The respect Ricky has for The Jungle Book.
Yooo
Haven't skated in years, as i felt that age 30+ was too old to teach an old dog new tricks. Tha Braille crew has renewed my faith in tha ability to do so. Jus ordered a new blank complete a couple of hrs ago. Always dreamed of busting out a tre flip back in my younger days... will do it on this new braille complete. FIRST TRYYYYYY
And you got the Treflip?
A tip that really helped me with the trick is you should pretend you’re going for a backside flip but turn your body back to normal stance at the last second . It helped me get the vertical rotation
to all the beginners who want to try this trick: THIS IS A POPSICLE MACHINE!!
i know from experience
I don't think beginners should really try to get this one, unless you get them to rotate more sideways. And, for a beginner, any trick can be a popsicle machine hahah. I once landed an ollie _very_ nose heavy and pretty much got the tail into my upper leg. Don't ask me how I did it, not even sure. The board probably just got stuck on the front foot sliding somehow.
it is not a popsicle machine at all it flips behind you
it isnt haha i got it down and never got in my crotch close but it cant reach because my legs are really long, It just flips a bit behing my feet
Dang.. I might have to do a dolphin flip now 🤷♂️
This is probably too buried to be found and read. However, when you do these trick explanations, you should do some attempts at the end so we can see how long it takes you to do it, this will help set our expectations and goals for the trick. If it takes you a few goes, the difficulty of it will be clearer and we'll be able to adjust our expectations accordingly.
The video with Aaron commenting was kinda weird. It was probably Gabe's idea lol. No hate on Gabe tho
I lowkey like it because it’s makes it more interesting
@@Torn-rz8tm it just seems annoying to me. Its just not needed.
@@eastlakefilms9407 I agree but for me it makes it more interesting and worthwhile to watch but all our opinions are different
@@Torn-rz8tm No. I'm right. You yes you are dead wrong. Its not opion. Its fact. Gosh. Like ugg
@Tucker Jones my opinion is fact
This looks like a credit card waiting to happen
now i want to see a nollie dolphin flip
Glass has mad skills. Mog is sick skilled. I've been watching Braille for 4 years.
This trick, the dragon flip, and the 360 Hardflip are the kings of popsicle tricks
Nah, laser flip and gazelle flip
Its crazy how I could hardflip when I was 12 but wouldn't even think about attempting the trick now(27).
Thing is, when you were 12 you probably didn't even consider getting injured or the potential risks and a 12 year old can take a few hard bails and bounce back. Now at 27 (I'm 27 too btw) you think about potential injuries and the fact that when you fall now it takes you longer to get back up, if you get back up at all lol
@@Mr.M1STER honestly
i cant get anywhere near a hardflip now, but i can fakie hardflip and fakie (cab) fs flip. Give them a go man theyre not so bad
@@Mr.M1STERYou just got to stop being scared. I got back into skateboarding at 36 years old after being off of a board for 18 years. If I can learn inward heelflips at 37 you can learn hardflips no problem. It's also worth mentioning that I've never landed an inward heelflip as a kid but I have them down now. I can also get frontside shove-its every try and that was a trick I could never land as a kid either. Your kid body might have had more energy and resilience then but your adult mind would probably have a better understanding of the tricks now.
More tricktips with Ricky & Mogely please!
Nice tips, I wish I could skate in a safe environment and not die haha. I love the way this trick looks(I have heard it called forward flip and dolphin) and when I saw Ricky's persistence with it into the grind...man that was sick 😎👍👏 mogley, I would love to see you do it on the rail(please ask ricky to help that happen)even he said and acted like it was sketch haha. I guess everything in life takes time and pain to get to where you wanna go(i understand this with drums as i have been playing over 20 years)hopefully one day I will be able to roll around and maybe do a kickflip, tre flip etc. I don't wanna die but just have some fun 😊 great job guys.
I’ve been watching you since 2014
nobody:
ricky glaser: YEWW!!
That is the kind of tutorial we need not an ollie or Kickflip tutorial
Love your videos 😝
Man I wish I had Braille 25 years ago!
David jones did a finger board video of the braille house! whaaaaaat
So is there new times for Braille Army uploads?
