The editing on this one is chef’s kiss - love the glimpses of how you live in the space, the bite-sized tastes of the before/after change. Just really fun to watch. Looks great, of course.
Your home is so LUSH. You can def tell a professional prop stylist lives here. Love how you’ve injected so much of your personality into your space. So moody and cozy. Well done!! 😍
The office /spare room is really neat. A lot of functionality in a small space. Painting the bed nook dark makes it feel more intentional and less "I'm sleeping in a closet! Agghhh!"Also love the shelves on the side wall inside the closet.
I absolutely LOVE your condo!!! Well done, Paige!!!! Love the moody bathroom, your taste in art, and the pillows on your bed. Oh, and the mini-bar is genius! Love your dishware too!!!
I couldn’t agree more. I have set this up in my son’s room (walls and ceiling the dame colour). I would like to know what brands are you guys using for paints? Especially dark hues? Us and Europe please(based in Paris). I’m searching for brands available in France which are based on organic pigments as they are way much prettier than paints based on synthetic stuff.
Dark paint looks incredible when people embrace the intimacy of a small space. I think brighter paints like in white look best when rooms are in that not-too-small-but-not-too-big kind of room size.
I know I feel so validated seeing how awesome and cozy her place looks with the dark moody colors. I love that vibe but I was super hesitant to furnish/decorate my place too dark bc it’s so tiny. I’m just in love w her style. Such a huge inspiration for me
Depends on the white and the light. White with warm undertones, plenty of natural light and layers of texture can be very cosy. Fireplaces that work help too. I don’t think I could live in a dark and moody living room. It would depress the hell out of me. But it looks good and if your serotonin level can handle it, go for it. Looks really nice in Paige’s LR but then she knows how to make it look good.
Love how you moved between each scene and filled them with actual real life vignettes - playing Talking Heads on the turntable, showing books you're reading/read, having something to eat/drink, genuinely laying on the bed, the artful camera seen in the mirror, the whole thing is very artfully done - love the slip dress scene. As an artist, I'm appreciative that you've shown real artists' works - rather than cheap prints, and I love the pieces you bought - especially the impasto red one . You artfully placed each flower in its perfect spot and yet they had weight instead of looking like fluff decor. This is the first video of your style that I've seen, I've subscribed because everything else has been flat, other than Lone Fox and Arvin - I love that Lone Fox uses vintage pieces and art too. Love that you bought the twenty dollar canvas from the guy dirty and all, I've done the same. RE the accordion doors, I need to check out newer videos to see if you put up something different. I was thinking of hanging a canvas from the ceiling, either with art on it, or a black and white photo. Something that you can pull a cord and roll down with weight at the bottom then roll back up.
I love how much care and thought you put into every room. It’s really cool to see someone express themselves through their home.. Thanks for letting us in. ☺️
love the editing style but it’s really hard to visualize the space. felt like i was looking at a bunch of visually appealing up close pictures of the space but never really saw all of it put together
God I love this channel. There's so many channels with spaces done on a budget but no channels with actual designers doing them! It's also really helpful to see a styled home someone actually lives in...made me realize some of my expectations for my home are a little unrealistic. Anyway thanks for the vid your style kills
Absolutely in love with your condo!!! The huge red canvas and floating nightstands from your bedroom and the ceramics in your kitchen inspired me so much. My parents have a ton of vintage Japanese and Chinese stoneware and ceramicware that I now want to display on our open shelves.
Literally had a tear in my eye while watching. This is the exact space I’ve envisioned for myself. *in all it’s small-space-configuring-joint-smoking-coziness-artwork-sharing-cave-curiosity-loveliness. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
Love it!! Your problem-solving skills and creativity is impeccable. I've always admired your unique taste in design and you've pushed me to go more against the grain myself. So glad you shared this with us it was such a treat!! well done all around
I am so glad you filmed your work on this space over the years, it really added to the tour. Love this video, so well done. Love the space, it's goals.
Paige I love your videos so much! I moved in my new apartment in July- my first one that my parents aren't paying for since I graduated. It's been so fun watching your videos and getting inspired. I've been working from the ground up furnishing/decorating everything. You helped me realize to be patient and find things I really love instead of buying stuff just to have. My place isnt finished but I know it will be worth it!
