Jesus if sin is no big deal or doesn't exist? Why be Catholic if all religions or none at all lead to God? Why be Catholic if everyone goes to heaven no matter how darkened their lives, intellects and hearts? Why be Catholic if we can live as though God is dead?

The root, stem, and source of the crises in the catholic church is the second vatican council. The effective, even if not official, ban placed on the latin mass was one of the “fruits” of it, and it was only lifted in the latter stages of Pope Benedict XVI’s pontificate through his encyclical Summorum Pontificum. It was this dictatorial clumsiness that forced true catholic priests to found the priestly fraternity of St Pius X, which rejects Vatican II and the novus ordo mass, as it is illicit to Canon Law, and in direct contradiction to Pope St Pius V’s solemn decree Quo Primum which strictly forbids any change to the traditional latin mass. Pope Francis does not uphold catholic doctrine : indeed he promotes heresy under a cloak of “compassion”. If he condones compassion towards lutherans although Luther described Holy Mass as “The Mass is the greatest blasphemy of God, and the highest idolatry upon earth, an abomination the like of which has never been in Christendom since the time of the Apostles”, then why cannot he just recognise - fully - the SSPX as a priestly fraternity within the church i.e. one that practices catholicism as it was practiced by the catholic church prior to the second vatican council ???

He worked for years and wrote large amounts of speculative ideas down trying to get human understanding on Divine truth.
He than had a religious experience during prayer.
What was revealed to him by God convinced him that he had been mistaken about the value of his life work and called it 'straw'.
In his will, he instructed his executor to burn all his work.
This was not honoured, his last will and testament was ignored.
That is when the rot set in and that is why very good men hate Thomism.
What was handed on from the apostles was the good news of salvation and the word of their testimony both written in the Bible and passed on as 'tradition' must be believed, taken on trust and it cannot be proven by logic or fully described by mere human languages or arts.
It is received by FAITH and after one has acted as if the teaching was true one begins to become convinced that it is true. Conviction comes by signs and wonders and the outcome of obedience and disobedience and NOT by philosophical argument.
