- I'm only like 2 months into living in Chicago but I really like it so far. Just sharing what I've been able to do with my space so far since moving in.

The overall layout of your apartment is amazing. The living room is definitely my favorite part. Great job!
Loving the calm soothing vibes, your monochromatic wardrobe, the *realistic* amount of stuff for one person living in a studio apt (yes, I watched through every cabinet and drawer reveal lol), and this fab city that I will likely be departing soon. The apartments I'm looking to move to have the same white/brown/greige color scheme, so this video is a great example of how to (actually) minimally decorate such a space. Hope you enjoy living in Chicago!
Black is my favorite color and my closet used to look just like this when I did a huge declutter, but with time I’ve added color. But black is still my safe haven.

I love how your studio looks but the only thing is I’d probably like a door to separate my bedroom from everything else but then again it’s a studio apartment so it’s expected, this is one of the best I’ve seen so far
Yeah I was thinking put some sort of mini temp wall / curtain there but then I realized if you make it so it can open (like with a curtain) then you can watch tv from both your couch and bed!! this is a really good studio layout since with most studios u only get 1 window but this u get 2 so this is a really nice studio to have

Your apartment is very amazing, I have slightly become obsessed with downtown Chicago and all that it has to offer. Your apartment tour in itself was very calming and such a joy to watch. I dont know why I'm whispering this in my head while I write this comment but all in all your tour was amazing and calming. Oh, and that night view.... WOW !!!!! Why is it that none of these videos ever has the information that is most pertinent: THE RENT! HOW MUCH IS THE RENT??? living in the South Loop in Chicago is expensive, that's why this studio apartment is so fab! Congrats though. I have a sweet place in East Lakeview with lake views for days and excellent transportation, along with all the perks of living in a highrise, but I like your apartment. I'm going to check out the prices and consider a move. Thanks for the tour.

Just for fun, the plant is called a white bird of paradise , I only know this because I used to live in Florida, in an vintage home that was owned & maintained by an old guard gardener person, that knew every name of every plant known to man lol

I have been to down town Chicago it was different from Miami people seemed happier it seemed very chill especially on a Saturday people were on boats on Lake Michigan or in the park also there were boat tours and boat rowers

question for uploader, how much did an apartment like this cost/ what's the rent?
im only 14 but i really want to move to one of the big cities when im older lol. i wanted to live in NY but it's soooo expensive like 2000 a month for a tiny studio. ive been working really hard in school to try and be successful bc i really want to move to chicago by myself but how much would it cost? a one bed/one bath is literally perfect for me so i want something similar to this. what would you say the general price is?