I love so much about it! I agree we need wider shots to get the overall vibe of each space. My fave “moments”: 1. the blend of patterns in your headboard and pilllows. 2. Wall bar + pendants 😍 3. Living room side tables plus book stacks plus lamps. Also kudos for doing a dark “feature wall” in the living room that I don’t hate. Trying to figure out why it’s not annoying. Maybe because you also painted the architectural little build out from the wall that brings the color a little onto the side wall.. doesn’t feel so trendy. Can’t wait to see more. I’m hugely inspired to go tweak my house now.
for the guest room door: would be pretty industrious, but you could do a garage-door style pull down. since it's used as an office pretty frequently, I'd imagine you could leave it up most of the time anyway. i bet you could even do it out of white wood panels. could be cool! big fan of yours and loved the tour
I am so inspired! I'm moving soon into a smallish place with some weird corners and finishes. Most of them I'll have to live with for the time being, but I love your use of the space in your place. Lighting and wall colours also make such a difference - I am obsessed with your use of black on the walls and cabinets! I'll absolutely be watching again once I'm settled in.
It's awesome! My favorites are all the black you used, the kitchen tile grouted black, the books everywhere, the head board to your bed, the vintage cabinets in your office, and the accordion door on the guest bedroom. I think it just fits. Love everything. 🤎🤎🤎
Obsessed with the Suze ashtray. After a road trip through France my boyfriend has become obsessed with it, and the amount of vintage Suze stuff we have in our apartment is honestly laughable. Thank you for such a lovely video!
I enjoy how you just give yourself credit for what you did well instead of fake modesty. You really did an amazing job, so why not be proud and say so. :) Probably the best home tour I´ve seen!
I love your style. Well-done Paige. Well-done. You used your space remarkably well. It's cozy and a bit quirky (in a good way). Your art is fantastic too.
I was watching a lot of videos from the channel NEVER TOO SMALL. Your video with the no music and snippets of you using the room silently reminds me of that style, but you are more lively of course! Love it!
This was great! HOWEVER, my main CON was the framing of the video. I wasn’t able to really get a full scope of the space as everything was too zoomed in. You never really got to see any space from floor to ceiling in order to get a full picture of the rooms. Style wise it was really good! I hope you do another video going more in depth on some of your design decisions because you transformed a small, style-less, place into a really cohesive well designed home. Someone should film you doing this. I wanna see your AD home tour. But all in all 👏👏👏👏
Your apartment/condo is just beautiful!!! What a transformation! I loved seeing all your designer touches, the fabrics, the art, the ingenuity of adapting to the peculiar spaces, loved seeing Goo, love, love, love the dark paint, the bathroom!! Loved how you formatted the video as well; I just really enjoy your videos and now we can all picture you in your cozy home, enjoying the fruit of your labors! Thanks for it all! :)
Did anyone else die when the Goo looked at herself in the mirror? The best home accessory is the Goo. 😂 Seriously, love the apartment and the incredible design skill you have.
Plot twist: Paige looked in the mirror and realized The Goo contributed most of these design changes. This mirror scene is metaphorical. All Paige owes, she owes to The Goo: the pee marks on the couch, on the carpet, on Paige's friends. The Goo runs a prop design business and Paige is the human translator. Those silent intros from The Goo in every video are The Goo's way of setting the tone for the masterpieces Paige will show shortly.
The kitchen and guest bedroom were major creative accomplishments and upgrades. Loved all your selections! I loved the kitchen open shelving with the sconces above. I also am super inspired with that murphy bed action and have been waiting to pull the trigger to do something similar in our office/guest bedroom. You had me all the way til the bathroom. I'm SUPER impressed with your diy work in that bathroom. Like my god, what can't you do? I'd just be concerned about how dark it is. I like lots of light when I get ready in the mornings. Hopefully your renters also appreciate the moody vibes because it's definitely a *vibe*. Thanks for sharing your home with us internet strangers! I'm not brave enough to put my home out there for others to critique :)
I loveee it it’s so moody and comforting. When I take baths I need my bathroom to be relaxing and that’s perfect for it. I think she just needs some around the mirror lights in there. I know it’s cheeky but when it comes to renting that place out that will be the best situation.