Is it just me or does it kinda look like mogelys board is floating just above his knee in the middle of the video
the braille app crashes everytime i try to open it
Works ok for me on Android, but there are some enhancements I'll probably recommend to their support team...Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling?
less than a year and a half sk8ing landed a few dolphins pretty dang hype trick
Do a nollie 360 hardflip
You should do more vids like that!!!
I used to have these down normal and switch but I forgot I moved up a few sizes and haven’t skated in years and now I can’t get it to dolphin at all. 🐬 😅
Update I just landed a Nollie dolphin and I can flick a normal dolphin flip I’m super close. You pop up high almost rocketed and bring your foot up and then flick to avoid your board smashing the ground
I tried à kickflip with the heelflip foot position and that's how I learn the rotation
I definitely think this should be called forward flip
Or soft flip as its just an opposite hard flip
It is called a forward flip. Im pretty sure chris chann made it more known as a dolphin flip
I think it should be called a nollie hard flip.
except you pop it on the tail 😂
Ive always preferred forward flip. But I do realize how it does resemble a dolphin flipping out of water.
I like sk8
I wanna see Ricky do a back tail dolphin flip out
I think this trick is a bit like understanding how to impossible. You have to hook the board almost with the flick going in an arc down. And timing and flick direction is key. I obviously can't do dolphin flips nor impossibles as I'm a total beginner, but I think beginners should try to rotate dolphin flips and hard flips more sideways anyway.
Back when i use to skate i leared this trick after about 2 years of skating, i could never even tre flip and was terrible at kickflips. My biggest tip for people is to literally flick hard off the nose of your board. Mine were always vertical
I learned pop shuv then ollie then dolphin flip
Wear Shin Guards 😁
I did a dolphin on the trampoline with a board
Late nollie pressure flip
I just keep doing weird kick flips and weird ollie's whats some advice
Its called the stanton flip after darrel stanton !!!
You guys should do a in depth video exactly like this but with BS360 Cab flips
If you think of skateboarding like abstract art, it reminds us like a dolphins
Thank you
AYO, DAVID JONES MADE YOUR BRAILLE HOUSE 2.0 FOR FINGERBOARD WATCH THE VIDEO
Mogely's dead stare during Ricky's intro...
Whoop!
lets Go
Who else is gonna try it after a year of skating? 😅😂 I have kickflips, heel flips, varial flips and I've landed a tre so hopefully I'll get somewhere close aha
Me tries this trick:
My board: does a kickflip
First try!!
I just wanna say, 2-3 year skater part is wrong, I’ve skater five months and I can double heel flip dolphin flip bs fs kickflip, etc etc...and I have proof. It took me three days to land this trick, never set limitations on yourself
The mob psycho griptape
invent the glacier flip
Honestly dolphin flips aren’t very difficult. I first practice without committing and getting the rotation down then the first one I committed to I landed it and it only took me a week to get all the steps down
Bryan arnett should’ve done this one but Ricky is great
Any fingerboarders who are beginners at skateboarding watching this to dolphin flip on a fingerboard other than me
Me after watching the whole video: "I don't even skate, why did I watch this XD"
go skate now
@Tucker Jones Once the weather is better if definitely want to!
First for once!
Its because it looks like a dolphin jumping out of the water
Who's on modules griptape
Step 1: Flick
Step 2: Stomp
Are you rolling away?
Yes? Mission accomplished
No? Try again
Fifth comment
I only been skating for 4 months and landed a dolphin flip
SECOND
keke
I like mogley but Its a struggle to listen to him, I could see the boredom in rickys eyes
This video series is better when it’s an A.K. tutorial. He gives an explanation of what it is with a little history while intermittently showing others performing the trick in various ways. Then he goes into the step by step process in what he hopes is the easiest way verbally and physically with tips and hacks. When he can he has a guest skater teaching a variation/ alternate stance along side of him. Ending with back to back to back performances and clips, wins and fails.
I’ll take that over this boring blackboard lesson.
yakwtfgo
I did a dolphin flip on 10 old school board but can't figure it out why it flips so far in front on my 8.25
There's our Jungle skater again😀😀😀
