As a person born and raised in Chicago it was so nice to see one of our older style apartments vs. all of the modern new builds. Don’t get me wrong the new ones are beautiful too but this is what I was used to growing up. I love the charm and coziness they possess. This made me happy to see and you decorated beautifully. 💕
Same! Fellow Chicagoan here, I love the charm of the older buildings, especially walk ups. Classic crown molding, the built in bookshelves and buffets, old hardwood… It has a kind of warmth that the cookie cutter modern luxury apartments can’t replicate. I definitely miss my old place

I'm from Chicago suburbs I grew up in Chicago as long as you're in a nice area.. Chicago is fine.. your place is beautiful.. the French doors make it and so does that arch and ,that detailed wood trim.. Chicago has a lot apartments with a lot of history and old world charm!!