Omg you could do French doors for the office/guest room! My mom found old vintage French doors years ago and installed them in our house and I still love them.
*YES* . Paige, I love your space. I have embraced the dark and moody vibe in my home. Some small spaces just crave it. Your use of curtains on the closets adds softness and texture. Great flex space in the office/guest room. High five on the wooden bowls, I can't get enough.I'm 54, and my design style has evolved over the years, I've found my happy place. Thrifting and DIY have gotten me my dream home.
Really love the video! It really inspires me to have more unique & curated items in my house. I rented house in similiar size (living in asia, the regular starting houses footage are around your condo size) and it often makes me can’t relate to american house tours because even though they are pretty, it’s hard to make it applicable in term of layout and composition of the room . But I feel optimistic for my house after seeing yours 😁😁 Oh and I love all of your lightings!!! Video idea : would love to see your favorite style for things that have more practical use like screen door, curtains, switches, kitchen n other appliances
I love this, so inspiring. I've recently started embracing color and art and my space feels more unique and curated. The editing of the video is amazing. I really enjoy shots with no talking, just movement, environmental sounds with quick transitions.
Watching your channel has helped me sooo much as i furnish my first real adult apartment. You have had such a deep impact on the evolution of my style and 🙌🏽 thank you 🙌🏽. LOVE that red textured art
OMG Paige, I absolutely love watching your videos. You crack my sh!t UP! Your expressions are priceless. No fake crap with Paige. Refreshing change from the norm. And your home is as charming as you are. Ingenious use of space. I knew it would be good, I didn't know it would be THAT good. Can we see the floor you did in the bathroom? Imma rewatch, maybe I missed it. Yup, you have the chops to critique the hell out of celebrity homes all you want, IMHO. Oh, and can I have The Goo? I need a Goo.
There is something so beautiful about you, your refreshing honesty is the best part 🤩 I love your place. Cool sponsor, and seeing the different choices with the bathroom black tile, the Murphy bed, yay
I have a suggestion for the door to the guest room/office! I think a pair of old west saloon swinging doors would be such a unique and quirky essence to add to the vibe of the space. They're not to hefty that they feel so heavy and big within the space they're in and I feel it adds some funky culture. Along with this, these doors don't fully separate the room to the rest of the condo, leaving a more inviting feel especially when working inside the room. There might be some issues with privacy if you get a pair that are too small, but if you get some that are fairly long I think it can work rlly rlly well!
I'm going to be that record dad, and say that I most certainly gasped with the way you grabbed your record with your bare hand hahah. Beautiful tour, I really appreciate your eye for design and authentic details that make a space feel like home. Love!
I came to say the exact same thing! Being of a certain age where record albums were like gold, it was common knowledge you NEVER, ever handled the surface of the disc. I always handle vinyl by the very thin edge and always put back in the dust cover and not directly in the album cover. But more importantly, your place is really nicely done. Love the Murphy bed/office room. Well done.
I love what you did with your place! Very cozy and detailed without feeling cluttered. And so many smart storage hacks! You should do more videos about small space storage.
Was binge watching The Sorry Girls whom I love and then your reaction video of Becky’s house pop on my feed. Was skeptical first about that brutal honesty almost…but yeah, definitely worth watching and your house tour left me wanting to makeover my entire appartement ! Loved it ! The tiles with opposite grout, the genius tiny office/guest room and all the moody atmosphere… just subscribed. Btw the Suze ashtray you have is a French liquor. Bisous
love LOVE... i am going to copy your bedside for my tiny beach cottage with no space - also the lighting by the bed solution - - you made it look easy ... i can do it.... thank YOU !!!!
I'm so confused with what style of decor or living space I like. I love the moody colors of your home. They're a breath of fresh air from the white and light colors. I think I like this look more than I ever thought I would. It's so cozy and warm.
I love it, you did miracles with your condo, wish you were here , I'm up to my fifth gallon of pain just choosing the right colors is a pain in the buttt...
Congratulations! I think you chose a lovely place to buy. It is so cozy and homey, but modern, and I love that! Drooling over that SMEG coffee maker, lol. I have the same taste in dishes, mostly stoneware, pottery, and wood.
