The Forward Flip is an old school flip trick that has recently resurfaced from the depths and been repopularized by skaters like Chris Chann. While it may seem daunting at first, it is actually a relatively easy trick to tame and will definitely give you some style points.

My flick on my kickflip naturally went further up on the nose than a lot of people and i almost landed one by accident, its lowkey extremely do-able for me i just have to dedicate a session to it
I landed 2 today out of no where for no reason and can no longer form them it sucks
its pretty easy for me although im not that good

I remember my first forward flip
I just keep ripping mine so I just pulled them out
I've gotten into the habit of catching it like a pressure flip (front foot first) and it's clean AF. Never have to worry about landing in a manual position

The part where you talk about just practicing sliding your foot off the front reminded me how back in the day when I was trying to learn this trick I wouldnt practice it when random people were around cuz when you mess it up you look like you cant even do an Ollie to people who dont know better LOL

I landed one yesterday with my cousin witnessing it. I landed bolts and asked him if that was it he said yep that was it, I jumped for joy lol. I'm now having a hard time trying to land that back foot on again, it'll only land with the front foot. Or sometimes it'll do a varial by accident & I'll still land.

One thing that makes em easier for me is standing on the balls of my feet before I pop, gives me a bit more height and generally a cleaner land :)

It’s just a forward flip damn I’ve been doing this trick but with a flick so it’s either dolphin with extra flip and some times I get dolphin double flip

Nice stache ;) But yeah this trick is pretty difficult. I find the hardest part is being able to jump high enough where the board has room to spin under you haha.