I love how moody and cosy is your condo! Btw your editing and overall style kinda reminds me of the "never too small" series on youtube - If you haven't watched it yet I really recommend it to you! (maybe you can find a solution for the guest bedroom/office's door over there 😅)
To replace the accordion door I'd want to do a shoji screen, but real ones are so expensive. Not sure if it's worth it for a place that you'll rent out in the future. Maybe just keep your eye out in case one comes up on FB marketplace or the ReStore, etc.
There’s this video on my subscription tab just above paige’s new video ua-cam.com/video/tMH1bSteqkI/v-deo.html I wouldn’t know what shoji is if not because I saw that video thumbnail 😂
So much respect for what you accomplished here on such small budget. Not everything you do is always to my taste, but I still enjoy it, and think it looks great, if that makes sense. Can’t wait to see what you do with your own non-rental place in the future. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I love peg racks! I use them behind bedroom/bathroom doors as a way to hang my denim in between wears. They are amazing. Beautiful home fellow Chicagoan!
You had me at front stoop. Your home is styled with a wonderful balance of class, warmth, function and…an artistic flair. The kitchen; your choice to remove a cabinet allowed you to make two walls work harder with structured open shelves. The chairs are practical, chic and look comfortable. I desire your green vase. There is a pleasant freeing flow throughout, as a result of the use of the contrasting white spaces vs the dark spaces is well played. In the living room, what a talented layout of the black walls, it creates movement and I adore how it masks the door with trim - that leads to your back hall. Your new found white light fixture is looking fine. The use of space in your bedroom is way-out side the box, a risk that pays back. I will, make those side tables at time point, great function and lines. The dramatic, labor intensive bathroom is embracing. The Office/Guest room, you have gracefully strong armed to your needs. The black closet totally works, again feeding the light/open & dark/closed balance through out your home. Lastly, the final layer, your gift of exceptional staggering…texture, color, sizes and interest. Ooh wait also, that long clear floating shelf…wonderful way to display treasures. Paige thank you for the fun adventure of watching you share your passionately created home.
This is so good. I love your solutions for small space you came up with and moodiness of whole space. As for the bedroom doors I think you could just go with the same type but nicer or maybe use those two wings, folding in the middle (bifold :) ). There are closet doors like it.
a door , 2windows & HIGH ceilings in the kitchen... LOVE it!!! I like the curtins in lieu of the closet door...makes the bedroom feel like there is 2 windows in it. I'm a big fan of dimmer switches. nice job ...remember it's just a place to chill, sleep, grab some grub.......Life is OUTSIDE one's domicile!......Namaste! ps: BTW ...saw a video of a designer in small NYC apt. that had the "brick" view on her windows also.... what she did was hang artwork in the center of the upper & lower window panes that was smaller than the panes so there was still a frame of glass around them to let in daylight..yet...she had a "view"...she hung them with the 3M Command strips.......I thought cool idea...... did that on one of my windows in my apt. also....
Ok i love what you did with your condo but why am I the biggest nerd ever? When you played the Talking Heads record and smiled at the camera I fucking smiled right back as if you could see me 😭🥸
Your place is so gorgeous. Have I ever seen a more soothing, moody beautiful 'moment' than the vase on the toilet tank and the art arranged above it? I have not!
The editing on this one is chef’s kiss - love the glimpses of how you live in the space, the bite-sized tastes of the before/after change. Just really fun to watch. Looks great, of course.
Agree! The editing is so random and I love it!
THIS INSPIRED ME SO MUCH. YOU ARE AMAZING. Please decorate and redo my entire apartment.
I'm obsessed with your music, your voice is brilliant! ❤
Second!!!!
I love your attention to detail and quality and how each piece means something to you rather than just buying it because it's trendy.
I love seeing how you creatively solved some of those weird layout/limited storage issues. It’s great to see your design style at work!
I absolutely LOVE your condo!!! Well done, Paige!!!! Love the moody bathroom, your taste in art, and the pillows on your bed. Oh, and the mini-bar is genius! Love your dishware too!!!
:)
Smart use of the vertical space in your condo. It's cozy and comfortable without sacrificing style. Your eclectic choice of art is really fun.
Those wooden bowls are top notch. I love all of your little treasures. My house is filled with treasures and oddities and they bring me so much joy.
I love how you show the functionality as well as the things that aren't quite how you'd prefer.
The dark living room is perfect, we painted our living room a similar color and love it. Dark rooms are so much cozier than the typical bright white.
I couldn’t agree more. I have set this up in my son’s room (walls and ceiling the dame colour). I would like to know what brands are you guys using for paints? Especially dark hues? Interestingly, it almost always works better in small rooms.

still love the video and your place! beautifully styled but you knew that already lol :*
Same. Too many close-ups and not enough panned out shots.
Yes I want to see more and bigger picture although I did love the artistic close-ups very beautiful spaces
God I love this channel. There's so many channels with spaces done on a budget but no channels with actual designers doing them! She is literally painting her walls in slip dress. I live for this.

wow I love that idea!
Um in love with that idea
That is a dope idea!!!
I’ve seen small roll up garage doors intended for sheds that would be perfect!

Obsessed with the Suze ashtray. After a road trip through France my boyfriend has become obsessed with it, and the amount of vintage Suze stuff we have in our apartment is honestly laughable. Thank you for such a lovely video!
Its super neat, suze means tears in a lot of Slavic languages so it’s pretty fun to have that written on an ashtray
Watching the 2019 footage is such a trip because I remember you posting about it!
hahahaha only the og’s have seen those videos! they are now hidden but maybe I’ll make them public again
literally my favorite home tour i've seen on youtube. Your decor is so inspiring, I've watched this like 5 times already haha
:)
Honestly mee too, at least, makes me feel cuddled..
0:15 Yes, Owner: Condo and Renting: Apartment. Very nice decorations!!! Love it!
This is one of the most interesting apartment tours that I’ve seen on here. Great space, dope edits and cool styling.
Ooh love the pattern mixing in the bedroom with the cushions and the moody lighting in your lounge.
I enjoy how you just give yourself credit for what you did well instead of fake modesty. You really did an amazing job, so why not be proud and say so. :) Probably the best home tour I´ve seen!
losing my mind over how good this reno is!!! bless the UA-cam algorithm today, your channel is a gem!
Adored your condo tour. You've got a great eye for decor! Appreciated that you were real and the tour didn't feel stagey.
I love how livable you made your little condo. Having a study/guest room is Epic in that much space.
I love your style. Well-done Paige. Well-done. You used your space remarkably well. It's cozy and a bit quirky (in a good way). Your art is fantastic too.

I agree. But the shots of the little corners and vignettes were very nice.

Did anyone else die when the Goo looked at herself in the mirror?

Yes! That made me giggle 😃

She did look like she was having an existential moment…
What kind of dog is the Goo? I’m dying over how cute she is
This looks amazing - thanks so much for sharing! For the guest room door, instead of a barn door maybe a sliding Japanese paper screen door?
That is exactly what I was thinking.
Omg I LOVED THIS. You have an eye for design for real. Its fresh, lived-in and it looks so easy to clean. 10/10.
The kitchen and guest bedroom were major creative accomplishments and upgrades. Loved all your selections! I loved the kitchen open shelving with the sconces above. I loved the family room, and how you mix textiles and the mix of art! So inviting and tells a story. Love!
Hi! I absolutely loved your editing style. It was perfectly imperfect! So nice to see someone on UA-cam from Chicago as well, loved it.
slim japanese screen for the accordion door situation? great video watched entire thing❤
Really love the video! It really inspires me to have more unique & curated items in my house.
Ah! YAY!
Well done! I enjoyed your tour. All the rooms look modern, fresh and effortless. I really like your big red piece of art in your bedroom.
THANK YOU!!!
There is something so beautiful about you, your refreshing honesty is the best part 🤩 I love your place. Cool sponsor, and seeing the different choices with the bathroom black tile, the Murphy bed, yay
OBSESSED 😍 and THANK YOU for showing yourself existing in your space!! such a pet peeve that no one else does this
Your place really reflects your taste. I was expecting to like it a lot, but I ended up LOVING it!
Just adore the bathroom. Well, all the rooms, really. Your taste is fun.
Love!
And candles near vinyl 🙀 haha
I came to say the exact same thing! Being of a certain age where record albums were like gold, it was common knowledge you NEVER, ever handled the surface of the disc. I always handle vinyl by the very thin edge and always put back in the dust cover and not directly in the album cover.
But more importantly, your place is really nicely done. Love the Murphy bed/office room. Well done.
I love what you did with your place! Very cozy and detailed without feeling cluttered. And so many smart storage hacks! You should do more videos about small space storage.
I've been waiting for this, and I was not disappointed! Thanks for inviting me over!
thanks for comin!
i love the style of this tour. i appreciate those little moments where it shows you living in it I AM OBSESSED
Bisous
Who are the Sorry Girls?
Omg stopppp I used to live right around the corner!!!!! So fun to see what this building looks like on the inside!
Love it! You have used the space really well and have come up with some great storage solutions. Great job!
love LOVE... i am going to copy your bedside for my tiny beach cottage with no space - also the lighting by the bed solution - - you made it look easy ... i can do it.... thank YOU !!!!
I love your home ❤️. I'm definitely "copying" your bar idea.
It's nice to see a home with personality 😍.
I have no notes!!! Loved your space and how cozy yet cool it felt. Thanks for letting us in your home
Been waiting for this video oooh. Happy coincidence that it was uploaded literally 7 minutes ago!
My favorite is the Murphy bed and office. Love the black paint makes a cozy sleeping nook.
Okay okay, this is literally my dream home! I love your style and how you renovated your space!😊
i love how you took a deficiency-lack of light-and turned it into a total wow factor. the moody vibe is amazing. AMAZING
I'm so confused with what style of decor or living space I like. I love the moody colors of your home. They're a breath of fresh air from the white and light colors. I think I like this look more than I ever thought I would. It's so cozy and warm.
I think the key is to mix styles!
So creative the way you styled and decorated. It's perfect. Also love how you edited this to show before and after. Your personality is refreshing.
I love it, you did miracles with your condo, wish you were here , I'm up to my fifth gallon of pain just choosing the right colors is a pain in the buttt...
Don't give up!
(maybe you can find a solution for the guest bedroom/office's door over there 😅)
LEVELED UP ... the brilliance is in the details. Fabulous job, love the vibe.
Instead of that accordion door or replacing it with a barn door you could do a Japanese Shoji door
Love it! All of it, the colours, the details... I also love how you filmed yourself just hanging out in your living-room...
This was my exact thought as well!
I love how you renovated the condo, black is such an amazing color to work with and each and every room flows so nicely 💕💕
So much respect for what you accomplished here on such small budget. Not everything you do is always to my taste, but I still enjoy it, and think it looks great, if that makes sense. Can’t wait to see what you do with your own non-rental place in the future. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
thank you!!
I love peg racks! I use them behind bedroom/bathroom doors as a way to hang my denim in between wears. They are amazing. Beautiful home fellow Chicagoan!
Amazing!! there's that youtube channel called never too small. Hehe it reminded me of those houses. You should to a video reacting to one of theirs
Watched this one again to "pre-game" tomorrow's video. This was one of my favorites so far! Looking forward to your next talk, Paige 👏
Your a smart girl, buying at 26 and renting it out for a bit of income! You did an amazing job!
your taste is almost immaculate already. imagine the house you'll own one day and how gorgeous that will be.
Hi AD, welcome to The Goo's home.
Adorb The Goo🐶🐾💘
I like your taste in lamps. Especially your Gerald Thurston for Lightolier table lamp. The whole place looks pretty great!
Nice! I love the dark vibes. I’m currently searching in the Chicago area. Do you recommend this neighborhood?
west town!!
@@wasselpa thanks :)
Love seeing your space, and love the side table construction footage!
Paige thank you for the fun adventure of watching you share your passionately created home.
this was so sweet, thank you :)
This is so good. I love your solutions for small space you came up with and moodiness of whole space. As for the bedroom doors I think you could just go with the same type but nicer or maybe use those two wings, folding in the middle (bifold :) ). There are closet doors like it.
Fair play Paige, you've genuinely got unreal taste.
a door , 2windows & HIGH ceilings in the kitchen...
When you played the Talking Heads record and smiled at the camera I fucking smiled right back as if you could see me 😭🥸
:)
Your place is so gorgeous. Have I ever seen a more soothing, moody beautiful 'moment' than the vase on the toilet tank and the art arranged above it? I have not!
